These people are Great!

Patrick in particular took extra time from his day to uncomplicate some new territory that I am navigating on behalf of my family!

Helpful and trustworthy. Thank you!

Parthways Financial Credit Union and Pat Meyer are head and shoulders above any competitive bank or credit union out there, and it is all because their customer service is OUTSTANDING and they LISTEN. Pat has been handling our business accounts and our family’s personal accounts for years, and Pat goes way beyond what others have done in the past. Pat has provided us his own personal cell phone number, and when Pat is not working or on vacation, he is still working and available, as he will take my call any time and anywhere and make sure what needs done is done in a timely manner. Pat treats everyone of our accounts as if they are his personal accounts.and that is pretty special.

In addition to being available all the time, PFCU will listen to your needs and sometimes provide a product they maybe did not offer. I remember asking them if they have Health Savings Accounts, and when I made the request, they did not, but a week later, I signed up for a HSA. It’s because they listen to your needs and react to what you want that makes them so special.

If you want a special banking relationship, try Pathways Financial Credit Union and ask for Pat Meyer.you won’t be disappointed. Pat is “The Best”!

Patrick is a wonderful attribute to Pathways. I would recommend all my family and friends as this bank has that personal feel that is missing from corporate banks. I love it!

The best comparison I can think of for Pathways is the tv show Cheers. You are greeted with a smile and everyone knows your name. Literally the easiest banking I have ever done. You always get to speak with a person who will go above and beyond to help you. Beyond the normal checking/saving accounts I have refinanced my house and a loan for my car that even the car dealer told me to go with Pathways since he could not even come close to the low interest rate. It is also a great place for kids to open up their first account. They give that extra personal touch that the big banks cannot compete with.

My English is not the best and the teller was very helpful in translating and was very fast at answering my questions. I would most definitely recommend this institution to others!

I refinanced my pathways loan to another institution. I was told I would not get charged the mortgage payment for this month. I then transferred some money out of my account to pay off a student loan. The money appeared in my external checking account for 2 days. In that time I paid the student loan. Then pathways took the money I had transferred out of the external account without my permission after it had been in there for two days. It turns out they charged me a mortgage payment despite the fact that when I log in, the mortgage shows paid in full. Pathways had no right to pull money out of my external bank account after it had been in there for two days. They should have called me. I will be closing my account and will never work with a bank that will pull money out of an external account without permission to cover a mistake they made on their end!

Every single time I call to ask about my account I have to endure a condescending and irritable customer service rep. It's not just one person either; all of them seem miserable. Poor company culture.

Thank you Pathways for helping me understand and sign up for my health savings account. Once I learned how easy the process was I immediately got registered. You get a debit card to use for doctor visits, prescriptions, etc.making it nice that you can have a separate account for those types of expenses.

I really thought working with a community bank or credit union would be better than a conventional bank which in my opinion legally robs its customers and charges fees for everything. Nope! It's more of the same, plus less services and technology. I deposited several thousand dollars on the bank put the check on a 2 day hold. However i wasn't notified there was a hold. Using my account without being aware of a hold items came through and fees were assessed. When I spoke with the bank they gave me lip service. In addition, i can't deposit money using their atm and there's no remote deposit available. Very disappointed in the service received given we have personal and business accounts with them.

We've been customers of Members 1st for the past 6 years. Unlike the traditional banks, Members 1st treats their customers with appreciation. We are loyal to Members 1st.

I refinanced my car loan with Members First Credit Union and my interest rate dropped 1.25% from a rate I felt proud bragging about a year and a half ago when I bought the car. I can't say enough about Members First Credit Union, they are a small bank with the type of excellent service that beats any of the large banks. Thanks Members First!

I'm a deaf and hard of hearing individual and I can talk and hear on the phone I told the people that I'm deaf and hard of hearing after asking if they would be open for a few mins after hours bc grandview Mail doesn't get mail till the time this bank closes. After asking they hung up on me. What did I do to deserve such disrespect. This place is a thumbs down have no respect for deaf people either.

This is the first negative review I have ever written online. I'm not impressed with Pathways/Members First because:

1. Their ATM won't accept deposits, which seems ridiculous in this day and age. It also restricts one's ability to deposit checks to business hours, which are generally my work hours. It's a pain.
2. They won't allow automatic withdrawals, for example, to pay insurance premiums. This means the auto-pay discount is not available.
3. If you're out of town and need to pull money from a credit card to put into your checking account, Pathways does not allow it to be done by phone (like every other bank and credit union I've worked with). That means you have to find one of their "partner" credit unions to do the transaction. Regular banks won't handle it unless it's that bank's credit card. This happened to me while in Washington DC, and I visited 3 credit unions - none of them were in the network with Pathways. I called the credit union so they could direct me to a fourth credit union that would, finally, help me. Naturally, I had to pay them a fee for handling the transaction. Then the deposit wouldn't go through. We had to call Pathways again - it turned out a computer glitch on their end was the problem. They did waive the NSF fees incurred because of all this, but it took an entire afternoon of my time. This was a work trip, and it really caused a problem with my schedule.
4. The individuals who work there seem nice enough, but that doesn't begin to offset the annoying, hassle-creating policies.

I'm probably going to switch my account over to another CU soon. Hope this helped someone.
