Rent-A-Center, Warren OH

I make sure to read everything now rather than just browse. I wanted a very basic washer for my single son and I ended up paying more than I want to and it's not even new. I like my store and the staff but you can't just trust that they're giving you the best deal. The only reason I'm still going to RAC is because for the most part they're good guys where I rent and we have history.

We rented with RAC for 10 years and never had any problems, and they were always so kind, especially the two michaels lol. (Thank you Mike!) We were referred to Eagle rental and had a terrible experience with customer service. Eagle is very rude, inconsiderate, unprofessional, and disrespectful to their clients. Rent a center in champion for life! Thank you to you all for great customer service, and fast delivery.

I switched banks recently and have been calling my payments in the last few due dates. Last time I was on the phone with the store and paid my bill, I asked them twice when my next payment was due (because there was a mixup on when my payday way every two weeks).
I was told December 18th.
I called in today to pay my bill and I was told it was 180. I asked why and then was told my payment was due on the 4th. I was upset because with the holidays approaching, and other bills I had paid this week, I just simply do not have the money today to pay a double payment.
When I told him I was told the 18th he asked if I remember who I spoke with. I said no, I wasn’t given a name (even today I wasn’t told a name of who I was speaking with). I was put on hold so he can speak to his manager. When he picked the line back up he said “ there is no record of anyone telling you that”. As if I was lying.
I’m not a Karen. I have no reason to lie about something like that. I never even usually leave business reviews on Google…. I’m just super upset.
When I asked him if I could pay a payment for the next 3 weeks. One today, one next week and then the week after that so I could get my budget straight but still get caught up I was told no in a roundabout way.
I’ve also tried to set my account up online so I could just see my bill and pay it that way and it always tells me that they can’t find my agreement number.
I do not recommend rent a center. Their unprofessional and don’t take notes in their records for quality customer service and apparently accuse you of lying when you aren’t at all.

Do not rent from here they won't work with you my pay off date is today I'm on SSI and tried to get a small exstention and they refused to work with me the store manager was rude and triead saying I had 6 months to come up with the money when the new pay off amount just recently updated what I owe I am CALLING HIS CORP AND HIRE UPS AND HAVE CALLED COUSTOMER SERVICE AND SIT ON HOLD FOREVER HARDLY GET ANYONE HUSBAND IS ON HOLD WAITING SOMEONE TO ANSWER AT COUSTOMER SERVICE

Absolutely love this location! Been renting from them for 2 and a half years and never had a problem. Customer service is great! They help you out however they can to make it easier for you. Best place I’ve ever rented from. Totally love them.

DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS STORE!
THEY'RE VERY IGNORANT AND WILL HARASS THE HELL OUT OF YOU IF YOU MISS A PAYMENT AND WON'T WORK WITH YOU!
