Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen reviews
17Despite only having 2 people working, and having to deal with extremely rude customers ahead of us, Ashley and her co-worker were super nice and the food was fantastic. The food from this location is always very delicious!
Manager sat there and tried to make me feel stupid because she couldn’t understand the word fries over the intercom.the workers were fine.i didn’t even say anything originally, things get messed up, it happens.until she ran her mouth.ownership needs to get staff in check
My first time and last time having this chicken just don't like it cooked right just don't like crunchy chicken know matter who made it but was rushing too get something too eat before going to a concert but everyone else was getting the food from here so I tried it
Out of nuggets, no regular tenders only spicy, no mash potatoes because "they are about to close" but yet hours listed say otherwise. Should be 2 hours until close. So really they just don't want to make anymore food. Lady was rude on the speaker and at the window. So only half of us got food after sitiing there waiting on it for 15 minutes.
Disappointed Drive-thru experience! No Butterfly Shrimp, I purchased chicken tenders. The first couple tenders were tasting good then I tried the 3rd piece and it started to taste old I thought it was OOPS, but the 4th one was consistent with the other old. "THEY ALWAYS SCREW YOU IN THE DRIVE-THRU"
Had the spicy chicken sandwich and it was excellent. Was fresh and hot when received. The breading was perfectly seasoned and crispy with the soft and juicy chicken underneath. The fries are really enjoyable too with the Cajun seasoning kick to them. Great experience today worth a good review.
The cashier was pleasant. The store was clean. Overall it was a pleasant visit. The only thing I didn't like was we had to walk through the drive through to get in the building. Good was nice and hot.
Was so excited to see they brought back cajun rice. Sadly no cajun rice, got the lady of potatoes and mac and cheese. They only had a couple of them trying their best. I watched customers treat them badly. Its not their fault. There qre more jobs than people. Be grateful somebody is there working. We have lost some good restaurants.
I had a mobile order and when I got there it wasn’t ready for pickup. The cook then proceeds to grab my food bare hand and uses his shirt make sure it didn’t fall out of his hand, placing the shirmp against his chest.
I went in to place a carry out order instead of drive thru, thought it might be quicker and was. They had a 2 can dine special for $11.99 which was 5 pieces of chicken, 2 individual sides and 2 biscuits. The cashier was friendly, sides were great, chicken part good and part not, the crunchy skin is one thing but two pieces out of 5 tasted like either had been sitting and dropped in fryer again or something because you could almost break your tooth on several spots, literally had to take part out of my mouth, yuck, looses appeal after 3 times doing so when you feel like you just bit into something that's not good due to how hard it was, and I have real teeth, all of them so that didn't play a role but other pieces were good, not dry. I also used restroom while there and it was clean, stocked. I also tried the strawberry pie but to me it tasted like full of strawberry jam and had hoped for little more fresh strawberry taste but some might like that since that comes down to personal preference but I wouldn't get that again instead if I want little sweet treat I'll stick to the apple. To dine in they have plenty of seating, tables looked clean, floor needed swept, drink area looked tidy. Traffic on that area can be little tricky too.
Either due to staffing shortages, or the covid going around again, your dining room is closed for lunch today. So instead of patronizing your location anymore, I’m sitting in the lovely dining area of the KFC down the street. Your chicken is good, but not good enough to sit in my car and eat it. Sorry but the OG of fast food chicken wins today. Maybe you should open up for eat-in, closed lobbies is so 2020.
This location is hit and miss. YMMV. Today way quick but the food quality was not great. It goes back and forth. The spicy chicken sandwich might be the best of any fast food.
Rude employees. I was waiting for almost 40 minutes even they said I will only wait 12-15 minutes.so I called them on the phone to make sure that they didn't forgot about my order since I was waiting for almost 40 minutes. The person who answered the phone was complety rude he even didnt say sorry to wait that long.he literally told me that he don't care how long the process of the chicken and my waiting time. I was just making sure that they didn't forgot about me.then he brought the food to me after 5 minutes then he said See I told you we didn't forget about you. No sorry, completely rude and very disrecpectful. What an awful experience.
So the lady in the drive-through was pleasant but whoever was putting in the chicken in the box did not know how to count. Called several times to number on receipt and no answer. To far to head right back during rush hour for 3 pieces. ️
Free 2 PC Signature Chicken is always appreciated. Chicken sandwich a bit undersized but Customer Support took care of the problems
Good chicken - variable service. "Lobby hours" posted even though you can't enter the building.
The customer facing crew give the impression that this is their first day working. There must be one really top level employee on site keeping the place running, because my orders get closer and closer to being correct. I've only purchased dinners from this South Mason location 4 times, and I was going to boycott it after the first 90 minute drive-through experience, but my family really loves the chicken.
The crew always have good attitudes, but they always seem lost and unsure how to fill an order, where my order is, and what I had ordered. I give kudos to the shift leaders; whatever they're paid, it's not enough to herd the front facing folks into getting orders taken and served.
I would appreciate a large sign on the dining room doors (perhaps covering the "Lobby Hours" sign) stating that there's only drive-through service. Maybe post that in your Google or Bing descriptions as well. There looked to be a lot of out of state plates parking, walking up to the doors, and then driving off once they realized that there was no onsite dining.

I wish I could give 0 star! Waited for 30 mins online to get to order, then was told need to wait again since they don’t have the food yet. Ask how long, say: however long to fry the chicken!
