I moved here close to the end of the pandemic because the prices where reasonable. 2 years later and they have jacked my rent up by $300+ (which they like to not warn you about untill the month that you have to resign an agreement) and I'm honestly Terrified of what my next lease is going to look like.

What did we get when rent goes up you may ask? Absolutely nothing! There are big potholes all over the road and the parking spot lines don't even exist. And good luck getting anything repaired let alone getting the office to answer a phonecall durring buisness hours. We can call twice in two different hours get no anwer but if you walk over to the office she is there.

When we first moved in our bathroom sink stopper broke. We reported this and showed them multiple times and nothing happened

Once winter hit our heat was not working so we Flipped our thermostat off bc it obviously wasn't working and called matience. They came in Flipped it on and walked out. They assumed we where that dumb. We called again and made sure someone was home for the fix. You almost have to do this to get anything done and even then they will try to push it off.

There was a really bad storm a year and a half ago that had water dripping into our apartment. When we called in they came and fixed the seal so no more water would come in but where the drywall was damaged they said that they would come back in a few days after it was all dried up to fix it the rest of the way. I still have a hole on my wall from this.

Around Easter 2023 a copper pipe under my kitchen sink cracked and had a gross smell leaking through it. What did they do? Tape it up with gorella tape as a temporary fix and say that they would be in to do a total pipe repair after the holiday. I still have tape holding my sink together with a busted pipe under it and have had to assume normal sink use after trying not to use it too much as they advised. We where also concerned about water damage and mold with this bc the cabinets had been soaked which they reassured us with the repair everything would be gutted and cleaned. Sence the repairs have not been done tho this additional cleaning has not been done.

That's just the matience issues (so far 2023)

On Fridays-Sundays you constantly hear people revenge their engines down the road racing untill late in the night durring the warm months. I would avoid the main road durring this time it's kinda dangerous

One of the neighbors will Rev his bike engine at 3am

The windows are verry thin and your neighbors will have verry loud phone calls and let their kids run right outside of everyone's bedroom windows at 8-9am so good luck sleeping if you work in the evenings like I do

The same loud kids are leaving trash all over the yard

The cops get called every few monthS for the same few houses

When the apartment ls come in for "inspections" they will have people lock up their pets into a bedroom or something for at minimal a week but they have a verry bad habit of "not getting to all the apartments in time" and tell us to lock them up a whole other week instead of doing sections at a time so people didn't have to shut their animals up for soo long. We will also leave a note reminding them of a matience thing for the inspection and it never gets touched.

The power went out TWICE 5 days apart because of falty power/transformers and we lost all of the food in both our fridge and freezer

We had to fix our own toilet because the office never answered its phone and matience never responded to a note left for them during inspections

Pros of living here- spacious, there are some playgrounds and you can do whatever you want to your garden bed and they let you have a garden if you keep it maintained

So there is a couple things that anyone should know before living there.

For starters we lived there for a year and a half. They jacked the rent up, mind you when we went to sign our lease we were NOT advised that it would be going up until we went to pay our rent. Secondly when they done inspections we got told that everything would be fixed and it was not. The top of the fridge was torn up from a FLOOD over a year ago, the ceiling was becoming stained from leaking going on and they just painted right over it. The furnace door was very messed up, the list goes on. Thirdly, don’t live here if you have a dog what so ever. Our dog had been attacked almost 3-4 times because of others letting their dogs off leash and it was reported numerous times with no action taken and now our dog has fear reactivity. We addressed our concerns on numbers of occasions but we were ignored like we were garbage to them. Overall it’s not a great place to live and just not worth the money. You’re better off looking for somewhere else.

I have been living here for a few years now and have overall positive feelings. Those I have spoke with in the office and the maintenance I have interacted with are friendly. When they have scheduled maintenance, they're kind enough to give you at least two days of a notice, and for the most part check ups are pretty quick and aren't too often to where it may feel like it's invasive. The rooms aren't too small, although I wish there was just a couple extra feet more available in each room, but the bedroom closets are a nice size with plenty of clothing space and storage if necessary. And the rooms are pretty well insulated.

As for the cons. When I first reported a few concerns regarding the bathroom, such as the fan being very dirty looking and the towel holder sticking pretty far out from the wall, they have been inspected and we were advised they were "fine. " We finally had someone take a to look at our fan, who not only cleaned it, but told us it was so loud because the screws were too loose. After a clean and a solid tighten, the fan runs at 1/4 the decibel level. The towel drying rack still sticks a whole thumb out from the base of the towel rack and the wall. We're not going to mess with it

Noise level is pretty loud at the bottom of the complex. There are neighbors within the complex that think everyone outside of their car wants to hear what they're listening to, but at the bottom of the apartment complex is where all the children play. I will understand that they are kids, but when they choose to okay outside of my front door instead of going to the park every day, my own work is disrupted

This also has never been addressed. Power flickers daily, sometimes even goes out. This is mostly terrible for me as I work remotely.

There's only one area to do your laundry and although they have new equipment, it's very likely to get your stuff stolen if left unattended. I still feel that they should have two or 3 washer or dryers at every to every other building that each complex shares.
