Money hungry and uncaring, not knowledgeable. For anyone reading reviews and want a good veterinarian, Feeder Creek in Millersport!

This place was wonderful to us during a very tough spot in our life. When losing a pet feels just as bad as losing a family member. Bogey was one of the best. This office and the Veterinarian that took on the task of helping our handsome boy cross that rainbow bridge were amazing. They carried out all of our wishes during the process of letting him go. The care that was provided and the sympathy, along with staying professional was well worth what was asked of us, actually probably worth more. Thank you to each of you.

We came to Petplex on one of the worst days of our lives. The emergency vet presented all the labs and imaging for us and helped us understand what was happening with our dog. It’s still so painful we had to say goodbye to our sweet senior dog when cancer took her, but the vet and staff are prepared, competent and very kind and compassionate. We appreciate their help and support that awful day.

Unacceptable practices for a so-called "hospital. " They actually turned my dog away, claiming his health issue was not an emergency. First, they wanted a $160 deposit to secure his appt (appt for an emergency situation, really!?), then the receptionist checked with the ONE vet working, got back on the phone and told me that the vet refused to see my dog, as he didn't consider it a life-threatening illness. She then referred me to Med Vet which is over an hour away.

I've been seeing Dr Mestemaker at Petplex for over 10 years, and if I didn't value her care so much, I would honestly find another vet for my dog.

Petplex used to care about animals. No integrity anymore, no care for sick or dying pets. GO ELSEWHERE!

PetPlex is an amazing, caring, affordable place. My 5 month old kitten was lethargic and not eating or drinking. When MedVet and another animal hospital couldn’t figure out what was wrong, PetPlex suggested emergency exploratory surgery the first appointment. Unfortunately, for our baby, the surgery they did to repair what was wrong wasn’t enough. It was enough for her to spend 5-6 days in their care and return home to us for about 5 days. It started out well but ended up the same way it began. She ended up losing almost two pounds in two weeks. The surgery we thought she needed to save her life wasn’t enough. Our sweet kitty had to cross the rainbow bridge on 10/8/22. I had never had to put an animal to sleep before and PetPlex was very helpful in the decision and very compassionate when I chose not to leave Nala’s side for the whole thing. I stayed well past her last breath and well past their closing hours that day and didn’t feel rushed whatsoever. I’ve been to many vets and animal hospitals in my life and so many are about the money but not PetPlex and the place that cremated her went above and beyond. Thank you all so much for making one of the worst decisions of my life a little easier. I am forever grateful. I will never take my animals anywhere else.

If you are Hispanic, don't even book here.
They had us waiting for an appointment 1.5 week.
I came 15minutes before the appointment and waited 1hr.
Then I asked and they told me to wait an additional 1.5hr which I ask for a reschedule. They then inform me it would take 1 month (my dog would be dead by then!)
Unreasonable!

After picking up our dogs medication from our new vet I am actually livid. They were able to supply me 100 of my dogs seizure pills for $22. At PetPlex they were closer $60-$70 if not more. I’m interested to see what his allergy medication will cost seeing how we have been paying $160. They would tell us that our pets had fleas if we ever told them they weren’t on flea prevention even if they were and DID NOT have fleas. Pretty shady way to make a profit. We switched because they refused to refill our dogs meds without blood work but couldn’t get him sooner because their staff was in the Sweet Corn parade. Life saving medication had to wait for that lol and now knowing how over priced said medication was.gross.

We had an amazing experience at Pet Plex. Dr. Edge and the tech (I wish I knew her name) were amazing. My 14 year old dog Lola dislocated her hip and was unable to walk. I was very hesitant to take her to Pet Plex as I was concerned about the expense (more on that later), but after being referred there by my primary vet I knew I had to get her help. They were able to get her in to be seen after hours. I was warmly greeted and the staff brought out a gurnee for Lola to be safety brought into the facility. The procedure and costs were explained to me and Lola was quickly taken back for her procedure. After it was finished Dr. Edge seemed very eager to let me know the procedure was a success and then throughly explained care instructions.

I was shocked at the low cost of the procedure. When I had originally called to inquire about services, before begging my vet to see us, I was a little put off by the method in which they explain the costs on the phone. They explained the tests they would likely run, costs of X-rays, in addition to the emergency fee. I was expecting a $700 bill just to walk in the door before any actual treatments were performed. The experience over the phone felt more like a profit driven business and less like a care driven business. The costs ended up being much lower than I expected. This could also be due to the fact that they didn’t need to diagnose the problem as my vet already had, but I am not sure. I definitely like that they want patients to know what to expect but for some reason it is a little off putting. I understand the fee to be seen for an emergency visit needs to be pain up front as that prevents no-shows and wasted time for the vets and staff. I am not sure how to better the fee explaining but I am sure it is a deterrent for others. When I looked at the fees at Pet Plex compared to our regular veterinarian, there was a negligible difference besides the emergency visit fee versus a regular visit fee. Which is understandable.

