Park Street Cantina reviews
33A fun place to go for some socially-distanced cocktails or a beer. The staff is cool and stays on top of keeping everyone safely distanced while keeping up the energy of the place. We had a lot of fun here. The only place in town with swings at the bar!
They water down drinks. Fill up top shelf bottles with bottom shel alcohol. Long waits etc. Not the place to go for anything.
Very slow service, took 45 minutes to get 7 tacos that came out extremely dry, over cooked and completely fell apart the second they were picked up. Bartender also very inattentive, not washing hands at all either. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Great place for nachos. Also not too busy for lunch like most of the places by the convention center.
3 stars instead of 4 because of the awful bartender Matt (read full review)
Went there for their National Margarita day event. The drinks were watered down, basically juice. It was super dull in there during the event but started to get more lively around 930. Before 930 the music was really wack but got better and had a good mixture when the crowd picked up. The bartender Makayla was great though. There was some newer bartender who was really slow. She asked my what I wanted then just went on to do other stuff and came back to me and had to re-ask. Then when we went to the front part to get some food, the bartender whom ordered our food NEVER checked back in. At some point another bartender had to step in to get us silverware, etc. Then I wanted another drink and I had the DISSERVICE of getting Matt as my next bartender. He was super rude and seemed racist. He was very kind to those of his race, he gave away a free drink to one and gave 2 for 1 to another but for me, I didn't get that chivalry. I asked him what something was on the menu his only response was. "tequila" not telling me if it was a well, etc. So then I asked "is that 2 for $8? " He just went about making it. When he returned I said "I didn't say I wanted it, I just asked what it was. " He looked at me dumbfounded and irritated. I responded "welp I guess I gotta have it now since you made it. " he just walked away. Btw it was disgusting and I didn't finish either of them. The other staff were friendly though.
Employee 911- Yolanda.
My bill was $38 (still have a receipt) and next day i came to know they charged me $51.
Would have loved to take advantage of your Sunday brunch. We basically stood outside for 20 mins right at 11am and the location was closed. Considering that you advertised the event (I was handed a flyer the day before), I would hope that you would at least be open on time.
I've been to this place twice and it is one of my favorites. Big area, lots of seating, and a pretty big dance floor. If you are wanting to have fun and dance with some friends, I would recommend this place.
Great atmosphere, really cool setting, but the staff wasn't super attentive or well trained. Charged 3 different amounts for the same drink. Overall would go back but hope to have a better bar experience.
The bartender was accommodating but the chef, who I saw there with my own eyes, should be ashamed if anyone calls him that. 40 mins to receive a warmish cheese quesadilla. I am a chef and I would be appalled to hear that I had failed so heavily. Might be a good drinking spot but the chef should be fired and maybe a bit more attention out front would be appreciated.
Horrible service, over cooked and forgotten food. Only cool thing is a few swings for chairs at the bar.
Had fun it was free to get in. Drinks weren't watered down. Lots of creepy guys tho lol probably because it's free lol
It was a great place about 4 years ago. Our visit last night was not good. 5 out of the 6 of us were burnt from the fog machine. Told the manager his response was I'll take care of it he went back and said he put his face under it and didn't feel anything. We beileve it was oil leaking from the machine it was black liquid. We were. Not all burnt at once it was in a 30min time period. Drink were fine just don't go around the fog machine.
First time in there, got a free card to get the nacho cheese while out with my brown bag and snigh asking for help and money, as I'm homeless.
We were there in the middle of the afternoon and got no service. Had to go to the bar and give our order
People who work here are very racist. They use excessive violence with people who are not even drunk and for no reason. Law enforcement won’t do anything either as these guys bribe them. So you are basically at the whims of their mood. There is nothing but trouble and problems at this place
Seriously the WORSE bar on Park Street. Complete with sticky floors and immature baby guards. Look forward to feeling Regret when you come here. The head of security also has a very fragile masculinity but pretends he’s a stoic so tread lightly. He’s more explosive than a baby with diarrhea. You’re been forewarned.
Drinks were good, food was not even close to what we ordered and was SLOW. We won’t be back again sadly.
This is the worst bar. They threw me out because I wanted to ask how much alcholoh went in a pitcher
Worst place in Columbus
Went for a concert and after waiting a while it was a great show. Machine gun Kelly out on a great show after getting started after midnight.
