Came from Lake County and realized there were no sunflower. Checked website and Facebook before making the drive and didn't find this information. Hope to visit again but hopefully no one else makes the same mistake.

Sad to see the field has no sunflowers this year. I recall them stating they would be relocating to Sandusky, OH. I pray for the new location. They will be missed in Avon.

Maria sunflower garden is a heart felt place to visit. This foundation raise money for cancer. This is a great place to look and walk through the sunflowers and leave a note or prayer for someone you have lost or in fear of losing to cancer.

Such a beautiful way to honor those with cancer, won the battle against cancer and to those who lost their battle.

Unfortunately our timing or information was not correct. We visited the fields in Avon today but could not see any plants at all. I was sure we could see the plants growing and maybe some in bloom. However there were empty fields except the signs, a
small shed and the small wooden bridge. Maybe another year. Please update for travelers.

Beautiful view with a beautiful message. The admission is free and you are welcome to make donations as you please and leave a note on a sunflower. It is quite heart touching to see all those young lives lost.

Beautiful! Very peaceful, great place to take pictures with family or of scenery, Very tastefully decorated with the post and pictures of lives that have been infected with such a horrible illness. Educational. Will go again

Must see if in Northeast Ohio! Make sure you go earlier than Fall (when these pictures we're taken). You want to catch them at full bloom. There are still a few beautiful ones around in the fall but amazing concept and gorgeous sight to take in. What a great purpose. Pro Tip: go near sunset for an amazing photo op or selfie.

I always stop by here after getting my welding supplies. Most of the time it's just a patch of dirt or little plants, but if you come in late summer it's basically a guaranteed answered prayer.

Beautiful field of sunflowers with a very poignant cause. Raising awareness for childhood cancer. An experience not to be missed.

A great experience for a worth while cause. Be sure to donate at PrayersforMaria.org and read the full story there. Plenty of parking. Plenty of sunflowers. A great time for kiddos to have a jaunt thru the sunflowers. Be sure to wear long pants to prevent the prickers from getting you if you want to go of the beaten path.

Awesome experience! See acres of sunflowers with attached prayer cards for the sick or those who have passed. Is peaceful and comforting to see so much love and caring.

Very impressive memorial for a little girl who passed away from brain cancer several years ago.
