Public housing with management that matches. Our roof was leaking, and we called about it for days with no answer. After a while, they did the roofing (not the damaged ceiling), still no response. The roofers also just carelessly threw the shingles and nails wherever. There were a lot of nails in the street after this.

One cold morning, the furnace wasn't blowing hot air, so we called maintenance, and surprise surprise, no answer or call back. Luckily it was an easy fix that I did myself, but still, maintenance should be there the same day for emergencies.

There is no organized schedule for inspections (like monthly), residents get a letter in the mail saying there there will be an inspection in a vague time frame (mon-fri, 9-5) in the next week. It can be several months to over a year between inspections. Most of the time, they say they'll be inspecting, but they never show up, ever.

This is a horrible place to try and live with a family. Dangerous and Carelessness its basically enter at your own risk. Someone was murdered there last summer plus the inside of the apartments are so non safe for babies and young children. They should just turn this space into something else or pay for security frfr
