Play It Again Sports reviews
20Seemed like a store that had what I needed, kinda wish the guy had listened more and talked less but he was still helpful.
Giving 5 stars to this store because I had called them in order to get the phone # for the east side location. (Their # was unlisted.). The young lady who answered the phone was very helpful. She informed me that the different locations purchase different sports equipment and that I needed to call them to get confirmation on if they would even look at what I had. The east side location gets 5 stars also. They were very busy and the lone customer service rep was very apologetic for not being able to wait on me when I came in with my items. Overall, I highly recommend Play It Again Sports. Here's hoping that the Dublin store will consider purchasing the item that I'm going to take to them.
A lady working this evening was extremely rude to a customer because he was trying to provide guidance to another customer. The employee berated and mocked him. All the guy did was suggested a set of golf clubs that the store did not happen to have in stock. Apparently business is going so well for them that customer appreciation is thrown out the window.
Great place, has saved me money with used soccer, lacrosse and hockey equipment. Nice owners as well.
Purchased a wedge online. Paid. Was informed the quoted $12 was not enough to ship the club, and they needed $20. Received club, noticed bent shaft. Sent email with pictures to show bent shaft, requested $10 to reshaft damaged club, which is very reasonable as I do my own work. Never heard back. So they tried to jack the shipping, then sold me damaged merchandise and did nothing to correct the matter. 0 stars.
My son loves this place! He always finds something there he wants that he doesn’t have. All the prices are fair too. Cool shop!
Knowledgeable and super helpful. Totally outfitted us with Neff snowboard and gear for 100s less than retail cost of new board alone. Only place I will ever shop for snow gear and advice.
Went in looking for a new-to-me set of skis and they were very helpful with finding me something for my skill level and in my price range. Great customer service!
Very good service and nice people that work there even stayed later past closing to help me pick the right ski boots
Staff is costantly rude. Especially the managers. I've sold/purchased with them numerous times and have always been very courteous and professional (while they haven't) but after my last experience, I will never set foot in their store again. I'd rather drive to the Hilliard location than give these dishonest people my business again. Would give 0 stars if I could.
Went in looking for a full set of cheap hockey equipment and left extremely satisfied. Wide selection of new & used gear at good prices. Staff was beyond helpful and went out of their way to assist.
It was nice lots of sports equipment cheap products that are usually expensive and good quality love it.
Not sure who recently took over the golf section, but your prices are outrageous. I’m talking 20-30% more for scotty Cameron’s than you’d find on eBay for pieces that aren’t desirable. Asked the new guy in the store 3 months ago about a 3 wood that was well overpriced. I said would you do $40 instead of $50 - his response “ugh bro we don’t negotiate, the market will decide if we priced it right” - well, ugh bro it’s still sitting there.do you want to sell things or just have an inventory
Nice place to purchase sporting equipment at a discounted rate. They also purchase used equipment and pay a fair price.
Locally and family owned literally, very nice and helpful. So glad to super local, especially when the products are top notch and can satisfy my track and lacrosse kids. Only wish there was more spike track selections. Their used collections are nice as well.
I spoke with the weenend “manager” regarding a club trade. I found a model I wanted but needed to stop back with my M1 that was at home. I returned to the store 2 days later with my M1 to trade for the $79 Titleist 915. Upon review of my M1, the “owners” (male and female) offered me $77. I asked about a straight trade? “No.can’t lose $2 on every deal or we’d go out of busniess”.
I have spent $100s if not $1000s in this store over the past 10 years. The owners were condisending and rude. It’s been 2 weeks since this encounter, and I’m still in disbelief about their attitude. They asked, “do you feel unappreciated or that [I] was being taken advantage of? ” I looked straight at her and said, “I’m going to walk out of this store and never come back”.
I so much want to go back and thank them, because had they been decent business people and made the $2 deal with me, I would not have found this fantastic Epic drver at Par Golf! Not only did Par Golf allow me to take a couple drivers to my local range, but after they originally offered me $70 for my M1 and considering the $249 Epic.the Par Golf owner said, why don’t we call it $100.even? I then added the Epic 3 wood after taking it to the range! Overall it was the best $ 220. Investment In my golf game! And I never have to go back to Play It Again!
The male owner said ladies stop running in a rude way and so we said we were just trying to see if they would fall off (one did actually), and to see if they were comfortable. And the man said ohh sorry well you have been doing it for 30 minutes (we had been trying on shoes for like 10 and half minutes and half of the time we were looking for the shoes) and then we said no we haven’t and the man responded ohhh sorry 15 mins in a very rude way. He also said that in his 13 years he had never had girls running in a very annoyed and ill-mannered way. I won’t get to into detail about the rest (very rude) but definitely not going again!
Awesome location! I went it to get rid of an old club set a former roomate abandoned. They were too beat up and old so I just donated to them. The staff was professional, polite, and informative. As a snowboarding junkie, I found out these guys even do snowboard rentals for a very fair price! I'll definitely be back. Also such a great deal on inova frisbees and really all sports gear. Excellent place of business and location.
Great experience with the staff here today. They knew the rules/requirements for local kids leagues, explained differences and showed all the options without any high-pressure tactics. Felt very natural and welcoming. Came in expecting to just see some things before heading to a bigger store but instead purchased more than expected for kids and dad alike.
The owner was very rude and disrespectful and I have read in the comments that a lot of people have the same problems with the same person. Will not go there again
