Red Barn Bed & Biscuit, Ostrander OH

We love the Red Barn Bed & Biscuit! We wanted to take a last minute weekend getaway and they got back to us within minutes! Our Remy always has fun and its so nice to he's in such great hands! Thanks again for everything! Highly recommend!

We have a five month old puppy that we needed to board for an upcoming vacation next month. I had read multiple great reviews about red barn & biscuit so was hopeful that this would be the answer! I really wanted to find a place I would feel safe leaving our new dog. I started off by leaving a voicemail that was never returned. I then submitted an online request for a call back that was never returned. I then emailed yet again and even proceeded to book the dates needed for our vacation hoping that would get me a phone call so I could speak with a human and schedule a visit prior to leaving my dog with these people. Never did I get any response whatsoever. I have now found a place that is responsive, was able to visit and am able to go on vacation knowing she is in good hands. I saw another review that mentioned the same difficulty and their reply was that they are busy caring for dogs- not good enough. You can’t just take reservations for new puppies without ever calling someone back. I would never leave a pet with people that can’t take the time to return a call.

Our 11yr dog has severe separation anxiety. But as soon as we pull on the driveway she gets super excited. She loves this place! We only board once or twice a year but she remembers and is excited when we arrive! Wendy and her family take great care of our dog. Best kennel ever!

My dog had such a good time and made new dog friends on her last stay at Red Barn that she did nothing but sleep when she got home. She always has a good time there, and they take such good care of her. We highly recommend Red Barn Bed and Biscuit.

Our black lab Dasher loves this place! He plays non-stop and is so worn out when he gets home, he sleeps for days! Wendy and the staff always have a story to tell about the friends he makes while there. Dogs are in wonderful, loving hands, highly recommend!

We are so happy to have been turned towards Red Barn! Wendy, Ted and their staff are amazing. They treat their customers like old friends and the dogs are treated like their own. Lizzy was so happy when we picked her up, you could tell how much fun she had. We will definitely return again.

We think they didn’t give our dog his stomach medication to keep him from having diarrhea from his anxiety because he lost 15 pounds in less than 2 weeks. They also didn’t give us any of his medicine back.

1st experience boarding our dogs and this place exceeded expectations. The owners are very thurough on explaining things and make sure your pet is well taken care of. Our 2 dogs came home very happy and tired from the daily walks.

This is by far the best place to board your dogs. I have trusted Wendy and Ted with my three dogs for years and have never been let down. They treat your loved ones like their own an and my dogs are happy to be there. The kennel is the cleanest I have seen and the care is phenomenal. Dropping off and picking up is easy and they make sure they have all the information they need when you leave your dogs to give them the best care possible. I have even received text message updates on my dogs when away for several days. The setting is a quiet farm in Ostrander with acres of land where they are walked daily. I can't say enough about this place. I tried several kennels when I first moved to Ohio that are closer to my home and was disappointed every time. It is well worth the drive to go on vacation knowing my pets are being cared for the way I care for them.

Keegan loves to go by Wendy, he starts to whine as soon as we pull in their driveway. Best boarding place in the Delaware/Columbus area.

I am a "would be" new customer; however, after 3 days of trying to reach someone at this facility and getting no reply-not even to find out if there was availability-we decided that this was an indication of a place where we would NOT be comfortable leaving our pet. I am in complete shock that a business would carry on with such disrespect and carelessness for consumers, especially in the line of work dealing with people's family members such as their pets. I have read previous negative reviews regarding this same issue and despite the owner's replies, they evidently haven't prioritized this to correct it as they state. If your lack of organization and common courtesy to figure out how to manage inquires and communication are any indication on how you run this kennel, I am relieved we've gone elsewhere!

We came to this lovely place more than a year ago and were overjoyed to find such a wonderful spot for our little dog Gemma. Wendy and Ted are great people and lavish as much attention and affection on our Gemma as we do ourselves. The kennels are always spotless and have plenty of room, Gemma has an inside area and an outside one. So she can choose where she socializes. The dogs are also exercised on long walks around the farm at least twice a day. Gemma is always excited to stay with Wendy and tired out when she gets home. We would never trust anyone else with Gemma. Red barn B and B is the absolute best.

We have been boarding with Red Barn Bed and Biscuit for over 5 years. This place is truly the best. It is very easy to request a reservation (but do it early because they fill up fast). The owners treat your dog like one of their own. Eddie, our Wheaten Terrier loves going to the Red Barn. In fact, I think he would rather live there, than with us.:) He comes home exhausted (lots of LONG walks and playing while he is there). If you haven't tried The Red Barn, do it! (your dog will thank you)

We've really had a great experience with Red Barn Bed & Biscuit. My dog is happy to go there and well taken care of. I hate to leave her, but I am confident that she is getting the attention that she needs while I am gone.

I have had many excellent experiences with Red Barn and Biscuit. I feel safe leaving my dog there. It's really hard for us to leave her, but I feel comfortable knowing she is being well cared for. We are going out of the country for two weeks and Wendy is the only person I feel comfortable with.
If you've had issues with communication, give them another chance. Ostrander doesn't have the best cell phone coverage and very slow service regarding computer service. This family is very dedicated to providing the best service possible. I am very happy we found them.
