A hidden gem PERFECT for a fall or winter engagement session! Pearson Park is an absolute gem in the area and is one of my favorite, if not my favorite, spots in all of Northwest Ohio for engagement photos! It's a great spot for a small ceremony and portraits as well. The fields, water, and foliage make it picture-perfect.

Beautiful park in the Black Swomp in Oregon Ohio. Nice walking trails for hiking and bike riding. Ponds to fish or paddle rentals and wildlife. Great place for weddings.

I've been coming to this park for 15 years. It is always well maintained. The kids area is great for the little ones. Alot of fun stuff to do at this park, summer or winter.

Visited the park where we used to picnic in with family and friends. Nice to see if it is being kept up and is clean for the community.

Wonderful park with lots to do. Hidden gem that we found on our family get away. Places to fish, picnic, playgrounds etc. Beautiful area.

If you take the trails on the perimeter of the park, expect loud traffic noise especially on the Navarre Avenue side (DUH! LOL!). Obviously not a big deal if you're one to use earbuds, however, I prefer the sound of nature. Guess I'll have to stick to Wildwood.

Pearson is a good Metropark for visiting a park with kids. There are playgrounds and a pond. It seems like a family gathering park more than a walking park. There are walking and bicycle trails, but they're shorter than I like. I have no serious complaints about Pearson. When considering Metroparks, I just like Wildwood better for its size and versatility.

Very lovely clean and well kept up park still amazing like I remember it being as a kid. No paddle boats anymore though. But overall amazing now fair warning to all who go there my 9 year old claims there are bears mountain lions monkeys and alligators in the trees when your walking the OHIO park trails so make sure you becareful out there only thing that made me fear for my life was the swarms of mosquitos on the walking trail my god I looked like I was beaten with a sack of nickles meanwhile my husband didn't get a single bite so the mosquitos do discriminate against blonde hair blue eyed people. So don't walk alone you will get jumped by them. The one mosquito I heard his friend call him tito the mosquito that MF tried snatching my purse smh ruthless. But other than that wonderful day at the park.

Park should be cleaned up better. Wetlands is supposed to be across the street not at the park. Bugs are out of control. The park should be sprayed. Literally donated a pint of blood due to the miserable swarm of mosquitos from start to finish. I had great memories as a child going to this park, not anymore. All the sitting water and tall weed grasses make it happy for insects not patrons. Pathway was slightly slippery due to the moss.

Best Park in the area, extremely family and children friendly. And the window on wildlife is a nice place to relax and take in nature.

Very nice little family park. But I definitely would suggest that you choose a pavilion near the one restroom per 52 square miles that's there.

Great place for kids only thing I can think of that's missing is a nice big splash pad for the kids. We always have big family BBQ's here.

This has been my favorite park since I was a kid. I just walked the new trails on Starr Ave for the first time and really liked it!

Park was very clean. Lots of rides for grown ups and a marvelous playground for the children. Picnic tables and grills, tennis courts and a few ball fields. Great place to spend the day with the family.

Very nice and clean park with lots of trails. Plenty of grills and lots of shelters spread throughout the park. Also, they have paddle boats for up to 4 people to ride in and a nice size playground.
