PetSmart, Toledo OH

They refused to let me see a cat that was there for adoption. They said, a cat can only be seen with the sellers present "pitcrew" However there is a sign, that says, handling guidelines for customer, in case you want to adopt them. There is absolutely no sign whatsoever that says " customers are not allowed see or handle cats, unless Pitcrew is present or with theirapproval" I never had this happen before. When asked for district managers card, they refuse to give it to me.
Absolutely unacceptable. U'd think they'd be happy someone is there interested in a kitten to be adopted and would welcome them. The kittens are inside PetStore.
Corporate will be contacted, there is obviously a reason they didn't give me any information on the district manager.

My favorite place for pet supplies. The staff are so helpful and knowledgeable. My furr babies and I say "thanks so much".

They will have everything you need for your fur baby. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Prices are great and you can save a lot of money if you are a frequent shopper there!

Staff is always friendly and the store always seems clean at this location. 1 star deduction not for the staff but the company's software. It doesn't seem to update when sales happen. So you may get charged the original price. If you catch it, the staff will correct it for you.

Went to pick up some dog food. They always have a good stock of dog food and staff is usually very helpful and friendly.

I just got to say we just took our dog Lolly to the PetSmart on Monroe Street to have her nails clipped I have never seen nails done that way before and I was highly impressed on how quick and a good job they did they were very professional and I could tell they were highly trained we will be back to have our dog groomed and a new place to take care of her thank you to the staff

I went for gerbils and gerbil cages. I found two cute gerbils and a cage called tiny tales. It's expandable. So I bought this cage and the gerbils started chewing. I bought more cages and expanded it to three with a bunch of tunnels. They are shredding 350 dollars worth of cages. They don't actually sell a cage that is suitable for gerbils chewing. So, if ur buying a gerbil do not buy plastic they will chew right threw it.

Worst Petsmart in the city. Customer service is awful and the employees are rude. They refused to sell me fish for my 10 year old daughters aquarium. Save your time and go somewhere else.

Can only speak to shopping visits for a puppy/dog. I always find what I need. Large section of food, canned and dry. My last 2 visits resulted in 2 different employees approaching me politely and bring quite knowledgeable. Employees working for most large businesses aren't this helpful and knowledgeable, so the pattern here is something PetSmart should be acknowledged for. That and the employees likely being animal lovers probably helps,

Great place to get all the you need for your pet whether it's a dog cat rabbit Guinea pig et cetera. Definitely gonna keep going back to this store whenever I need something for my family's pets.

Doing a web order from out of state, I strategically picked this location since it was on the way to the shelter. It was my first time in Ohio, let alone Monroe.

The items I selected were waiting for me. I was able to upgrade to a larger crate and bed in anticipation for our new pup and returned the web order without any issues. Being a National chain, your able to return to any PetSmart of unopened food / treats which was helpful along the way back home. Appreciative to the those who helped me at every PetSmart I’ve stepped into.

I watched one of the grooming staff working on another dog as I waited to drop off my dog. The individual was acting really inconvenienced by this very small dog while it was just whining a little bit as most dogs do while they get groomed. She then gave up on trying to cut the dogs nails saying the dog was being difficult. Later on when I picked up my dog her nails were not cut and the excuse was that she tried to “bite” the groomer which had never been an issue prior. Had I not seen the staffs behavior prior I may have believed this excuse as dogs can do unexpected things when they are anxious. She was also supposed to be bathed but smelled just the same as when I dropped her off if not worse. I have used this exact service before so I know what a regular grooming service looks and smells like. I still payed for the full groom that included a nail trim. I guess its a hit or miss depending on who is doing the grooming whether your dog will get what they need done or not.

PetSmart on Monroe Street is awesome the workers there are always friendly always willing to help you find something if you can't find it I love that location

Never a problem always find what I need what I like with the exception of those large red-bellied worms for the turtle other than that things are good stay safe

My fiancé and I went in to buy crickets and mealworms for our leopard gecko. We went in and discovered they didn’t have mealworms, which is fine because they had crickets. The lady who helped us was very rude when we asked if we could get some crickets bagged. She had a negative attitude. Disappointed and from now on we will just be going to the Holland location.

Absolutely the worst experience ever for my child. We purchased a 3.5 gallon Top Fin tank with filter and LED lights and artificial plants on the advice of a team member for my daughter's goldfish. Well her fish passed away so we went to get another goldfish and we were refused. We were told we needed a 40 gallon set up instead. I explained that we bought everything for her previous fish there, that the tank is also marketed on line as good for fish. We were sent away empty handed with my daughter in tears. No apology about her fish passing, no empathy for her lost pet, no suggestions for a fish that would work in the tank we were suggested to buy. The follow up phone call was just as bad. The manager explaining the need for a 40 gallon set up while acknowledging that pretty much no one is going to buy a tank that large for a goldfish.
Nice job Petsmart; way to make my daughter even more upset.
