Rick was at our house in the time frame quoted. He was very polite and fixed our problem quickly and even helped us with a hot water tank issue we had. We couldn't be happier and it was great getting someone out on the same day. We appreciate the hard work and will recommend and continue to use Rick for our HVAC needs.

Came the same day called. Even earlier then expected. Furnance back in service in 15 minutes due to an internal blown fuse.

Amazing company, amazing people. Did me a solid tonight after hours when my furnace was not working? Everyone else I called couldn’t get to me till the morning, these guys made it a point to make sure I was taken care of immediately, no matter what the time was. Greatly appreciated, top-notch company!

Rick's Heating and A/C came highly recommended from a neighbor who needed a new furnace put in. Our furnace had been acting up for a while so I called Rick's, a gentleman answered the phone, listened to my concerns and set up an appt for someone to come out later that day. Ian arrived during the appt time, gave me his professional opinion of the issues and some options to choose from. I ended up deciding to replace the furnace due to it's age and repairing it was only prolonging the inevitable. Let me just take a second to say that replacing the furnace was my idea because the cost of the repairs were only about $1000 less then having a new furnace put in. Ian by no means pressured me into replacing it. I've dealt with a couple other heating and a/c companies who come out and all they want to do is upsell as much as possible. Ian and his helper (sorry I don't remember his name) were very professional and respectful both times they were here. I now have a dependable furnace with a 10 year warranty on parts and labor and will be recommending Rick's to anyone who needs repairs done.

Absolute scam artist.called a second guy that informed me it's a $100 fix and some reprogramming needed done (its a 9 year old furnace). Rick had quoted me 5k to replace to new system, tried to tell me that my heating pump unit was my AC and then attempted to sell me a heating pump unit for 5k. I learned to always get a second opinion and to never call ricks again

I had contacted Rick’s Heating and Cooling through a coworker’s recommendation. Not only did Rick show up in time but he was able to get my furnace going and in operation in a half hour. 2 days earlier I had called PUGH HEATING and they sent someone out that immediately stated that the heat exchanger was cracked and would not light up. His comment was it is going to be about $7,000.00 He never even tried to start up the furnace. I would advise not to use PUGH HEATING. They are out to fix something that is not broken and take advantage of customers. He was here for 25 minutes and I had to pay $190.00 dollars for a bogus diagnostic.

THANK YOU! Ricks Affordable Heating and cooling. YOU GUYS ROCK!

My heat went out on Veterans Day, again a holiday. Had a real bad cold and was huddled in blankets because the heat would not go above 58. So I called and was hopeful to get him here within a day. He actually came out at 8: 30 at night. Got everything up and running was done in no time. I’m a repeat customer because he continues to be a trust worthy guy. God bless you Rick for being a great person. I will recommend him to anyone who asks for a heat and air guy.

The owner Rick Montgomery of the company is the one that showed up for our furnace service call. I will say that he showed up in a timely manner biut then it just kept getting sketching after that.

I have delt with a lot of service calls in my time and they all pretty much play out the same way except Rick's.

Usually, someone comes out, you have a service call fee, then they access the problem, tell you what it is going to cost to fix the problem, ask if you want them to fix it and then either get the part off the truck or tells you how much it is to cost to order the part and when it's coming in and how long it is expected to take to fix. They give you an invoice that you sign agreeing to everything and then you pay for the work.

Rick came to the house, looked at the unit, told me it would be 1300 for a new motor or 5800 for a new unit and when I asked him to price out the aftermarket motor he said he would get me the two prices but instead came in and said he just ordered the motor which would be a 1000.00.

I had the manual to the unit so when I told him that pricing out the part through the manufactor or supply house was much cheaper and that I didn't understand where thw 1000.00 was coming from, he then changed it up and said, "Well we get kits with 2 different parts in it. " When I asked what the other part was and once again looked through the manufacturer and a supply house the price of these 2 parts bought separate not combined (which should be cheaper) was still roughly $500.00 cheaper the the quote. So then I asked for a price breakdown of parts and labor which he could NOT give me.

He kept saying it was just automatically added on, but he was the owner of this company. How would you not know this. He never gave me an invoice about these parts or for the service call while he was there and then I had to ask him what he thought the turnaround for this would be (as he was leaving my house) in which he replied that he would be back at 7 or 8pm and that he would text me.

I find this strange that you would order a 1000.00 part before getting something signed by the customer agreeing to the work and that he wouldn't have checked to see if I would have even been available to have him come back out that evening.

So he left and supposedly didn't do anything to the furnace nor never left me with any paper work or got the service fee from me before he left, but now my furnace is working fine? But I need a 1000.00 part to fix my furnace that seems to be working fine now. I'm so confused. (I'm pretty sure he just cleaned something and that's what the problem was.)

His son did call me after the appointment and gave me a verbal breakdown of the estimate which I told him I would be getting a second opinion before making that big of purchase.

Idk, I don't feel like Rick was even remotely honest with me. I think he thought that since I was a female seemingly at home alone (husband was in bed sleeping) that he could take advantage of the situation.

If he could have shown me why my unit wasn't working and why I needed to pay that price with a proper price break down then I wouldn't of had an issue with it, but he did not do that.
