Kevin from Portage marble and granite is a big smoke show. My mother got a stone from there 4 yrs ago when my father passed. My mother recently passed away and I had them come out to put her death date on the stone well the engraving above her name is fading everything else on the stone look's good so I contacted Portage marble to let them know I thought it was from when they blasted the death date on the stone well "Kevin " said it probably was just faded from weather but he told my me when my mother got the stone from them it would only be a few hundred dollars to touch up the black if it ever needed it well he tells me today it would cost 900dollars and big difference from a few hundred which was only 4 yrs ago
