Patron Saint Cafe + Bar reviews
19We had our engagement party here and I couldn’t recommend enough for anyone looking for a private event. Although Marie gave us the option to decorate, there was no need as the venue vibe is elite as is. The catering menu was incredible and we received so many compliments on picking such a unique and classy location.
Absolutely fantastic. Everything is wonderful on every level of execution. The food is fresh, inventive and utterly delicious. The staff is friendly, inviting and efficient. This is everything a restaurant should be and more.
I recently hosted my baby shower at Patron Saint, and it was an absolute delight! The Sunday event was flawlessly executed with a fantastic buffet-style spread that left my guests raving about the delicious food. The addition of a skilled bartender ensured that drinks flowed smoothly throughout the celebration.
The ambiance was perfect, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for my guests to enjoy. I appreciated the attention to detail in the music selection, enhancing the overall experience. What's truly impressive is that all of this came at a reasonable price.
Parking was a breeze, thanks to the conveniently located lots and garages nearby, making it hassle-free for everyone attending. Marie, the owner, played a pivotal role in ensuring everything went smoothly. Her commitment to providing top-notch service and accommodations truly sets Patron Saint apart.
I highly recommend Patron Saint for anyone looking to host a Sunday event, whether it's a wedding shower, baby shower, or any special occasion. Marie and her team exceeded my expectations, and I'm grateful for the memorable experience they helped create.
Great cafe. The food is excellent, haven't had anything but excellent dishes. Just keep in mind they are generally small plate style items however you can easily make a meal out of a few if you aren't sharing. I know because I've done it many times. The meatballs are probably the best in the city. Order what sounds good, you are unlikely to miss.
The menu has a nice variety, something that should appeal to everyone and changes enough to keep things interesting.
Drinks, both alcoholic and coffee are always well-made with some creative stuff.
My only complaint is their hours, I understand what they're going for but not being opened on the weekend just seems to be a huge misses opportunity.
I came in today (Thursday 9/28) for some food after a really hard thing that just happened. It was written all over my face. Couldn’t hide it. My server and her manager were so incredibly kind when they didn’t need to be. I wish I got their names. The food at this restaurant is really good and innovative with tasty vegetarian options, and the people who work here are down to earth, very cool people.
Chill spot, good vibes, would recommend.
A really wonderful place to stop for a break during the work day also gluten-free free options for those who need that option
This small café/ bistro has a good location, pleasant atmosphere and seems very successful. There is imagination and quality in the menu but some prices are just too high (such as the pastry which is well above what you get in Paris!).
Perfect place to have my baby shower!
The Patron Saint team made it super easy from the start and took away a lot of the stress that is involved in planning an event. The staff created a special food/drink menu with our input in mind. Every dish had a unique twist and was so delicious! We had to go back for seconds. The drink selection was perfect and had something for everyone. I especially enjoyed my mocktails and latte throughout the day.
The service was amazing throughout the event. The staff made awesome recommendations and really made it easy for us to enjoy the event with our loved ones.
What a lovely venue for a baby shower! Thank you, Marie, for putting together such an amazing event. Everyone had a wonderful time! Can’t wait to come back!
Absolutely loved the food and atmosphere. Cocktails were excellent also. Not crazy about the mobile online ordering system. I can deal but my older guests struggled. There was no reason why the server could not verbally take an order but that's just how it works here. Hospitality marks are lacking - especially when you are in a dilemma to tip or not tip.
Absolutely wonderful place. Great service food and cocktails. Super chill and comfortable atmosphere! Amazing job
This is such a sweet little gem on Detroit Ave. The bartender was very welcoming and informative on the dining process. Our server was great and the ordering experience was super easy and convenient. The broccoli melt was amazing and the olive oil cake was to die for. If you are in the area, you have to stop in and grab a seat!
If you want a euro summer but don’t want to buy a plane ticket just come here. Pretty sure I teleported to the amalfi coast for 2 hours. For really though the spritzes were just ridiculously good and the snacks blew my mind
What a cool place! Different everything and a little something for all food styles. Vegan, vegetarians and meatatarians too. We loved the croissants and the pistachio butter with mandarin jelly! We also had a cold brew that was classic. Order online technology but service that's old school. Quick and personable. We loved the people watching and all the natural light.
The design and ascetic here are top notch and spot on. As is service, flavor, and execution. I left satiated with a renewed sense of excitement for the Cleveland food scene. Id call patron saint an outlier in the current cle food and dining scene. Run — dont walk. Thank you to the crew.
Had an amazing lunch here. The decor is beautiful and everything we ate was delicious! Lots of seating options available!
Our group came for brunch around 11: 30 on a Saturday morning. The ingredients in the dishes were high quality, which was the foundation for a delicious meal. We ordered the bass crudo, to start, which was fresh, bright, and salty from the pesto-like sauce. The meatballs were smoky in a creamy sauce served over a both crispy and smooth polenta. Asparagus and onions added citrus. The olive cake was rich and dense with sweet frosting glaze and sour, juicy raspberries. The cafe has a great drink menu with plenty of coffee options in addition to refreshing cocktails, beer and wine.
The atmosphere was bright and clean, with booths, tables, a counter along the front window, and a bar.
Our server was friendly. You place your order and pay through a QR code, which allows you to control the pace of the meal.
Overall, we highly enjoyed our experience and will return.
The food was excellent. We loved the roasted carrots. We shared pretty much everything on the menu! We sat at the window counter after the staff encouraged patrons to move in closer together to free up some seats. It's a beautiful location but seats and parking are limited.
I also love the vegetarian/vegan options!
Was incredibly impressed with the beautiful repurposed space. The energy is humming. The food is unique and amaxingly tadty. The service eas friendly and fun. A must see.
