Pinpoint Painting and Renovation, Valley View OH

I contacted Pinpoint Painting via email because I have peeling paint on my bathroom ceiling. I live in a bungalow with an extremely small bathroom, half of which has ceramic tile. Scrape, sand and prime it one day, paint it the next. Four hours labor, tops. Brian (who didn’t smile once) said to expect the estimate in 1-2 days. Five days later, I received a ridiculous bid. Just upgrading the paint from good to best was an additional $152. If a job is beneath you, say so. “You should find a handyman to do this for you, ” and not try to take an old lady for a bundle. Shameful.

As someone who rarely writes reviews, I am only doing so now as a result of the truly excellent work + service we received from Pinpoint painting. Brian quoted our project and was our contact throughout the process. Pinpoint's was the lowest quote of four we received and had a good touch up policy for the first several years, so we moved forward with them. And we had a difficult job - very badly flaking paint on an 1890s victorian, it required a LOT of scraping and must have been hard to estimate as it was unclear how long the work would take. However our painters, Duke, John and Joe did a thorough and detailed job, painstakingly working their way around the house scraping and priming. We also had significant carpentry repairs done to our porch floor and roof, and the foreman Mike went above and beyond to make sure the job was done well, that the work looked historically accurate, and that we were happy with the end result. And I know it's not a reason to hire a company - but the guys who worked on our house were all really nice, genuine seeming guys, whose opinion I trusted and who I enjoyed chatting with over the several weeks they worked on our house.
We have nothing but positive things to say about this company and the people who work for them. I would absolutely recommend Pinpoint to friends and family looking for painting and carpentry repairs. We are grateful for the time and energy they put into making our home look its best.

Brian and Pinpoint Painting did everything they said they would do within the timeline agreed to with excellent results. I highly recommend them for anyone looking to use a high quality, trustworthy painter.

The team was flexible and responsive, and when on site, worked with us to ensure that they understood what we needed. Given that we have a 100+ year old house, the team needed to work around some oddities, but the final product looks fantastic. Highly recommend Pinpoint - we know we'll use them again in the future!

The two crew members at Pinpoint Painting did an excellent job at replacing the molding on my four front porch posts. They were on time, came up with a creative molding option to highlight the posts, finished the job quickly and cleaned up when they were done. Pinpoint painted my house and installed a deck. When they started pulling out the old deck, it literally fell apart and they rebuilt it. They were extremely professional and did an incredible job on my house. I would recommend these guys to anybody. The owner is very involved in every project and makes sure that it goes well.

I would give this company 50 stars if I could. They were dependable, reliable, courteous and did an amazing job painting my very large 3 story 110 year old home with intricately detailed woodwork. They cleaned up every evening. They were all so kind and polite. My window mullions were detailed beautifully and all of the craftsmen were very knowledgable.
