Power Shack Gym Grove City reviews
9I was a member for 6 months, and in that entire time, the majority of the cardio equipment was broken. Everything has a thick layer of dust, and the sauna is shut down because it's too expensive to run. YMCA is only$5 more per month and much cleaner with better equipment.
Expensive, not well maintained, they have a sauna that they won’t turn back on because it’s “too expensive”. Absolute hell to try to get straight answers from staff, and extremely hard to cancel. Don’t get locked in here, there’s a lot of better gyms in Grove city
Good gym and equipment, but way too expensive for how old the building is and the poor state of the locker rooms. There are cheaper options that offer the same level of quality.
Great place for a serious workout! Up to date equipment.free weights, machines, and cardio.
Not worth $80 a month. It’s small, and there’s an odor in the gym concocted of dried sweat that smells absolutely terrible. Just a gym for meatheads to jerk each other off. If you want to go to a place that’s cheaper and has more amenities, go to the YMCA off orders road. It’s $40-$50 cheaper and has a basketball court, hot tub, full sized locker room, swimming pool, and sauna.
I had the power shack take my monthly membership out automatically,
but I tried to discontinue my membership. Unfortunately I have to go to a third party write them a letter to get them to stop take my money out. The power shack wants my money but is not friendly to discontinue my membership. Now I got to jump through hoops try to get this third-party company not to take my money. Hey every month automatically now.
First time getting back to a gym, for a long time. And it has been quite a while since I returned here. Layout is a bit different, though, considering. I had checked out other gyms, but this one offered short term contracts, an option I need to consider. Had a good initial workout.
That trainer Greg, how did he get to be a trainer? Is he really worth hiring as he seems like he is either working out himself, drinking water or taking a selfie. Ask him to show you 1 client before and after photo. I write this because I am very certain him and a connection of social media people drove me out of Power Shack.
He has had some very odd experiences with women, i think he tells them its a date then he charges them to train. Seems shady
