Perfect Alterations, Columbus OH

The pictures speak for themselves but I picked my wedding dress up 3 weeks before my wedding and ended up having to take it into a different seamstress to do a rush job right before the holidays to fix all the things that this company did to it. As you can see she sewed bra pads into the dress for me but made stitches through the top later of the gown so there’s very obvious stitching on the outside of my gown around the bust. The cups were not even a little bit even and when I asked her about that she said it was my fault because I was probably moving while she was pinning it. And then lastly I asked her for the most basic bustle, I knew it couldn’t be that complicated because the dress was only two layers but she decided to place the hook and eye on the outermost layer of the dress (which is already not how bustles work) and then decided without consulting me to try to cover it up by stitching an embroidered embellishment and several pearls over top of the hook and eye. So I had a snowflake right below my buttcrack that I did not ask for, on an otherwise very simple dress with no other embellishments on it. I was clearly upset with the choices she made when I felt that the things I asked for were pretty simple to begin with, but the team made no effort to make things right and I had to pay full price of $185 to her and then take it to a different seamstress and pay even more to have them fix it all.

I had my wedding dress altered and they did a beautiful, perfect job in a short amount of time (less than a month)! This was in early 2021 when all businesses were reeling from the pandemic and trying to keep up with a resurge in business. They worked with me to create a bustle, add sleeves, and take in the bust area. They did all that even though I didn't realize I had to make an appointment. I showed up and they still fit me in, because they were understanding that I was in a dire situation. They have the utmost customer care and professionalism. I will always use them!

The seamstress was extremely kind. Unfortunately, I couldn't use their service. I will definitely use them in the future.

Perfect Alterations did an AMAZING job with my bridesmaid dress! I recently had a baby and was unsure of my size. As a result, the dress I ordered was about 2-3 sizes too small. Thankfully, Perfect Alterations was able to work with the dress and make some major alterations to the back so it would fit me in time for the wedding. Not only does the dress fit, but the changes to the back of the dress look even better than the original design! I am so impressed and happy with the work they did. I needed my dress altered in a very short time! (Less than a week!) Nancy thankfully agreed to shorten the length, adjust the bust, and slit of the dress, and even hand stitched some lace around the dress to add to its simplicity! I decided to come back a year later to get my dress altered and they did another great job for the price! It looked great and was very reasonable. I brought 2 dresses in about 2 weeks ago - 1 for my best friends wedding that unfortunately fit smaller than expected. Nancy worked her absolute magic and was able to completely fix both of the dresses that needed alterations. The bridesmaid dress must have been tricky but she worked her magic and it fits like a glove - and even sooner than anticipated!
