I have nothing but good things to say about Pleasant Lake, I have been a resident for awhile now and the nurses, stnas and even housekeepers always help me when I need it. Amazing staff!

Did Agency at this facility. I had over 40 patients, two med carts, two trach patients, 5 feeding tubes and one tpn patient. All in 8 hrs and for one nurse.

I was an employee there for over a year they don’t know how to treat their workers at all. Management doesn’t help when we were short nor do they come in and help they don’t know how to talk to people. Only time everything is in order is when state is in the building. Were over worked then they are unappreciative. Residents were neglected I wouldn’t recommend this please for my own family member let alone anyone else’s.

I work here for bout a month and when I say this is by far the worst place I ever work they have bed bugs the resident rooms be so nasty it’s pee and poop all over the floors in the residents rooms till the point you go in the room and the floor be sticky from the urine and it’s smells so bad alot of residents wasn’t getting their showers due to a lot of the lazy STNA’s I walk in every morning I had the hardest floor to do and my people were always wet and BM and sheet change the residents who had bed sore wasn't getting their dressing clean and change and not to mention state was damn near there everyday and when they are there the bosses will come at you rude and work you like a dog I couldn’t never take a lunch break constantly running overwork and underpaid employees i feel bad for the resident that are here the only good thing about here was my coworkers was good team players I will not recommend this place

Everyone is very nice, my sister is in the memory unit. And it seems very clean also. The only problem is which they need to address is when you go to leave the door will not open I had to keep putting the code, they said it keeps getting stuck. That’s a Big safety issue they should look into.

I visit at least once a week for reference. I think the floor in the room is filthy. Staff is not always responsive and some are more interested in their cell phones.

My loved one had been at Pleasant Lake Villa after sustaining a fall with fracture. The care was amazing. The nurses were caring and attentive to her needs. The therapy department was great. I am so appreciative of the staff's kindness and excellence in their care and treatment of my loved one.

The first two visits my family member’s room was nice. Today the room was disgusting. The person next to him was bed was beyond the curtains separating them. No privacy for my family member. The bed was soiled and not addressed at 3: 00pm. I have photos of a spoon and other items on the floor. Items hanging out drawers. Dirt on floor confirming no one mopped in weeks. We all were thoroughly disappointed inf your facility. Employees were nice but absolutely did not care enough to make patients are taken care of properly.

In addition, I called prior to our visit to let them know several family members were coming on Saturday to visit. Your staff made no effort to make a decent appearance of his room. I let his wife know that your staff was not taking care of him and probably other residents as well. I will be an advocate for him.

I hope you will respond to our sincere complaint. We plan to visit him again soon.

Incident in past week with our family member. We came to visit and not one staff member approached us and introduced themselves.

I arrived to pick up my cousin who is a resident there and take her to visit her mother who is a resident at a different facility. I had done this before about three weeks ago and had called the facility this morning to let them know I would be there at 1: 00 so they would know to have my cousin ready. The aides did indeed have my cousin ready but when I went to the nursing station to sign her out I was told they didn’t have an order for her to go on LOAs even though she did go with me before. The nurse seemed annoyed that she had to take the time to call for an order. But after waiting for an hour there was still no resolution to the issue and I had to leave meaning my cousin was not able to visit her mother.

It’s a beautiful place everyone there has great energy I can tell that they really care about their patients

One star because dietary continues to feed a diabetic pureed breadsticks, pasta and one vegetable as a frequent dinner. With a high sugar 52 grams ""Health Shake"" they call it. Patient is always hungry and thirsty He became very sick in a short amount of time. Nursing staff never answers the phones to check on him.

The staff appear to be caring - however there is a need for housekeeping to clean, vacuum the floors and elevators.

I’ve worked for PLV all together 17 years and I absolutely love working here. I love getting the new hires and training them properly. I work on the Memory Center Unit and couldn’t be more proud of all the hard work me and my coworkers get done. We have a great team on all three shifts and that makes a huge difference. Having a great team makes a huge impact on the care our residents get. Here’s to another 17 more years

Very pretty setting in the spring and fall especially. The facility is clean and the staff is very nice.

I've been an employee at Pleasant Lake Villa for 18 years. I've enjoyed each and every resident that has lived here. Seeing the smiles on there faces is very satisfying. I enjoy caring for them along side the other great staff that we have. I just want to thank the residents for allowing me into their home, I carry a peice of each of them in my heart and memories of those long gone. Thank you
