Piccadilly West Apartments, Toledo OH

I have lived here for almost a year & they are SLUM LORDS! My apartment flooded & they taped roofing to my window seal, my bathroom tiles were caving in and they glued a plastic sheet to my wall, my apartment isn’t even up to housing standards (no fire alarms), maintenance washed my ac filter OVER MY DISHES! My heater was falling out of my wall & they came and put 1 screw in it apartments are CHEAP AF (expensive in rent) poorly put together

Years ago, I resided in these apartments. I like the area. I liked the apartment. Today, they are remodeled, they look very nice inside, though the online application, is nothing like in Person Application.
I think I'll buy a home instead of renting apartments, invest in myself.

I lived here for four months. I fell behind on rent due to covid. They said they could not help me. Added $100.00 late fee then a $350.00 filing papers fee. I don't understand that if you fall behind, what makes them think you can afford the extra fees. I loved my apartment and today I am being forced out.

I went and toured Piccadilly west even though I did not have an appointment, Suzanne was more than happy to accommodate me. She answered all my questions and was extremely helpful with understanding how to fill out the application!

DONT BELIEVE WHAT THEY SAY. I needed a place bad I applied for what they use very FREQUENTLY sister properties Jackman Groove on Jackman and Elenore. I wanted to rent at Jackman Groove but what I wanted was NOT available after I done what they said go online fill out the application. YES I was approved the SCAM IS: they APPROVE you, get your application fee the holding fee THE PLACE IS RENTED, AFTER telling u its available THEN show u another unit TOTALLY nothing u want if not OR a higher premium cost. DONT BELIEVE THEM LIERS. NICE NASTY SCAMERS. Please listen HED THE WARNINGS ON THESE REVIEWS WE ARE NOT MAD WE ARE WARNING YOU. I found out all this after I filled out another application fee and holding fee for PICCADILLY West which I am staying still. I was happy til now because they have AWESOME maintenance they try to take care of problems if u need a place Piccadilly is passable for a moment. JUST BEWARE ‍️

I did the application online and paid whatever fees totaling 140$ I haven’t heard from anyone and I can’t get anyone on the phone.

Spoke with someone on the phones, came in to pay the rent something else was add. Been living here for 2 years. Constantly increasing rent when the apartment is no where near close to the price. Money hungry company. Stay a away. Just terrible, save your time and money looking here. Along with the constant car break-in’s.

Been here for a year, light in parking lot has never worked & no cameras. So many packages have been stolen since moving out here. Earwig bug infestation due to the windows having SO MANY gaps! Was told pest control could come out but I’d be responsible for the bill. Washer flooded the laundry room & I slipped at 6 months pregnant, called maintenance for them to tell me it wasn’t a emergency and they’d clean water up sometime Monday (I called on a Saturday). Closet doors are horrible they come off track everyday! Rent continues to rise meanwhile it’s problem after problem! Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Carpet in master room was lifting and it took 9 months for someone to fix it. Was told Mold grows in everybody windows around winter so that’s not a emergency maintenance problem either and they’ll get around to it when they’re available. To each it’s own but this is my experience in the past year. Never been more happy about moving.

Just saw a guy allowing his Rottweiler to roam around our apartment complex off leash. You see the paw prints in the snow without any human footprints as proof. There are kids all around this area. Stay armed, especially if you have kids. I will be reporting this to management first thing Monday morning.

IM TRYING TO GET AHOLD OF SOMEONE FOR CHARGING ME $1,700 TO COLLECTIONS FROM LIVING IN A APARTMENT THAT WAS NEVER UPDATED or clean! CHARGED A EXTRA 75$ IN LAUNDRY THAT I NEVER USED! AND UP THE RENT WHEN NEW MANAGEMENT CAME! THEY TOOK MY DEPOSIT AND GAVE ME A BILL STILL! NO ONE IS EXPLAINING TO NE WHAT THIS BILL IS WHEN I CALL! I NEED ANSWERS!

I paid for the Application Fee, I never received a call back from the apartment office manager. I call them a month later about a refund, because I never heard from anyone. The lady said she wasn't there during my time of app, they don't do refunds and they sent me one email about waiting on the response from my co-applicant and closed my application. But guess what I received a confirmation email saying they received my application moments I got off the phone with her. SMH!

They want the rent on time but dont take care of the tenants the way they should.its winter time and none of these parking lots are shoveled.no salt when its icy.i cant wait to move from this place

A dump, im pretty sure they are slumlords. Im moving my mom out of here. Overcharge, dont fix anything. And keep raising the rent. They charge new tenants less than my mom who has never been late on a payment once.

You can dress up these buildings and the rude staff, but at the end of the day the management and owners will still make the building stink.

Link now owns rj Lloyds old buildings. You thought it was bad then? Please do your research on link, I have.they own properties in other cities in ohio with all the same issues.

Run away from this place to the suburbs you'll pay the same amount of rent.thats where I'm heading soon. Do not come here to pay 700-750$ for a 2 bedroom you will be robbing your own pockets.

A 'black appliance package' was promised no later than the 15th day of June, 2020 (over two months ago), 'in return' for raising the rent by $100.00, but, so far, the only units I see receiving them are the recently vacated ones. These people lie. I'm not signing again.

These people make promises to fix things but never do. They raise your rent and want you to pay for the newly upgraded rentals but ignore all issues that current residents have. We had bugs in our complex for over a year without action, when they KNEW the source and were not acting upon it. They leave washers and dryers broken for MONTHS and tell people to walk to another complex. There was a fire above us years ago and repairs have still not been made to our apartment from the water damage. I currently have an appointment with an attorney regarding several verbal agreements to fix things that have yet to be repaired.
