If I could give a minus stars I would, I went through a 3 week process getting all the paperwork these guys wanted me to get, things were looking very promising until I was told that I couldn't get a loan because they felt the home I intend to buy was a manufactured home or mobile home how they determined that is beside me because the home is sitting on a foundation, one dude took it upon himself to make his own conclusion on what he felt the home was.this home I'm intending on buying is a modular home which according to what I researched this company does do loans for. I wasted 3 weeks and they wasted my time, upper management was no help, I was told they would look into it and I haven't had a follow up call. A dude by the name of Steven Furdock or something was rude as hell. I wouldn't recommend these people.they wasted my time.

Extremely questionable hiring practices. By the makeup of the place is almost exclusively white. In a place like downtown Cleveland I think an investigation into hiring is very necessary. Very untrustworthy people.

Wish I would have read these comments before trying to refinance with this company. Locked me into a rate and then increased it right at the end because they didn't just simply ask me for a couple hundred more in assets. Not that hard to make a phone call quicken loans employees.

Beware of fraudulent loan applications by QL! While using an online mortgage calculator a QL agent called me - and minutes later a HARD HIT (-5 pts!) was glued to my credit reports for TWO years, along with a "loan" application and denial, even though I don't have a mortgage. Only 4 digits of your SS# will give them "permission" to access your credit, pull your scores down and make claims for fraudulent applications. Numerous complaints to QL have been made, simply asking for removal. All denied. Do yourself a favor, spend more time finding a company you can trust.

Quicken Loans, also k/a Rocket Mortgage. Fast process for a mortgage, excellent online experience. Terrible on FEES! Terrible on loyalty to their customers! They have a so called "Loyalty Program". Two mortgages paid off in last four years on properties I owned. Tried to get a refi on my current property, given absolute worse deal for a refi. Received dozens of "Loyalty" calls with worse rates in the market offered as well as highest fees️Loyalty? Give me a break. Last offer to pay $50+ more a month to pay off loan sooner only about $6500 in fees. I don't have to pay anything to pay $50+/ month. $6500 fees NO.

I purchased my first home with Quicken out of Detroit a few years ago and had a very good experience. When I went to buy a second home I reached out to the office in Cleveland: I expected a similar experience but was unpleasantly surprised. The customer service was terrible. I mean I was going to buy a house and was pre-approved, but couldn't get anyone to return my calls in a timely fashion. The main person I talked to out of the Cleveland office was PJ in case anyone is reading this review. I would send required documents over, but couldn't seem to ever get in touch with him. When I finally found homes I was interested in, I had to wait on Quicken. Every week or so he would call in to say there's an additional document the underwriting team will need and he'll get back to me with the documents I need. After not hearing or seeing anything from him for weeks, I would call back and get no answer. This kind of thing went on for 2 months or so and unfortunately I had to move on. I didn't even get to look at 1 house during this time because of the delays. I will not be doing business with the Quicken-Cleveland office, ever!

I have my current mortgage with them, and had a pretty good experience years ago when I purchased my home. Their client care has gone SIGNIFICANTLY downhill since then and will be leaving them over a horrible refinance attempt. Everything from people not returning phone calls, to getting sent in phone machine loops when attempting to get any good answer for questions, etc. Just really, really bad. Will do business elsewhere.

Three stars for fast and convenient, but the money for all those commercials has to come from somewhere. Check the total closing costs carefully.

It seems like only the people with bad experiences give ratings so I'll be the outlier. I had an incredible experience with Quicken Loans. They closed my refinance in just over two weeks and everyone was so sweet and efficient. I'll never work with another lender and will recommend them to all my friends and family!

They will approve just about anyone. We have been a month late on our mortgage (who hasn’t? Hard times should be expected from a lender. Kudos to you if you’re lucky enough to not have this issue) and they immediately threaten foreclosure. I attempted to contact them regarding this and was spoken to like the scum of the earth. I also attempted to set up partial payments over the course of the month and they wouldn’t do that either, they demanded the amount in its entirety. My realtor advised against this company and now I know why. I just wish I would have listened to her. Never go through this company.

Our experience with quicken loans was not what we expected. We were approved almost immediately which was great, however the rest of the process was ridiculous and took almost two months. There was nothing quick about it. We had to submit the same required paperwork over and over even though we got confirmation it was received. We had an appraiser hired through them that was in our home for a total of 10 minutes and charged over $500.00.and our closing date was moved back which almost made us deliquent on our mortgage payment.
The best part was the notary company they hired. They were quick and effecient.

So i go online fill out app.it completes and then takes me to live chat with mortgage banker. He asked many questions over 35 minutes back n forth tells me good news im very well qualified.but they have 130000 plus minimum they cannot finance my amout of 95000/100000. WHY wouldn't he say that before then take me through all the bs. Will never do business with them and i see they have many bad reviews besides mine. Go elsewhere

Very irritating to deal with. I chose to go with another lender, and had indicated this to the person I was working with. A week later, I received a phone call at 8 am and told that person the same thing. I then got a phone call from another rep 2 hours later! They must have issues with internal communications. Not to mention, they have called my husband on his phone 10 times a day since inquiring! If I could give them less than 1 start, I would!

I filled out an online form to see how much I qualify for now they call 4times a day. Stop calling me I would never do business with a company that calls so much just from a lead.

I can't warn you enough times about how unethical and incompotant these people are! My credit is over 800 they asked for 7 documents on day 2 an appriasal on day 4 " YOU ARE ALL SET DR" Day 15 they asked for 66 documents 95% were redundant and or unnecessary! It was a simple refi. I was already working with first federal of Lakewood they closed with me while these folks could not even get out of the gate. String them along as a 3rd choice and close with a local bank. They are under federal investigation RUN RUN RUN

Gave us an approval, we found a house, put in an offer, we paid to have it inspected. A week later we are told we are no longer approved because they didn't look over our documents fully.
I am so disappointed, as we found a house we love. But I am even more angry that they were so negligent and wasted almost $2k of our money, all of our time looking at houses, getting our hopes up, and coming up with more for a deposit so we could get a lower interest rate. All of this for nothing. So unbelievably unprofessional. I do not recommend them. They will waste your time and your money.

Their rate was a full percentage point higher than any other competitor and their closing costs were about $5,000 higher than other lenders. This company almost feels like a scam operation.

During the process of looking for a house. The loan officer gave our valuable information to the real estate agent we looking to get the house from.

Absolutely the worst experience dealing with these people. Promise to do things then back out. We wasted over a month emailing texting faxing them everything they wanted, right before closing they indicate they can't verify certain things and denied the loan. They told me from start that wouldn't be issue. Abi Chami, Scott Oliver, Brandon Wessel will only waste your time. Trust me and find another mortgage company, you will thank me later. I was approved with another lender within 7 days and saved over $10,000. Quicken Loans is a scam and waste of time!
