This isn’t a review for this location but a review for Progressive auto insurance. It is completely disheartening that I had a policy with progressive for 11 years (no late payments, never had to make a claim.just throwing money at them), canceled my coverage because I was out of a car - asked them if I could make a reduced payment a month so I wouldn’t lose my status but declined when I found out it would cost MORE to have nothing insured, and recently getting a car trying to get back with them they said I had to start from the beginning. Seems like an entire racket. I suggest anyone looking for car insurance, look elsewhere, because progressive does not care about it’s customers at all.

Do not give personal attention. Needed advice on new state laws on coverage didn't know where more concerned about verifying Identity. Is what it is.

Trash. They doubled my renters insurance without notifying me plus my car insurance was steady going up also without notice. I never had any claims or anything that would’ve increased it the way they did. I didn’t receive a full refund when I cancelled because of more bs from them. Never will look their way again.

Just got my renewal bill and was $50 more. I called and was told the same as last renewal that "Claims in my rural area of NV have increased in the last few months" Goodbye and thanks for the $11 credit due to the lack of claims the last few months. Horrible and shameful

Monica who was handling case #203083626 from progressive insurance was the most unprofessional person I ever dealt with! She's been ignoring my phone calls and emails for weeks, when I finally got a hold of her (Using another phone number) SHE SIMPLY HANGED UP ON ME! What a shame for the company or is this how reputable insurance company handles their claims now? Im now going to share my experience with local media in California

Claim and customer service department is very unprofessional & rude! (Michelle Jones) If can find a different insurance holder I would 100%. They don't return voicemails, answer calls, or emails. If need help and ask for help forget it they'll either ignore you or say you better figure something better out. HORRIBLE INSURANCE PROVIDER! Took me 2 days to to find what I needed and I did it with NO help from Michelle Jones from Progressive or my agent

I reported a claim on Sunday. Monday evening at 5: 15 I received my first contact from the claims department. Via email. I immediately called my adjuster back just to receive voicemail. Her voicemail stated she was in the office 8-5 (weird, my email came in later) and is off Tuesday. So for a claim filed Monday, I can't even possibly speak to someone until Wednesday. No how are you or is everyone OK call or anything. So. After leaving the voicemail for the adjuster, Shalimar Jackson, I called the claims office and spoke with Ashley to ask if there was anyone else to talk with. She gave me the supervisor's contact information. I called Shyana White on Monday night and left a message. He voicemail said she'd return calls by the end of the business day. At 4 pm the next day, I'd received no response and called again. Voicemail. We had to have the car towed because it was blocking a street, and with no response from Progressive (despite having roadside assistance coverage) had to pay for it myself. What if someone had been hurt? This is awful.

Relatively easy to get a policy with them but forget ever being able to get a claim paid by them when you are injured or your car is damaged. I'm sure they have good people but it takes multiple phone calls to get to someone who will not rip you off.

They start they sentence off By saying "Ok Well". That right there is already a unprofessional response. They don't know How to talk 2 a customer especially if the client is upset after taking 500bucks more from wat my Contract said when I signed it.and also they forgot when they get out of work that they are actual customers as well they shud talk nice when it's Situation happening that makes the customer (Me) uneasy. They don't really want to Help you so I feel like they don't try 2 work with You which is not how u keep business coming, They rather try to rush you off the phone after sitting on hold for however long. Since 2017 I been having a problem with Them! I've had Enough of them and i canceled my Policy Again!

Progressive I am highly disappointed in your customer service! As most of you know I was in an accident (the other drivers fault) and I just found out my car was a total loss. There was no further explanation of what happens next just that my financial provider needed to be notified. This morning I received a voicemail that my rental was due back today. I’ve been in the rental for 15days. 4 of those days my car wasn’t being serviced because your employee never called it in. It would have been nice to know Friday that I would be forced out of my rental by the end of the before this morning! I could have at least gotten the information on Friday so I had the weekend to look for a vehicle. I had to cancel my clients to find time to even look for a vehicle which I did not find btw but had to make it back to the rental shop to turn the car in. This is beyond poor customer service and I hope no one else has to experience this type of service!

They kept my car insured despite the fact that I signed document that the car was in an accident and the junk yard. If I have not noticed Progressive would keep charging me for car which has been totaled. I had to go through endless phone calls to resolve the issue and fight the incompetent bureaucracy. Quitting Progressive indeed. They forget who the customer is and why they are getting paid.

