Dr. Pawling was completely neglectful of my pets. Spent over $1500 in tests and only received a 40s voicemail with a quick summary of the results and medicine needed. For the next month (while my elderly cat was clearly in pain and his infection growing worse) I called 7 times and showed up in person 3 times to ask for more information about the test results and to start on the vet recommended medicine, being told everytime the doctor was too busy and will call me eventually. Only after threatening to come protest outside did I finally get a response from Dr. Scott Pawling that my medicine was ready to pick up. I came to get it same day and it was not the right medicine. Receptionist, Janet M, assured me the doctor read the test results and it showed no bacteria infection so my cat didn't need antibiotics. I then played the original month old voicemail of the vet saying my cat was tested to have a bacterial infection and needed antibiotics. She reluctently went and confirmed with the vet, refused to answer any questions and sent out a different but more professional receptionest to help me while standing around the corner telling her what to tell me. The new girl (Jacqueline) brought out a week doseage of antibiotics as prescribed by the Scott Pawling and gave good detailed instructions on how to administer it. I was then told I had all I needed but I followed up to confirm a week of antibiotics is all that is needed for the infection. Jacqueline went to confirm with Dr. Pawling who then told her I need to keep my cat on antibiotics for 4 weeks. At no point were they going to inform me of this before walking out and the follow up appointment was for 4 weeks later. Scott Pawling should be ashamed of his neglectful care of living animals and actually give patients the 5 minutes they need to ask questions and get the right medicine for their beloved pets.

Under new management and with exceptional service!

We have been going to Richman Animal Clinic for over ten years.

Recently Dr. Richman retired and Dr. Pawling has taken over.

In just a few months we've seen many improvements to an already great Clinic.

Richman Animal Clinic have implemented new technologies to make scheduling, ordering meds and paying for services easier. They partnered with VitusVet so I've now got an app that makes pulling up their medical history and scheduling a snap.

There are new payment plans to spread out medical costs if necessary. Appointment confirmations are done via text or email now.

The best of all? LOWER PRICES! My wife and I are frequent flyers due to having a large brood; we've both noticed vet visits have gotten noticeably less expensive now that Dr. Pawling and crew are at the helm.

Give them a try, you will be delighted! Highly recommended!

The staff is so friendly; the office assistant is a beautiful male cat that greets you at the desk if he's up to it. My cat allows the doctor to examine her with no issues and all my questions are welcomed. Richman Animal Clinic gives me the confidence I need as a first time cat mom.

So thankful for Dr. Nabeel and Dr. Pawling always taking great care of our senior dog, Pancake. He loves being there! We love the doctors honesty and feel confident in their recommendations. They truly care about every animal that walks in their doors.

Been coming here for about 3-4 years. The receptionist Janet is extremely rude. Funny how the other low reviews say the same thing. Multiple people have told me how rude she is, and I never noticed until a recent incident. She talks over you, has zero empathy, or regards for long time patients and has no emotion when working with people. The clinic is already slightly depressing when you walk in and she just tops it off. As the first and last person you see or talk to in the clinic/over the phone, she really does do trhhhhthe clinic a disservice. The clinic may now loose two long time patients. They already have lost some I know of that didn’t even want to bother writing a review, thanks to this receptionist. As far as my experience, it was over such a small phone conversation that could’ve been handled on her end much less rude and direct.
Perhaps learn some simple minded customer service skills as front desk worker and I’m sure it’ll positively impact not only the patients, but your own team. Everyone else is wonderful there to work with so it’s sad to see them loose patients for someone else’s terrible attitude. Dr. Pawling is wonderful, and I would love to keep seeing him, but I don’t support such lack of character when working with any sort of medical/veterinary clinic as empathy and positivity and understanding is so important when it comes to the care of my family and pets.

They cannot accommodate small request they're just too busy they used to be the best! We went there for years. We have moved on! They're lost of business We have four dogs &four cats!

Was surprised at the lack of professionalism and sympathy to be honest, charged $340 for x-rays and bloodwork than said they didn’t have resources to diagnose stray in bad shape. Called Sat morning for cat to be put down but they didn’t have doctor on site. Seriously?

My wife and I have been going to this vet for several years and they've been going down hill over the last couple of years. They used to be nice and friendly. They used to provide great service. Now when you arrive for a scheduled appointment they put you in a room and leave you waiting for 30 to 45 minutes. The receptionist they have there Janet is extremely rude. When you complain, Deb who is now the office manager, admits she's too busy and acts like she just doesn't care. My wife asked for a call back from Dr. Pauling. She never received a call. We asked for all of our vet records so we could part ways and we received the run around. They have become very unprofessional and they just don't care anymore. Do not go to this vet.

Excellent staff! From the phone call to make an appointment to the diagnosis and treatment plan, a very good experience. Dr. Nabeel is new to this office, and she is a great addition! The vet techs are awesome too!

My cat just moved in.:) When Dr. Pawling examines my cat it's great to see how he's comfortable with him.
This clinic has been the best! The staff is exceptional. Not only are you welcomed from the moment you enter but upon your exit. This entire staff is so awesome! You can't go wrong here.

My pupper and i received the highest level of quality, care, service and support this morning. My pupper was ill, we got a same day appointment. Deb checked us in swiftly. Billy came in right away. I could literally hear Dr Nabeels feet running in the hallway. Everyone apologized for our wait, we didnt even wait. We arrived, received xrays, labs and reviewed treatment plan in about an hour and 20 minutes. I am a nurse and that is incredibly fast and quality care. My nerves were shot at time or I would have said thank you while I was there. From the bottom of my heart, I am truly grateful.

Dr Pawling has helped me keep my
Girl alive for longer than I was told by another Dr. His staff is awesome! I would definatly keep him as a Dr. If I were to get another dog.

When you first arrive, you’re greeted by the amazing Deborah who is truly so kind. The staff as a whole are very helpful and you can tell they take pride in what they do. Dr Pawling is knowledgeable, patient, and informative. My Mozzy went in for a wellness exam and rabies shot, he didn’t even notice he got the shot! That’s how good Dr Pawling is at what he do. I want to thank Richman Animal Clinic for your incredible support and service. I always know that Mozzy is in good hands when he walks through your door.

Richman Animal Clinic is amazing. I switched here from a competitor in the area two years ago and haven’t looked back. They’re kind, clean, and take the time to address concerns. It’s clear they care about the animals they care for. Thanks for always taking such good care of my baby!

They always take great care of my fur babies! Doc and the staff go out of their way to make sure that you know what is going on and understand everything. I never feel rushed. They always take time and listen to what you have to say.
