Reservoir Park reviews
16Great little park to bring the kiddos to. Theres alot to do here and nice big areas also so you can so your own thing also.
I was disappointed that the rope swing was broken! My 4 year old grandson wanted to ride it. I hope it gets fixed think some bigger kids broke it a few days ago rumor has it.
Pet Guards Clinic had discount Rabies and other shots clinic. Parking was terrible because there were several youth football games going on also. Building and grounds seem clean and well cared for.
Great place to go and relax and get right.
I'm an avid walker and I love going to all the parks and trails I can
The staff that work here are wonderful and hard working! All the guards are well trained and take their jobs seriously!
However, because of regrettable hiring decisions by the City of Akron, they are seriously understaffed. Because of this only Reservoir or Perkins are open every other day. The city needs to get their priorities straight.
They have a zip line for kids and adults under 200lb that is a complete riot. My grandkids loved it. Im 60 and we played for a solid hour on it and the squeals of joy from my grandkids was a spectacle in of itself. Go to the east side of the park and park in the northern most lot right in front of the zip line and enjoy. Respect places if a line exist. Prior to your turn we usually return the rider and carriage back to the launchpad. Your good till sundown at this location and i consider the facility ada compliant! Have fun its free!
The new playground is absolutely adorable. Its so nice to have such a wonderful safe place to take my kids
Great Community spot playground, basketball courts, and the pool is clean and very well staffed with lifeguards and a police officer on duty.
My grand daughter loves the zip line at this park that and the swings. So I love taking her. They also have basketball courts and a swimming pool if they ever open it again.
1st time there. It was very relaxing. The lady helped me register for myself & other household members without hesitation. My clients loved it
I only think of one word when I look at them pictures I keep thoughts and myself keep you next I love her
There aren't enough places to sit at the baseball diamond and there is not enough parking.
What a difference from when I was a kid. I love ALL the paint work and effort the community has given to the res.
Nice park. Has newer playground. My kids are 11-14 and they have fun playing basketball and tennis here (both are not updated but the kids don't seem to mind. There is a public swimming pool here but you have to register online to have access to it which is not an extra step I'm interested in since I can take my kids to portage lakes and i don't need to make any registration for that. Plus portage lakes is nicer and less people. Besides the pool area. This is a nice park and my kids enjoy visiting often. It's kept clean and we feel safe here.
Nice park, No playground for Smaller children. But definitely an ok place for young teen's!
Basketball courts, tennis courts, volleyball, children's swings, teeter totter, child's " zip line", swimming @ in ground pool during season. Gazebo, picnic benches, baseball & football fields.
Con: public restrooms are almost always locked no matter the time!
