Worst insurance people to ever have to work with, rude and insulting.
Do not try to talk to the adjusters here or their managers, they are arrogant and have no interest in helping.

Trying to nickle and dime me by saying I never had a DE DL. Had to order a full driving record because they refused to talk to DMV.

At first it was ok. I signed up for auto pay. Not cheap! Good product. Then half year later they change my policy lower limits. From unlimited miles to 100 miles radius. They also increased my insurance premium. And other underhanded changes hid them in a giant thick fiel of papers. Thieves and hacks. There explanation is ohh we sent you a packet of information regarding your coverage. I did not request any changes.so I assumed that my insurance had the same coverage as what I originally signed up for. Wrong they stuck me with cheap nooo good unusable insurance for a higher price then before. And all of this with out one claims, accident or ticket.

VERY POOR service.they ask questions, give a good rate, collect in full then 4-6 weeks later they want receipts from safe drivers courses taken over a year ago. PLUS in NY where courses are taken, you give the receipt to the DMV when you apply for a special license. Progressive then ups your rates after they have you hooked. I'm sick of hiring a company that wants me to do their work. All they had to do was get confirmation from NY, and they expected US to do it.
I'm outta here. SHAME ON YOU PROGRESSIVE.

Keep your unsolicited spam junk mail to yourself. Complained to corporate and the BBB, these folks dont seem to have the brains to figure it out. If they cant process a simple request like this, why would I trust them with my insurance?

Not customer friendly beneath all those nice eye candy Ads. Hiked my policy premium 40% even without a single claim, speeding tickets or violations. When I cancelled policy - they charged $50 cancellation fee. Said it's all in the fine print. I would advise to STAY AWAY from giving them any business.

I would give this company a minus if I could. I have paid for coverage for years. Someone ran a stop sign and my son hit them. The other company (Nationwide) took full responsibility and Progressive (my company) washed their hands of it. Nationwide totaled my truck for $2,000.00 (I had rebuilt the truck and had over $8,000.00 in receipts). Progressive refused to do anything. I am cancelling all of my policies. If you live in Ohio, don't ever rebuild an old vehicle or bother to insure it.

I've had Progressive Insurance for over 10 years now. The customer service reps are knowledgeable and helpful. I had to file a claim for the first time this year and found the service provided made my experience very seamless. I didn't have to do anything. The representative that helped me took care of everything. I'm so glad I have an insurance company that is there for me 24/7. Thanks Progressive!

Terrible Customer Service and Misleading "Discounts". I have had Progressive Insurance in the past and never really spoke to an actual person until now; and it was the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
I called for two reasons:
1. The Snapshot device beeps all the time - when I am driving, when I am stopping, when I start and stop the car. I HATE the new design and policy system for the Snapshot device.
2. The discounts that I was promised when I sign up were never applied to my account, and they have been over charging me for 3 months.

When I called, I spoke to someone named Tyler. He was inconsiderate and completely rude to me throughout our entire conversation and became progressively worst the longer I was on the phone with him. When I challenged what he said to me, his had the audacity to raise his voice and snap at me. When I asked to speak to his supervisor, he was snarky with me and gave me a hard time about that too!
Now I realize why so many people are blindly happy with Progressive - THEY NEVER HAVE TO TALK TO ANYONE THAT WORKS FOR PROGRESSIVE.

I am switching my insurance today, because I can get a cheaper rate with and actual person who is personal and nice to me - rather then supporting the paychecks of these jerks.
I think that Progressive is set on instant gratification of the dollar and not the security and well being of it's customers. I am very disappointed.

I've had the worst experience ever with this company starting with the sales team all the way to the Care manager and the Underwriting team. They have cause me and my mother such an overwhelming week, they quote me for a price and then don't allow to make a purchase and then takes them 4 days to reach out to me but they stated 2 days and when they do my quote no longer exist but they want to create a quote that is $130 more monthly. All error were because of the progressive team but as a consumer I have to bear the cost, I don't think its fair at all.

I wouldn't buy any insurance from these crooks, you will better off with no insurance because you will pay out of pocket anyway in the end. Classic corporation profits vs consumer care.

This is sort of a weird review of Progressive, but I gave it 5 stars because they are always so kind and have July 4th fireworks at it every year. There is lots of cops to direct traffic and keep things peaceful. They even have food and item vendors at it including a concert at the amphitheater next store!
