Promenade Park reviews
16Cold, sterile, gaudy, empty, the tree is a travesty. That huge TV screen is like something out of a dystopian sci Fi movie. Not friendly.
Love it here! As a wedding photographer, I appreciate how close this park is to several wedding venues in Downtown Toledo! It's also a great spot for a proposal or engagement session in Toledo. Right by the water and always filled with fun events and sculptures, plus the holiday season is always so festive here. Promenade Park is a true gem in the area!
Great park down near the Maumee river surrounded by new renovations and the new Pronedica building. It’s well cared for and seems to always have something going on. Went for the tree lighting even though it was not even thanksgiving yet it definitely felt like the beginning of the Christmas season.
Took pictures for our wedding album here. This place has changed a lot since I first moved to Toledo almost 30 years ago.
Was there for Alzheimer's Walk. Didn't see.much of the park, but nicely decorated for occasion
We love Promenade Park! There's always something going on and my kids love the splash pad.
Went for a 2 hours sandpiper cruise. It was very relaxing and had a lot of beautiful homes and scenery
So beautiful love how it looks now have not been here since i was a kid and went to rally by the river with my mom
We had a party of 14 for the Saturday morning River cruise on the Sand Piper. This was a great way to relax and see what's happening on the Maumee River.
Lovely place for families, couples and young children. Being close to the Maumee River adds to its ambience. Several nice restaurants are close by.
Saw Gwen Stefani here. They definitely had it set up strange for such a big artist, all of the fencing, e.t. C.and the tickets had seat numbers but no seats were available. When I asked, they said the seat numbers were"for them" to keep track of occupants. Also the large screen we watched the concert on was not the best, as parts of it were solid green patches.
Love to eat outdoors here at one of the several restaurants. If you are good in your timing, you may see a freighter passing through and get up quite close.
I love that money has been invested in this once lackluster park. And while i think the park is gorgeous it seems that many things were an afterthought. The stage has so many blindspots that concerts there aren't always fun depending on where you are. And putting it on the screen isn't a great substitution as i could just watch videos at home.
Great concert venue, however the concessions and food truck area left a lot to be desired. The food and beverages were good but the set up area was awful. The lines were confusing and very long. However I will definitely be returning for future concerts. I will definitely keep snacks on hand and eat before the concert because the lines were unbearably long and the wait time for food was beyond ridiculous. Let me say this though, when you finally got your food it was hot and delicious or cold and refreshing depending on what you ordered. Everything tasted great but they really need to rethink the set up of the concessions area for future events because that was a train wreck in 90 degree weather.
Very nice park for an outdoor concert. Nice breeze right off the water. There was plenty of parking around the park within easy walking distance.
Love promenade park, it's nice to get out and walk and see other people out and about these days. There bars and restaurants in the area and a fairy that takes you around the Maumee river. There's also concerts and festivals. Would recommend this place to anyone who loves to get out.
