Rettig Music, Dublin OH

Went in not knowing it was primarily a marching band instrument type store and they STILL had a set of classical guitar strings… just because they like to be prepared.

I was 1 day late and they charged me a full amount. And I tried talking to them but they threatened me with the credit bureau.stay away from these people.

My experience with Rettig Music has been exceptionally poor. If you would like to be told 5 different things by 3 people who cannot remember what they told you, then this is the music shop for you. Want to be told paying off your instrument early will still include maintenance only to be quoted 100$ for one routine maintenance once you have paid almost 2,000$ for an instrument? Then this is your kind of shop. Want to be informed that there will be no issues getting you a final receipt of total money paid over two and a half years to rent only to turn around and be passed from person-to-person and informed you are asking too much? If you love to overpay and be assured of great service while receiving nothing, then this is your kind of place. The entire company seems to be a scam preying on parents who are unable to pay up front for expensive instruments. The prices are inflated and the service sucks. Run, don't walk from this place.

Excellent customer service. I have worked with several people at this location and every one of them has gone above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. They make everything as easy as possible for their customers.

Rented a viola, bow came with very few hairs, they were all brown and dirty. Instrument was not in best condition. They said the shoulder rest would come on tuesday, but it never did and they claimed their inventory was low even though they promised it by a date? Arrived later and it broke when I tried to adjust it. I should have just ordered on Amazon. Given this is not my first time with rettig, I am very dissapointed with their responsibility

Always helpful and answer questions honestly for non-musical parents. Very helpful in letting my son try out several clarinet at their annual sale. Great service and payment plans.

Got my trumpet cleaned and repaired. The quality was very good and my trumpet has shined this much in quite a few years! I would recommend instrument cleaning and repair!
