Oxbow Road Boat Ramp reviews
9Fantastic Spot but you have to get there early before the people get there about 9am. Peaceful and calm.
Great access but the dock wasn't in yet for the season which makes it hard to load and unload a boat.
Convenient access to the reservoir
We launched our kayaks and enjoyed a sunset paddle. Handy PortaJohn in the parking lot.
Excellent ramp! There is also a really neat nature trail to the left of the ramp. Take a hammock! Also a great fishing spot.
Before the new concrete was a great place to sit and picnic or paint. Still good put in for kayak and better shore walking too.
The improvements to this area a few years ago are amazing. It's now much more well lit, easier to access the ramp, and more spots to shore fish.
Wow! I knew some sort of construction was going on, but I had no idea of the extent. This place is gorgeous now. Gone is the gravel road and all the dust with it. A new paved road has replaced it. Trees have been cut down and cleared out. The area is really fisher friendly now. A new boat ramp and lighting have been added. Count this as another great place gor night fishing.
Place is so much better now that they have received done the area, actual boat ramp now and the road is paved
They did a great job building this ramp. It reopened in May 2018. Prior to May it was a small dirt road leading to a small, mostly unusable boat ramp. Now there is a large paved access road, parking lot, new boat ramp, and tons of bank access for fishing. One minor complaint is they need a sign directing kayakers to load on the left side of the ramp. It does not seem like they will do it out of simple courtesy.