I would definitely not hesitate to take Lola back to Pet Plex in the future. The costs are extremely reasonable and they do care about our furry friends. Lola received exceptional care that felt very much like going to our small town vet. Thank you so much Dr. Edge the the wonderful tech Saturday evening.

I'd give this place 0 stars if I could! I blame this place for my cat sebastian dying. All we had was around $300 at the time and that's what they charged to send my son home with stool softer and another medicine. He hadn't eaten or drank in days and was lethargic. I have taken cats to the vets for nothing to do with dehydration and they fill them with fluids by injecting fluids in their scruff of the neck. This place just took our money and sent him home to die. I wish this trash place could be shut down! I've heard so many stories just like mine about this place!

Always booked out for weeks for regular appointments, at least that’s what they tell you… otherwise you pay the emergency $160 to get your pet seen. They want your money, it’s not about the care. Unfortunately, they have taken plenty of mine. I guess I originally was naïve, giving them the benefit.

Extremely impressed with this emergency clinic. Very professional, we went in on Labor Day evening for our dog that had emesis and diarrhea for 24 hours. The team listened to our dogs scenario, explained on-call emergent costs ($165) and we were able to get an appt.within an hour for our dog to be seen. My husband walked in, staff were friendly, concerned and very attentive. My husband was back home in an hour. And we live 10 min away. Compared to MedVet, the cost was half for same exact testing. And compared to my emergent equine vet costs, still less than an emergent on-call visit fee ($200.) The clinic emailed all records to our vet the next day. Seamless, professional and upfront! Thank you!

Our regular vet couldn't get us in for a while and we were in need of quick help. So we called around and contacted PetPlex they told us to bring her in the very next day. My wife did take her in and everybody was so helpful, professional, and all around great group of people. They made what was the hardest visit to go through as comforting as anyone possibly could for the owner and pet. This was our first experience with this hospital but it definitely won't be our last.

A great place to take your pets! I have used them recently when we needed to spay a kitty, and they had quick appointments. The entire thing was convenient for us AND safe for our kitty. They even called a week later to check in, which I appreciate! They're an awesome service.

They have always been so good with our dogs. Very patient and loving. Even when we have to put one down, which we have had 2 within 6 months due to cancer. We love this place. Thank you all!

Our Joey fell down the back steps and broke her back leg, I live in Zanesville and would not be seen by our normal vet here in a emergency after 12 years of going to them. Joey was large dog and near the end of her life. She also had many other health issues. The staff had a emergency but let us know they would be right there and we understood. They gave us options on treatments and the choice of euthanasia, it was not a easy but the Vet gave us facts we needed to make the decision. They showed compassion and let us have as much time as we need with our beloved Joey. The tech who even had to come in and talk with us about after the process was very nice and compassionate. Even though it was our first time there they treated us as if we has been there 12 years. It was a horrible day for us but they understood. We left and talked about how amazing the staff was, and they took care of us and Joey. A couple days passed and we got a card from the staff they all had signed. WOW is all I can say. Even when we came back to get her remains they said we are so very sorry for your loss. Such a great team at PetPlex. The words Thank you are not enough.

Dr. Sollenberger was fantastic! He saved our dog from amputation with a unique injury, which required emergency surgery. He and his staff who cared for our pup throughout were incredible. 5 stars for them! However, the front desk/assistants on the phone gave some of the worst customer service experience i’ve had in some time. Almost like they were clueless. But again, once we entered the building and met with the vets, they were incredible!

I was a long-time customer with them for 10+ years, but unfortunately their business has declined considerably these past few years. Between the cold, empty rooms, the inability to be there to comfort our pets in person, and poor handling by the staff, it created a stressful environment that put our pets under great duress. I will no longer be conducting any business with them. Avoid this place if you care about your pets' well-being.

Amazing! They love my pets as much as I do. Affordable and convenient appointments. Right in Buckeye Lake near my home and easy process for drop off and pick up for boarding, grooming, or post op. Very happy!

Overall love the place for regular checkups and emergency visits if needed. The staff is amazing however what's NOT amazing is they try and force you to use their online pharmacy and not one of your own choosing.will not be back over this.
