Parijaat Restaurant and Bar reviews
80 stars. This restaurant needs to be shut down. They are crooks thieves. I ordered online on my lunch break. They said they never got my order. I have my receipt on my email. No one even tries to help. Very rude and the online ordering should be illegal.
I called in to ask a question. The person who answered listened to the question and then asked, "why are you calling? ". I asked if the restaurant name was correct and they said yes, so I asked to speak to a manager because this person clearly did not understand what I was asking. He person refused to give me to a manager saying, "why do you want a manager, I am speaking to you. " I said, because I just went through my whole question, and it was clear he didn't understand what I was asking and wanted to speak with someone who could help me. He hung up. Guess I won't be going here for food.
I encountered a highly frustrating experience at Parijaat Restaurant and Bar. After placing a pickup order through Clover, I patiently waited for assistance for at least 5 minutes. Upon finally being attended to, they insisted there was no record of my order. Simultaneously, a DoorDash driver faced a similar predicament.
Despite presenting evidence of payment through the receipt on his Clover printer, the staff claimed they hadn't received the funds. Furthermore, they asserted that the money had been directed to another account, and they had terminated their association with the service a month prior. Shockingly, they declined to prepare my pre-paid order or take any steps toward issuing a refund.
Instead, they suggested I place a new order and make an additional payment. Such a proposition was unacceptable, prompting me to leave the establishment. I promptly contacted my credit card company to initiate a refund process, seeking a resolution for this unsatisfactory experience.
If I could give 0 I would because how do you not know how to work your online system on your website and not provide a solution for the customer to get the food they paid for. Absolutely awful and let's not even talk about the teenager that greeted me with "yea? " As if I didn't walk into a restaurant. The whole experience was trash.
If I could give zero stars I would. This restaurant literally robbed me. Outrageous customer service. Ordered $80 worth of food and when I showed up to pick up the employee told me they did not have my order. I showed them the website it was ordered from with the order confirmation and asked if it was their website and he said it was but he doesn’t have any online orders in the store. I asked him how I would get my refund for the food I wasn’t receiving and he said to call the number on the website. I called the number and the store phone started ringing. The employee ran to the office and declined the call. I asked him if I could speak to a manager and he said there wasn’t a manager in and gave me a phone number to call. I called the number he gave me and the person who answered said they used to be the manager of the restaurant but haven’t worked for them in two years. I called the restaurant back and this time they answered, when I asked the employee for the current managers phone number he said he couldn’t help me. It’s one thing to have a technical difficulty with your online ordering. But to just take someone’s money but not give them they’re good even though they have proof of the order? I was astonished by how this restaurant handled the situation.
A true hole-in-the-wall with savory and sweet foods for casual dining. Talk with the waiter or chef to customize your dining experience. Parijaat is sure to satisfy the taste buds of anyone who enters the restaurant. Remember to be kind and respectful if asked to substitute a dish due to supply. Whatever the chefs prepare will leave you with a full stomach and big smile.
I love everything I've tried here and I will continue coming back food is freshly prepared and very good
Most of our food was wildly wrong, wouldn't try again.
The breads we ordered were fine but all of our curry dishes were nothing like any other indian food we've ever had or like the descriptions.
Tikka masala curry looked fairly normal but had very little flavor except for a heavy cinnamon flavor. Medium spice level was almost non existent.
Chicken curry & Rogan Josh: We honestly couldn't tell which dish was supposed to be which but neither was correct.
One of these was very broth based with a heavy layer of grease or oil, had no cream and tiny bits of cooked spinach. Not enough to be a saag but enough to slightly look like there was something green in the dish.
The 2nd was similar: broth based with a heavy layer of grease or oil, no cream, large chunks of diced tomato, onion, green pepper. No broccoli or spinach.
Windows totally covered in stickers and hard to see in or out of which felt creepy.
Workers seemed like they were being hassled to give us our food but they clearly had no other customers.
Doordash refunded our money but no way we would go again.
