Rave Cinemas The Greene 14 + IMAX reviews
22Came here to see a Quiet Place 2. Sat in a row with noisy family which ruined our movie experience. Luckily the manager John was very supportive and solved the problem. Thanks John! Other than this I would give them 5 stars. I will come back!
The theater was clean and not over-crowded. The ticketing system includes an extra space on the left and right of booked tickets so you're not too close to others as well as assigned seats. Every seat has two full arm rests, a tray, reclining feature, and is heated (via a button). It was plush and super comfy. The arm rests do not move; great for a first date, less so if you want to snuggle with your SO.
Great place to hangout.though i believe imax is a ripoff poor seating no reclining.paid $35.00for two not happy
So happy to have our theaters open again. It was clean in all over and the bathrooms were not nasty. Can't wait to go back.
On 6/29/21 The IMAX theater was absolutely, ear-splittingly loud. When asked to turn it down, the manager said there was nothing he could do. This was the last strike for this theater for me. Not to mention they played a 5-10 minute 3D trailer for a Jurassic move for a NON-3D movie showing, causing nausea for myself and my wife. Overall terrible experience. Either the theater needs to get its act together or it needs Universal or IMAX or WHATEVER is controlling the volume to get it fixed. Overall terrible experience.
Call ahead for seating. When arrived staff was friendly facilities was clean smelled sanitized. Safe distance seating in the cinema. Comfortable reclining seats heated with a food tray that swings around. Sound was incredible had a great time!
Movie theaters are normally known for employing you people who hate their jobs. They are normally known for managers who don't care. Amidst the pandemic, this theater seemed to whittle down on those employees who hate what their doing. The management seems to be engaged. Employees aren't angry that they work there.
I reported a broken seat to management. I doubt they did anything about it, but at least they acted like they were going to get right on it.
Still expect to suffer through wildly long lines at the concession stand while both employee and patron confuse each other over their orders.
I accidentally bought tickets for Friday thinking I chose Saturday. We arrived Saturday to watch Toy Story and I realized my error. Not wanting to disappoint the kids, we quickly bought tickets to a showing that had just started. My husband mentioned in passing we had bought the wrong tickets and they insisted on refunding the ones we just bought and honoring the ones we purchased for Friday. I really appreciated it!
IMAX is great, you can feel the intensity (really loud) just wish they were the reclining seats.
I really liked this place they have heated and reclineable lounge chairs. The staff was nice and they had great movie selections.
Went to the 40th anniversary showing of Stanley Kubrick's masterpiece "The Shining". Screen was black through the first 5 minutes of the movie. It may take another 40 years for me to calm down. Why not restart the film? Grrrrrrr
Dirty theatres, dirty seats. One of the employees car to clean up the floor for us and we I had to point out that there was pop corn on the floor clearly I front of him. People talked the whole time. Could not enjoy the movie at all. Don’t waste your money. Go to the Dayton mall or Huber heights.
As long as you have money to waste this was a great place. $50 for a couple popcorn's and a couple sodas better get a happy ending with that, however the only reason they got two stars and not one was because they have some really nice heated seats that recline perfect for that happy ending
Nice place to watch a movie but 12.00 popcorn and drink, too much with a 9.00 ticket. Watch the movie and bring a box of candy from Krogers.
Watched a star is born. Awesome movie. However this is the dirtiest movie theater that we have ever visited. The heated seats were amazing though. Austin landing is so much cleaner and nicer.
Went this morning, had a good experience. Love the new reclining seats, the bathrooms were clean, and the employees were friendly. Only thing that took longer than usual was picking up our tickets that we ordered thru Fandango app. But overall was a good trip and worth the drive and extra ticket price.
Updated theatre. Nicest seats I've ever sat in to watch a movie. Not that I've been to all the local theatres lately, but still very nice.
Priming optimal location. Staff are friendly and approachable. Went to see the Neil Armstrong movie there and head the really nice theater with great seats that recline like a lazy boy. This is great place to do a lunch or dinner and shopping experience with a movie! I would recommend this for people wanting to have fun with friends or family.
This place finally decided to get assigned seating and recliners. For years me and the family would make the trip up to the Rave Cinemas in Huber Heights strictly for both of these options. Now we have a location closer that offers the same amenities. And admittedly we like the seats better. They almost fully recline making any seat in the theater a good seat. Props!
My friend and i attended a matinee viewing of A Star Is Born, today! Fantastic show! The theater seating was very comfortable in recliners - service was efficient - parking convenient! We had a great time! I highly recommend the Rave Theater at the Greene!
