Restoration Therapist LLC reviews
8Wish I could leave one star. This guy done made me mad. My first session with him was non theurapeutic. He was argumentative and delved right into my chidhood and made me feel shamed for what I went through. Please don’t use him. It’s a shame you can’t even go to therapy for healing because of stuff like this.
Upon learning that I, his patient, had been assaulted based on my identity as a gay man, he decided that the best way to help me process this trauma was to remind me that it was not illegal in the United States to be gay and that I should be thankful for that. When I challenged this as being an inappropriate response, he took it as a personal attack, and escalated our telehealth therapy session into an argument where he was yelling at me and eventually hung up.
I had a very hard time going to counseling consistently. When I was five months pregnant and a soon to be single mother, I decided to take my mental health seriously. Terrence did not give up on me and let me come back time and time again until I was really ready. Now I’m in school with a bright future for myself and my son. He’s very honest, super flexible, and has never made me feel judged by the life decisions I’ve made.
Restoration Therapist Terence Rozzell genuinely cares about each and every patient, and gives excellent guidance on how to manage the challenges of everyday life, family or relationship issues. I highly recommend him. He can be flexible to meet the needs of his clients, follows-through with a personal game plan for each, and is very dependable and trustworthy.
Very compassionate and interested. Helped me immensely. Offered numerous resources to assist me on my journey to wellness. I would definitely recommend Mr. Rozzell to others.
I have been a client of Mr. Rozzell for almost two years and I have found him to be very kind, empathetic and professional. He was able to work with me when I lost my insurance to make sure I was able to receive regular sessions and continue my path to better mental health. Mr. Rozzell has always been available either in office or through telehealth. He even makes himself available for unscheduled sessions via text or an as needed phone call.
It's incredibly hard to find a LGBT friendly therapist, so when we finally do, it's heartbreaking to learn your friends spent their whole session getting lectured to and judged for their seemingly strange relationship. Therapists of all people are supposed to ask questions, not interrupt with prejudice every 40 seconds. Try to find someone a little more empathetic.
