Pilot Travel Center, Columbus OH

Terrible, honestly One of the worst experience in a pilot. I’m on edge! I was profiled bye a white older male worker who was working the register he was very rude and unprofessional, he seemed to not like me or anyone with the color of my skin! I went to report this to the manager Micheal and he shrugged his shoulders. I use come in here on my way to work & I recently stop due to Micheal and most of the morning staff being unfairly rude and most NEVER HAVE A MASK ON! I will no longer be in attendance at any one of your establishments, but I wanted to report how I was mistreated. I hope you do something about this so no one ever has to go through what I went through.

What happened to the Pilot in Upper Sandusky, Ohio? ! Pumps are SO slow! Takes at least 30 minutes to pump 100 gallons of diesel! Card readers don't work. Go in the store after midnight and you have to hunt down the attendant. This place has gone to hell!

Worst pilot to go to. Don’t recommend doubles to come here. People block the exits and sleep at the fuel island

This is one of the best location in this chain, for they don't have a paid parking though they are located in the heart of a big city. Thank you for that.
Attention Corporate: There are lot of Muslim drivers -I'm one of them. Most of us stop and fuel only in Pilot Flying J. We need a HALAL MENU in your pilot flying j deli. With my small fleet we are already spending about $20,000 on pilot flying j. So I would like to eat from pilot flying J while I'm away from home. Please add HALAL in Pilot Flying J Deli Menu. Thanks

2017-11-09 please change coffee machines. The coffee machines in this location don’t make the coffee known for Pilot Flying J locations. The people who work here are very nice and they try to meet/exceed the expectations of their customers. However without the proper tools (the coffee machines in this case) they will fail to meet that. Again please examine these machines closely as they don’t meet Pilot Standards. I know this will help Pilot to protect their business image.

I have only good things to say about the people that I met and the way the place is being maintained. It is as clean as it can be, considering how busy it is, and the bad habits of some drivers.

However, the parking lot it is way smaller than the demand.
When you add to that all the locals bobtailing and taking a lot of the few spaces (this is just an observation, not a complaint, as they have as much right to be here (I suppose), then the dropped trailers, the result is a very crowded place with a lot of trucks coming by, searching for a spot to park, and leaving very disappointed.
And this was on a Sunday, I wonder how it is during the week.
I was just lucky to find somebody leaving, but next time I wouldn't take the chance.
Bottom line: if I need fuel, I'd come, but expect to leave after.

Last year we were here and so rudely treated. I used the laundry area. And one of the hire up staff threw away my clothes.
Another incident.
Myself and another lady helped escorted 2 people to doctor (heart) appointment. Because we were in large vehicles (RV's), we parked in trucking area. We were here 4 days on and off and leaving in approximately 8 1/2 hours for home. The one person had to have their appointment reschedules. Last night security did an invasion of privacy. Shining his flash light in on a patient while eliminating himself in the restrooms. Tonight security damaged my motor home with flashlights and laughed about how theythey were going to take care of my puppy because he had barked. A puppy a 1/2 a dozen trucker's has petted just today, He had a gun drawn. Both patients have high blood pressure and have had heart attacks one has had open heart surgery. He had a cholesterol of 2000 reading just today and a sugar of 300. The door and other areas were beat on one security saying that's a big f*ck*ng dog in there and there was another beat on the door. I was told to put my dog up and come out Now! After spending combined $300.00 in fuel purchases for travel and generators (heat/lights) not counting food/hygiene items which all is a half to. The patient inside held my pup while I went out bare footed and no coat. The Lady in the next RV and I were treated like common criminals. We are only here to assist in the care of 2 older men with heart & blood pressure problems along with one also having diabetes cholester kidney/bladders issues and prostrated problems. We were told to LEAVE THIS NIGHT. They were going to stand there until we were gone. Due to the way we were treated and woken up one patient is having pains in his chest. Further action may be consider if he is hospitalized. One patient recorded the situation. Mainly due to the threats on pup, obsentities, and all about agression.
It amazed me how such a clean and nicely set up place can have such horrible experiences.

Store was all right fuel pumps very nasty and greasy parking lot overrun by heroin junkies on Friday night I suggest pulling the curtains

My experience at the pilot sucked they only have 3 fuel pumps open for truck fuel drivers were parking at the fuel pump with only three fuel pumps open

Was really quick to get in and out. The bathrooms were clean and we'll stocked. The cashiers were friendly. Will definitely be returning to this one in the future

TOO MANY PEOPLE PANHANDLING AND KNOCKING ON MY TRUCK GIVE THEM JOBS CLEANING THE PARKING LOT AND THE SHOWERS FOR PETTY CASH

This place is horrible. Especially the 2nd and 3rd shift crews. They are rude people. They are mean about the showers. Rushing you even when there is no line. You always feel rushed thru there.

They had everything I needed and I got in and out in minutes. Great for a quick stop during my travels.

I hate when they have one price marked on the shelf and when you get to the regester it is another price: (they said oh sorry to get that price you have to go on line and file for a rebate

I stopped there to buy a fuel instead I was shown hate disrespect that I had never experienced the 3 guys working over here are in my opinion most hateful people ever given a opportunity to work place like this where people are diverse I will never ever stop this pilot nor do I recommend

I don't understand excuses truckstop make about allowing bobtails to take up 5 or 6 spots in a already small truckstop instead of make them double up

The customer service was extremely pleasant, and personable. The store itself was clean and we'll stocked.
The only issue that I had was the 1hr parking for travelers in non semi trucks. If the time limit could be moved to 2hrs it would be greatly appreciated. I am a professional driver also on a vacation trip home but I was kinda scared to take a shower in fear that my vehicle might have been towed!

I got 2 hot dogs off the grill, only put mustard on them, but they were so dam salty that I could not eat them!

Great place to stop and fuel and the manager is super nice always there to help and always putting great smile on costumers face:)

If you are a truck driver DO NOT park on the streets near the pilot. Columbus police will ticket you. Also dont park on no parking zones and stripped areas on the lot.pilot security will keep knocking on your door.

Not much parking at ALL that's the only issue here. They have a Wendy's and it's a McDonald's and Waffle House within walking distance.
