Penn Station East Coast Subs reviews
17Wish I could give this place a zero star review. Tall blonde girl was the worst, on the phone or in person. Save your time and money, go to Jersey Mike's, Westgate.
Purchased 3 sandwiches Friday night for coworkers and myself at about 8ish. All 3 were wrong the receipts had the correct info, the receipts were put on the wrong sandwiches and none of them contained what was asked for are even printed. I feel like this had to be on purpose. How do you not get one right when the label is right there. He gave us what he felt like making I guess. Couldn't return since lunch is only 30 min. If the goal was to get us not to return there, it worked.
The world has come to a place where even when you’re simply buying a medium fry, you’re asked to donate to some random organization.at first you think, if i say no am i going to be judged? Ah yes, a series of guilt tripping by even fast food chains like this one continuing to grow like fungus.luckily for me, i could careless.i have no clue if the money is really even going to them in the first place.i mean think about it folks, if we stood firm and denied this modern day begging for tips and donations, perhaps we could focus on more important things.lastly, i noticed the guy at the register touching money, the screen, etc etc then turn around and begin preparing a sub for someone without putting on gloves.there should be a separate handler for preparing, not the register boy.
The sandwich was very good. The first time I'd eaten at Penn Station. I'd recommend it. I got the grilled Italian.
The last 2 visits here have been disappointing. The sandwich has been bland with no taste. The customer service the last time earlier this week was good, but on previous visits they've been uninterested in waiting on customers. There's always a wait, even if I'm in there with just one other customer. No one smiles and they look like they'd rather be anywhere else. And please stop mumbling! No one knows what you are saying.
My kids went in here to grab some lunch after school and they were refused service. I had to leave work early to come and get them lunch, the manager explained to me that they have a rule that only allows kids to purchase subs if they have a parent with them. I know the dollar tree nearby only allows 5 students in at a time, probably for a similar reason as to why this rule exists at Penn station, but I still think it's ridiculous! Refusing service to customers based on their age! Food is a necessity and both parties benefit in the end. Customer gets the sandwich, store gets the money. For being one of the only restaurants near a middle school, I think they're just losing business at that point. I certainly won't be eating here anymore!
Guy named Tyre took our order, made us both feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable by how he spoke to us. He seemed to make a new employee make all the food also. Food was bangin though gj new guy.
Don’t greet you when you walk in, sat here for 10 minutes waiting to order while the employees slowly moved around with no sense of urgency, two or three people walked in after me also not greeted and then we all just kind of awkwardly stood there till I finally just left
I’d suggest having workers not wear AirPods. Maybe they would then give you an ounce of attention when you walk into the store to place an order. I ordered turkey, lettuce, and cheese on my sandwich and the sandwich came with just turkey. When I went up for the cheese and lettuce, I just got stared at. Seems like all the Penn stations are truly lacking around the area except Avon. North Olmsted is just as bad as Rocky river now.
Best penn station I’ve been to and there is a lot of them in north eat Ohio! Great quality of food and the costumer service is always welcoming and kind!
Omg omg best cheesesteaks I everrrrrrrrrr had the customer service the best I have had in awhile thank you rocky river penn station I definitely will be back
Dirty. Get the order right. Not rocket science. Don't use gloves to cook and man register at same time. Lethargic employees.
Terrible service - order incorrect, fries dry and old. This is not normally how Penn Station does food. Not a smile or thank you from staff.
I've always had a great experience at this store! Food is always on point and just the way I ask. Store is clean and Alexis and Morgan always are so friendly. I've gotten lots of party trays from here an have never been disappointed
By far the best penn station I’ve EVER been to. The workers are some of the NICEST people I have ever came across in my life. They can cook. A FIREEEEE cheesesteak fries are cooked in peanut oil, ugh just so delicious. 10/10 would recommend! I WILL BE BACK FOR MORE CHEESESTEAKS
The food is made when you order, but plan on spending some time waiting for it. Everytime I've been there recently before lunch (about 11: 30am) nobody seems to hurrying so you'll be waiting 10-15min.
Staff were masked. Barriers in place between customers and staff. Available hand sanitizer. Only issue was one staff member's mask was below his nose and another was putting his mask back on (away from the food) when we walked in.