On September 6,2019 I was driving home from work approximately 2 hours away from my home when my vehicle suddenly stalled, leaving me stranded on the side of the road. My vehicle had experienced a catastrophic transmission failure that would not allow it to move from its location. I contacted progressive, my insurance provider, immediately as I have road hazard protection. I explained the situation to a representative who then transferred me too their roadside service specialists. I spoke with the specialists on the phone who sent me a text message that I was to respond to that provided them with my exact GPS location. After about 10 minutes of talking with them I was informed that I did not have roadside assistance on this vehicle and that I would be responsible for being towed from its current location. I declined their rather large estimate and secured assistance elsewhere. Over the next week I repaired my vehicle. Once getting the vehicle operational, I called progressive and spoke to an agent. I requested that they add roadside assistance to my current policy. To my surprise, I was informed that I already had roadside assistance on this policy. I then explained the events that transpired on the 6th and that I was very disappointed in the fact that I was not provided with the service that I had been paying for. I asked to be transferred to someone who I could report a complaint to. I was transferred to a roadside assistance provider who had no idea why I was being transferred to them. I then explained the entire situation again, only to be transferred a second time to explain the entire situation once again. This person mentioned that I was “cold transferred” and that they would “warm transfer” me this time so I did not have to explain the situation again. I was then transferred a fourth time to a resolution specialist who stated that they would need to review the initial call before they could help me. This person suggested that I must have provided the wrong vehicle information during the initial call and that is why they would need to review the call. They stated that someone get back to me 24 to 48 hours later. 24 hours went by and I received no email or phone call. On the third day I received a call from progressive, however I was working and unable to answer the call. I returned it only 20 minutes later. Once I reached someone I once again had to explain the situation. I was then transferred again and had to explain. The call was transferred to someone who picked up and began speaking for approximately 3 seconds before hanging up. I waited 20 more minutes and called back and, of course, had to explain the situation once again. I was then transferred to a resolution specialists or supervisor “who knows what’s going on at this point” and was told that there was a note on my account stating that they had tried to leave a message but was unable to do so. They had no additional information noted on my account and consequently unable to provide me with any sort of resolution. I cancelled my policy. I explained that I was no longer confident in their ability to pay a claim if they couldn't even provide roadside assistance. At no time was I able to speak to their corporate office. They simply stated that I could not and that they could send my phone number and email to them but there was no way that I could contact them first. So…. I'm posting this on their social media page in hopes that they see it and so that potential and current customers can avoid this business. This was a simple and likely honest mistake that could have been corrected by apologizing and getting back to me in a timely manner. Don’t let progressive leave you on the side of the road.

Sons car parked on street overnight and hit by a policy holder of Progressive. Policy holder admits fault and police report completed. Son called and filed claim today and was told it may take 1-2 weeks to verify coverage. Really, this is the 21st century, should be able to verify instantaneously. Son just wants his car fixed and a rental. Progressive does not seem to care. I have never worked with a company such as this. They should be jumping through hoops to fix the car and supply a rental. Apparently customer service is not in their vocabulary. I would encourage anyone that is buying their insurance to reconsider as apparently they are good at taking money but not paying claims. Progressive needs to step up and do what is right. I will consider removing or editing this review if and when Progressive fixes his car and supplies rental.

Progressive tried to over charge me 1300 for my 6 month policy. It went from 1300 to 2500 every 6 months. Will never use them again and there road side assistance sucks unless you enjoy waiting 4 hrs.

I was a passenger in a accident and they left me with all kinds of medical bills so if you get seriously injure in a car they won't give a dann and will have you running around stressed out: (very sad and its pointless to have car insurance these days because you are just a number to them nothing more

I went to Progressive Insurance because USAA no longer insures motorcycles and I got a slightly better multi-vehicle rate with Progressive. What a mistake.

When I moved last month my Progressive truck and motorcycle policies both jumped significantly, so I started shopping. GEICO offered the best combined truck/motorcycle premium, so I called Progressive to see if they could match the GEICO quote. They couldn't.

No problem, as both my truck and motorcycle were near or at their renewal date, so I asked Progressive to cancel both policies on the same day three weeks in the future. However, the demands for payment kept coming, even after multiple calls.

I was told by Progressive phone agents to simply ignore the bills, as both of my policies were canceled. I logged into my account, which showed a zero balance, so I figured it was just a glitch in the billing system.

Today I got another bill, for $0, on my motorcycle policy, so I called again and got pushy with the customer service agent about making the bills stop. Magically, I now have an unpaid balance of $143 for early cancellation of the motorcycle policy.

NEVER, and I mean NEVER, have I been treated so poorly by an insurance company. They should be ashamed of their poor performance. Are you listening Progressive management?

On multiple phone calls I asked agents if I should be expecting any additional charges. Until today, the answer was always "no. " So, I can only conclude that Progressive has a training problem or they are vindictive. Either way, I CANNOT RECOMMEND PROGRESSIVE to anyone. They turned what was a decent experience into a horrible experience.

After more than 42 years of amazing service from USAA, and 5 years of excellent service from GEICO, I'm going back. Progressive, you deserve this 1-star review. Train your people!
