The young man at the register with the beard was and always is amazingly helpful and kind makes it comfortable going in also it's clean and all staff are friendly.just need little more cat items! Toys etc but great place!

UPDATE: Still my go to for pet products. Many store do not carry much for small animals, like guinea pigs. Lots to choose from. Suprisingly I have seem much higher prices ehen buying bedding.
Good variety of products. Nice staff. Wonderful small animals in need of homes. We adopted 2 guinea pigs and a dwarf hamster.

My dog and I were acknowledged as soon as we walked in the door and the service we were provided was amazing. The staff was very friendly

Very pleased with the grooming service provided by Amber and Ivan. They were able to clip our dog's nails better than anybody else we've had try, and he came back clean and happy. These groomers are a great asset to Petco.

While I dislike supporting pet stores due to their uneithical practices, I went in to get some insects for my reptile. I had an employee approach me while I was shopping about some vital care subscription, which was $9.99 a month. I politely told her I wasn’t interested and she rudely said, “you can’t even do $9 a month? ”. Very unprofessional and rude of an employee trying to pressure someone to join their program in such a way. An employee judging a customers finances is NOT okay.

Everyone here is always so nice. They are super helpful. The Store is always clean. If you need help finding something an associate will come up and help you find your way. They will give great advice for your pet.

Very disappointed in grooming services for my dog. I specifically asked if nails were trimmed and told yes. Got home and upon further inspection, realized they only trimmed nails on one side of her body. They also only trimmed up one side of her face. Whatever they shampooed her with made her itch like crazy and I had to rebathe her to try and get the itching to stop. I cancelled the appt I had for my other dog because this was the most horrible grooming service I’ve ever seen.

Had everything a person would need who has a dog almost, but what I was looking for. Which was a outdoor portable fence. Everything was expensive.

Just spent 20 minutes waiting on someone to help with saltwater fish. No one came. My daughter had to use the bathroom and the lights did not work so had to use my phone so she could use the bathroom.

I had a grooming appointment at 8am today. I get there at 7: 55, I can see that the store is closed but there are lights on in the grooming section. The doors are locked and I can’t get in. Maybe they won’t let me in until 8am. Out of nowhere it starts pouring with thunder and lightning and Akuma (my dog) and I are soaked within seconds. Akuma is terrified of lightning and is whining and jumping on the door trying to get in. I call at 8: 02 and nobody answers. By 8: 05 I was about to just leave when two employees showed up and let us in. They say “we’ll have to see if a groomer is scheduled today” and I said “I have an appointment for 8am” so they told me to go in the waiting area. After a few minutes, one employee comes to let me know that the groomer isn’t scheduled until 9am, and that she will have him call me when he comes in. So I go to leave and Akuma is so scared to go back outside that I have to pick her up and carry her to the car. So I’m currently waiting for this call just so I can let them know that I will not be rescheduling and that I will no longer shop at Petco (I buy all of Akumas food and toys there). Would give zero stars if I could.

We were looking for a spill-proof water bowl for traveling with our fur babies. We couldn't find them, so asked an employee and she was so helpful taking us right to where they were! Very friendly crew!

They were the closest store that had replacement dog crate trays in stock. I took my crate with me and found the one I thought would fit, saleslady waited until I set the crate up and we made sure it fit. I bought the tray. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. Looked to very well stocked on most all of your pet needs. I will return in the future.

Tried to buy a goldfish for my nephew and they told me I couldn’t buy one because my tank was not big enough… apparently needed a 20 gal tank for one fish. Well my sister has a over 20 gal tank she doesn’t use, so I was just gonna use that. I told the worker that and she said “well I can’t sell you the fish cause I’m not sure you have the tank”.
Wth… it’s a goldfish…

Larger selection of moist cat food. Very little of the processed junk from large pet food names like Purina and such, which is very good! Great choices in cat litter also, except for PrettyLitter. If they carried this excellent brand, would rate Petco even higher.

I went to get a couple of fish for my 3.5 gal.tank. I walked into the fish area and there was an older gentleman working. I told him the size of tank I have and instantly he told me none of the fish I was looking at would survive and he recommended a Beta. It was the tone he used and his attitude. Yea ended up
leaving and didn’t buy anything

Now usually Petco is known for having bad knowledge on pets when it comes to things like lizards and aquatic life but when it comes to this petco its the nicest pecto I have ever seen.

RUDE RUDE RUDE! I returned some fish that had died in my PERFECT CYCLED tank and the guy with the fluffy hair and mustache was VERY rude to me saying he wouldn’t take them back because I got my water tested elsewhere even though I brought proof of my perfect water parameters. He had attitude and treated me with complete disrespect. My sister had the same experience when she went here for different reasons. This is definitely the place to go if you want to experience being treated poorly. I DO NOT recommend.

Will not be back for grooming services. My dogs were not brushed out, nor fully dried. I brushed them that night and my girl golden retriever had mats under her front arms, like armpit if you will, areas. Had to cut out. My male had a vet appt.the next day and they noticed in fact not all nails were trimmed so I had to pay an additional fee at my vets, when I thought that was all done at the bath appointment + feet face fanny package. Very hard to checkout, when asked to get the app, and then the glitches it had and it logged me out, then wouldn’t let me log in, and then I had two separate accounts. Just seemed very chaotic and NOT good services. My dogs are pretty well behaved, gentle and let me do bath and blow drying, nail trimming, teeth cleaning and clippers at home. I thought this would be nice to not have to do the work myself but apparently not.

Been here numerous times. Maily looking at fish and the girl working in the aquarium area seems very knowledgeable about fish keeping. Always greeted with smile while checking out.

I would do zero stars if possible. A manager told me several months ago that he would order 4 extra bags of a certain dog food monthly, for me. Everytime I go, they are out! If it's in such high demand, why not order more? Business 101.supply and demand.
