Parts & Labor reviews
11Cooking techniques in this place are very cool. Restaurant always has a pleasant BBQ meat smell. Food overall is pretty tasty and refined. Have loved their chicken and sides (Brussels sprouts slaw, and carrots). Had their brisket burger and was very overwhelmed for what the cost is. Would like to see this place succeed.
Service was very friendly and food was full of flavor and looked amazing! Quality and taste was better than most fine dining!
I have eaten here a number of times. The smoked Brisket is delicious and I have also had other items that were all fresh and tasty. My personal favorite is the amazing 3 meat burger cooked in the smoker. The smoke gives it a taste as satisfying as a great steak. A special favorite of my friend group is the mac and cheese bites. My friend took the last slice of cheesecake home to share with her husband and said it was fantastic.
The food is amazing and, if for whatever reason you aren't a fan, there are so many other options steps away.
I really wish that people would realize that the cost of food is rising at a rapid rate and that they're going to have to pay more at restaurants. Weaponizing reviews on small businesses STRUGGLING DURING A PANDEMIC WITH SO MUCH OUT OF THEIR CONTROL is beyond petty. Shame on all of you.
I just moved back to Cincy from San Francisco so I'm used to paying a lot for food but this place is insane.
I got one brisket sandwich, which was pretty small, that came to $19 with tax and tip. If it was the best I'd had I wouldn't mind but it was pretty average to be honest. Won't be going back.
Just like others said, the smoked brisket sandwich is an absolutely disappointment. It's the size of a McDouble and doesn't taste as good (not saying much there). Maybe the other items on the menu are better, but I won't be trying it. And $18 for 6 oysters? They're out of their mind.
A friend and I each got different salads and they were delicious! One was a peach salad and the other had smoked trout. Yum! I think the menu changes so these may not always be on the menu, but I'm guessing any salad they make would be wonderful. My husband had the brisket sandwich. He is from Texas so I consider him a good judge of all things brisket and he said it was great. Excellent service, atmosphere and vibe. Definitely check it out.
WOW! What a great dining adventure! Parts & Labor is an amazing restaurant, located in the middle of a hot new dining concept in Cincinnati. The dishes were fresh and unique, and the flavors were perfectly balanced and complimentary. Making it even more enjoyable.dining at the Chef's table! Watching the dishes masterfully prepared while engaging the fun personalities of Derek and Jeffrey turned this into a memorable affair. You HAVE to experience this! You will not be disappointed!
Very disappointed in my recent visit to Parts and Labor. I ordered the "smoked brisket sando" expecting a flavorful sandwich that would at least be satisfying given the cost of $15. What I received was a plain bun that had little to no meat. There were a few small pieces of meat, but even those were either char or fatty edges that were not edible. 90 percent of the sandwich was the picked zucchini and brussle sprout slaw. Luckily my wife had gotten a pizza from one of the other in the oakly food kitchen so I was still able to eat dinner that night. I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 based solely on the workers and the ordering system. I would consider trying other menu items here based on the employees being kind and friendly alone, just absolutely avoid the smoked brisket sando.it is absolutely not worth the price
Banging bbq sauce on the Korean ribs. Cucumber salad was sooo good. Ribs weren’t as tender as I’d like but still worth going back.
