Restaurant Silla-Korean Cuisine, Columbus OH

I had Jjamppong and shrimp fried rice and it was so delicious.
The owner is so kind. I will go back to eat jjamppong again.

Best way to describe my experience at Silla is disappointing, frustrating and a let down.
Being the only white people here we got stared at getting a feeling like,
"you're not welcome here. "
Whatever it's just my paranoia. The 1 waitress that was running around all 10 tables took 30 minutes to get to us to take our order, by that time our plastic cups of water were gone and we had an impossible time trying to read the menu because we can't read Korean. I love different cultures and showing the upmost respect for people trying to make a living in a country they weren't born in.
However, when your menus are so confusing and your over worked waitress can't take the correct sushi order and getting a ahold of, again, your only waitress we saw we couldn't explain that she grabbed the wrong order but we didn't wanna waste more of our time.
Also the miso soup tasted like sink water.
I will not be coming back to this establishment to eat.

Compared to other Korean restaurants, the side dishes were very good and tasted great! Especially the seafood and green onion pancake! I always went to the other two places, but the ingredients for green onion pancakes were very different (I always order green onion pancakes). The chicken and sundae soup were delicious too!
Why haven’t I come here before? I regret it with my husband.

Best experience I’ve ever had at any restaurant, the woman that helped may have been the owner and she was super nice and made me and my friend feel welcomed. We felt like family and were treated with the most respect it was so unreal and then the atmosphere was so laid back and relaxed. The inside looks very clean and brand new, you can tell the owner cares about the appearance of and service provided by her restaurant.

I think it just opened but it was horrible service. The menu they brought was not the menu that was currently offered. They ran out of bulgogi. Not a very good dining experience. Also couldn't print out a receipt to show how much we were being charged for items!

Moon, the owner, is very friendly.

We ordered dol sot bibimbap, fried chicken, seafood pancake, bul go gi, and bossam.

All delicious and quite good Korean food within Ohio.
The alleyway entrance is cool because it gives it a speakeasy vibe.

Delicious food, a lot of the same stuff that the old owners had which I was pleased to see since I hadn't been here in almost 10 years. Owner is super sweet if you're looking for a different kind of vibe you should check it out.

Hands down my favorite restaurant in Columbus! Everyone is so kind and caring, the food is amazing (so far I’ve ate here three times and had a different dish each time and the food has NEVER been bad). (I believe she’s the owner) always checked on us regularly to make sure the food was okay and we didn’t need anything additionally and just with the few times I’ve been here I always feel so welcome and invited. I will definitely make it a plan to come here whenever I’m in Columbus. Completely worth the trip! I’d rate it even more stars if possible!

It's so delicious and the owner is so kind! I wrote the review late! I had bossam and braised chicken and didn't expect to eat Korean food in the US, but it was just as delicious as eating it in Korea! I plan to visit again! May you prosper!

Great restaurant that’s open til 1 am! There’s not too many late night restaurants in Columbus and this one is a gem. The food is authentic and delicious, the service is great, plus they have a karaoke stage that’s always available and running. We got the bossam and seafood pancake, plus the seafood soon tofu. Good portion size and tons of complimentary banchan!

It’s been a long time since last time we visited, so walking in and seeing the new renovations was a little surprise. It’s cute and comfy.
Host was super super nice, brought out a salad for us, then we ordered Japchae, seafood soon tofu and chicken fried rice. I was surprised when she brought out like 12 small dishes lol we had a good time.

Amazing food Amazing Service met the owner she is so sweet and amazing! My brother and I were very happy after our meal. The owner even gave us a couple of sides woth our take home. We will definitely be back and come on a weekend to do Karaoke!

I’ve tried their fried chicken, beef tare-tare, kimchi fried rice, steamed egg, and a few other things. High quality ingredients, full of flavor, hard to not like. Great service and they even have a karaoke stage/machine.:) good selection of soju and sake.
