Preston's North Market, Columbus OH

My honey and I wanted a good burger and saw that this place had good ratings, and thought we would give it a try. Especially knowing how crowded some of our usual restaurants were going to be with it being valentines weekend. We get out to enter the burger joint and was greeted by two gentlemen standing outside the entrance. We go in and sit down, no one said anything to us. We look at the menu for a few minutes, no one as much as said hello can we get you drinks. Yes, we were the only black couple in there. One young lady stood at the end of the bar eating potato chips (employee), talking to another employee, another young lady standing at the cash register directly in front of me, looks at us and said nothing. I refuse to get treated like this and we left. We still got our burger from (Hyde Park) and great costumer service. It just saddens me that this happened.

Yuuuuummmmmmm. Delicious hadmade burger patties, tasty handcut fries. Definitely will eat there again!

I just received my order through postmates. I ordered the Pres' Double and salt n vinegar fries. My Burger is absolutely delicious. It is so flavorful! My French fries are a little cold but they did have to travel and I'm willing to bet they're amazing at the restaurant. Definitely getting food from here again

This is a very unique place to go. Food was good. Service was good even though they were quite busy on a Monday night. We had a good time and enjoyed our meal. It was a neat experience atleast once.

This review is for the food truck, not the setup at Woodland's (or does the truck move from Woodland's- not sure of the situation.) Baby K wanted a burger and fries (which means fries, and some bun, and a lot of ketchup.) I had heard of Preston's, and been to Seventh Son, and saw the truck there so I made a quick turn and we ate there. (I had a beer and she had a water, both good, but not part of this review.) The truck has a small menu, possibly different from the one at Woodland's? I got a double, and plain fries (would have tried salt and vinegar if the primary customer were not a toddler.) Also some of the daily special pudding: cinnamon toast crunch.

Amazing burgers - the meat is incredible. Unfortunate location, too far off the beaten path, but once you know it's there, it's great.

Fries had no oily crispiness to them, just the texture of baked potatoes. Cheese curds were pretty good, though. Not sure why they buzzed my buzzer before the food was ready.

The cheese with arugula was so tasty, but the meat was seasoned well and so delicious. Even the bun had a char on it. Very nice.

Burger was good but the atmosphere was just ok. It's a younger persons hangout. My burger had pickles on it but I couldn't even taste them. They are house pickles and cut extremely thin. I love pickles and want to taste them on a sandwich. If you can't taste something, why even put it on? I ordered the salt and vinegar fries and they tasted the same as the regular fries. Most likely won't go back just because it's not our kind of place to hangout. Atmosphere is a big thing for us.

It was hard not to order one of the best burgers in Columbus but the hot chicken sandwich from Prestons Burgers at Woodlands Backyard is going on the short list for amazing hot chicken sandwiches. House pickles, mayo, iceberg lettuce, amazing bun, hot chicken.

Attended the PBR event and the location was excellent.the food we had was pretty good too.love the bowling lanes

Absolutely love love love the burgers here! Y’all have a food truck that comes by my work every Thursday and it’s literally the highlight of my work week.

Pretty good burgers but greasy. Fries were not good for over 4 bucks. Fun bar, but I wouldn't go there just for the food. Try to get the burger box to avoid paying a ton for mediocre food.

The way a burger should be. Simple and delicious. Buttery bun with a smash burger style. These bad boys ooze cheese and the special sauce is delicious! I'm also in love with their fried cheese curds!

The burger and cheese curds were good. I took a star off because we were confused about what was going on. Its in Woodlands Backyard, you go in and sit down and eventually someone acknowledges you but its not entirely obvious that its a resturaunt.
