This company is the worse. After I accumulated a school loan that the advisor from the school help me apply for financial aid. The school claimed that they cannot help me and that I still have to pay for some thing that I was approved by financial aid for. I went to Reliant capital and I asked them for help to dispute it, and I had nothing but I got nothing out of it just an irritated agent that I was not trying to help. Then I asked to settle and they denied it. Which I guess is the schools decision. After not being able to figure out a way to settle and I’m denying any sort of settlement. I was stuck I was going to make a payment plan option. I asked them to email me the letter the same day if that was possible and I still haven’t received it. Then when I called to follow up on it, it seem like they were so annoyed with my call and my follow up as if they were the ones who is paying for something that they shouldn’t even be having to pay for. It’s like the choose the worse women to work for them. It’s always the women at this company who are rude and annoyed. Which is so sad because you would think they would be the most helpful.

I was contacted by these absolute scumbag people and the man was asking for someone named Sampson which I didn’t hear probably because I was in the shower when I answered the call and I politely apologized and asked how I could help him and that I didn’t catch what he had said or who he was trying to reach he then repeated Sampson and I said wrong number sorry and he proceeded to rudely say to me you asked how you could help me so how is this the wrong number so I then was not so polite and let the man know that he was a disgusting, rude, and disrespectful person and told him to F off and go f himself. Just from that brief interaction I was so mad at how I was just spoken to and reverse searched the number and found this company and seen so many people talking about how they were treated so rudely and I honestly hope everyone of the scumbags who are calling and trying to scam people all have the brakes go out in their cars going down a steep hill towards a cliff. From reading reviews I have gathered they call people claim they have student loan debt because so many people do have student loan debt so it’s a broad net they are throwing out hoping someone to will grab or because they do have student loan debt they don’t question the legitimacy of these people they then ask for a phone payment most people probably aren’t okay with giving out card info so they have a fake website and send people fake credentials to go online and make a payment knowing it won’t work for them and they give it two days and call the people back knowing more than likely in two days time they would have more than likely tried to get into the fake account they were given and state they saw fake log in attempts and then ask them to just go ahead and make a phone payment since the website they provided isn’t working. SCAMMERS. TRASH. And I am betting they count on people not having the follow through enough to actually contact the better business bureau to check their legitimacy but guess who is on hold with a representative for the better business bureaus as I type this, and once they confirm you are not a legit business I will make sure they are made aware of these scamming lowlifes

I don’t have a debt with you. STOP SPAM CALLING ME. They call to ask for someone who must have had my number before me. And they refuse to stop calling me when I tell them.

I don’t have debt, and I’ve never taken out a loan. You’re never going to be taken seriously as a “legitimate company” through the phone calls.

They are very unprofessional, saying my credit will take a hit if I don't pay in full, everyone's saying it's a scam, and I believe them. I don't have a credit card, nor do I have anything else for them. When I received a call today, they left a voice mail, I am mearly a waitress that gets paid 2.16 an hour. They are trying to take me for every time, and when they called back, left a voicemail. No name of who they were nothing. When I asked for a payment plan in the past, the guy seemed upset. There's a reason I did community service for college, I'm a broke college student. Don't give them any money. Instead take them to court, they are 1 started for a reason.

UPDATE: called my healthcare provider that Reliant claimed filed the collection and my provider had no record of doing business with Reliant and I had no outstanding balance. Absolute SCAM.
This company has called me multiple times. At first I did not answer because I did not recognize the number (no voicemails left). Then when I answered, nobody would respond (this happened twice). Finally, when I received a response I was told about my outstanding debt. They asked for payment over the phone, but I refused to provide my credit card as that seems very distrustful. I was provided a file number and website address to pay my debt. I tried several times to log in but could not. I was then called again by Reliant Capital a couple days later and they said they saw multiple failed login attempts from my account and asked again for payment over the phone, which I refused again. When asked why they couldn’t fix their website so I could log in, the representative stated they weren’t sure why it wasn’t working. Not my problem if your website doesn’t work. Figure it out.

This company has called my phone 5-6 times since March of this year and they are always sent right to voicemail as I don’t answer unknown calls and keep my phone on do not disturb. I reversed searched the number and it told me that the number is registered to this company. I don’t have any debts, I have never taken out a loan, nor do I even have a credit card. You all should really know who you’re calling, cause you’re wasting your time calling my line- as I don’t pick up the phone for unknown callers.

HORRIBLE company! If I could give them a zero star I would. First they started off very nice but when I stated I couldn’t pay 1600 today the person I talked too turned super rude! I stated if I could do a payment plan and he did not want to at first I asked if I could do it online and what are the steps and he said “it is self explanatory”. I then called back because I could not get into my account and they told me I don’t have authorization due to the amount I owe (which I’ve never heard of) huge RED FLAG! I then went on to make a payment over the phone and asked for an email confirmation to which they flat out DENIED. I stated I could pay one amount the person then went on to say nope sorry that’s not enough. Excuse me! After reading all the other reviews I can honestly say they are spot on. These people are a scam just trying to get peoples money and not letting us look at our account to see how much we owe or nothing which is beyond fishy to me. If I could give zero stars I would because they do not care about people at all.

I had a debt that I paid in full with them for a little over $200.it was removed from my credit reports.and hasn't been on my reports for months.and today I was informed, through an email, that this was reported to Equifax as unpaid.and that I still owe this debt. I was told my information would be forwarded to a supervisor. I have all information and bank statements showing this debt is paid in full. It is absolutely not okay for a paid in full debt to be reported as unpaid.this takes a hit on my credit.

This is a scam! Please do not trust this company. I had a debt with a school that recently garnished my tax return and paid most of what I had due left. I just received a statement from this company saying that I owe $2000 more than what I have left. I gave these people my card info and a payment to go towards what I have left! I will be taking legal action against this company. Please beware.

This is a terrible company! I spoke to a person named Erin today for a debt issue that I have been dealing with from a college I attended who are currently acting in bad faith and are trying to bully me into paying a bill. When I spoke to her initially she nicely said I had to reach out to my institution about this bill. I reached out to my institution and because I was able to prove the bad faith I was currently dealing with they stoped the claim to collections. I was then reached out again a few weeks later by this company and spoke to Erin where she rudely made it clear that whatever bad faith was going on with the school was none of her concern and she would be sending me to collections any way! Also although I tried to explain the situation she was more concerned with rushing me off the phone and twisting my words as if she knew more about this situation with my college than I did. Do Not Pick Up The Phone If These People Call You! It will be of no advantage to you and will only lead to more stress! Currently waiting for a response from a lawyer to deal with this matter! Beware! I will also be reaching out to the better business bureau for this company as well!

Rude a$$holes. Charged me an outstanding amount of fees. Took my payment and haven't posted my payment to the university for over almost 3 weeks now. They are just money grabbing scumbags! I wish there was a way to file a lawsuit against such greedy dirtbags!
