Right at Home, Columbus OH

Right at Home makes me feel at home in a workplace. I love the clients I meet and appreciate the office team for all of their devoted hard work.

Edit: I used to feel like RAH was a fantastic place to work. Over the past year, it has gone downhill via the management, Misty and Micki. My clients were lied to, communication was lacking, and the management never held themselves accountable for their mistakes - just made excuses and made me feel embarrassed for the clients. They forced me into a meeting to talk about the allegations I made, advocating for my clients who felt they were wronged, and they swept it away saying it was all gossip, rumors, and "non-truths. " They pressured me into quitting because they did not want to fire me and I got fed up with their practices. I will not be recommending them to anyone anymore. Good riddance.

Edit 2: After leaving the company and leaving the above edit to my original review, the owner to the company, JP, texted me the following: "thank you for your nice email and thank you for handling everything very professionally when you left. I am confused about the review though. Let me know what I can do to help you feel better about things" to which I had replied: "What is confusing about the review I left? I was only staying facts and felt like there was no resolution to the allegations I made. If it's still rumor, gossip, non-truth, etc then disregard: I had heard from a SourcePoint coordinator that she was also given red flags about communication with Misty and allegedly won't take Misty's calls anymore, only emails or anything in writing. It seems like a lot of people don't trust her and I simply brought it to light to you and to her, and she was very defensive during our last meeting about my allegations instead of trying to resolve matters. I would have stayed if Right At Home gave me a reason to, but she and Micki asked me multiple times why I would stay if not for my clients. It seemed to me like they wanted me out of their hair and I was tired of arguing with them. Whatever questions you have, I don't mind answering them. I just don't see anything getting better. " And then he never contacted me again. He acted like he was reaching out in good faith but had no respect for my feelings and knowing my side of the story. It makes sense now though, because JP is no longer the owner of this RAH franchise! I used to have respect for JP but no longer.

Continue to stay away no matter the incentives they try to promote.

I don’t know what I would have done without Right At Home. My mom was in need of immediate 24hr care. An amazing, loving woman, Misty, stepped into our lives with open arms. She got her loving caregivers together and allowed my mom to stay at home in a minutes notice! Thank you A special thank you to Ramla and many others who took care of mom. You are my new family and will never forget the kindness.

Right At Home was helping us with mother before Covid hit. They stayed with us the whole time through thick and thin, new rules and uncertainty. Recently they helped us when mother needed to take time sensitive medication. We had a very good experience with them from the providers to billing. It was not a happy day for us when the facility changed and we were no longer able to use their service. We had a particular regard for Madeline but mother enjoyed many of the caregivers. We would utilize their service again.

Amshawu has been amazing caring for my husband. She knows how to redirect him when he is anxious. She is interested in his conversations and focuses on positive thoughts. Not only is she compassionate, she is competent! I know that when she is with him he is getting her full attention and I don’t have to worry that he is ok. I’m so grateful for her kindness toward him and her support for me.

I can't say enough about how Right at Home has helped my family this year! From the very first phone call I made, crying in a hospital lobby, to bringing my dad home, this team jumped in right beside us to be able to care for my dad at home. My family and I are forever grateful for the loving and helpful care that you have provided us. Great people, great hearts, and wonderful moments for my parents. Thank you again!

Right At Home is just my second home, The Admin are amazing, clients are wonderful, it’s so wonderful to be among this lovely team … Myah is just an Amazing person and just ready to make it all perfect for clients and staffs

My mother, Elizabeth Ryan has been receiving services from Chrissy for at least 5 years. The care and concern that she has given my mom has been a blessing for our family, as we have seen their relationship grow over the years. Chrissy has been kind, good humored, and respectful. Even though Mom has developed progressing dementia, it is a delight to see her face light up as she realizes Chrissy has come to visit, or just paused on her busy day to say hello. She is a special kind of angel and we hope she realizes how important her work is. Thank you and God bless you, Chrissy!

Misty, Brent and Chrissy in the Columbus Office consistently offer excellent care and communication. They are top tier and they are reasonably priced as well. They go out of their way to accommodate the specific needs of each individual and I am very Grateful for their services. I highly recommend them.

Right at Home sent me the most wonderful caregiver 9-5, Sophia Wyatt.
She has been at my husbands side doing above and beyond the impossible caregiving needed for his care, for a year now. I look to her for advice on my husband, the Hospice nurses rely on what she imputes on my husbands health and she helps calm my anxiety when I am stressed with my husbands health declining. I could never, ever, imagine my life without her.
Then I have an absolute sweetheart for an evening caregiver, Jaylynn. She has demonstrated that she can do all my husbands needs.
I would like to nominate Sophia Wyatt as caregiver of the year.
And I would like to nominate Jaylynn as caregiver of the month.
And I would like to nominate Misty as administer of the year for all the work she has done in finding my husband and me 2 great caregivers.

Excellent experience! Staff are helpful I called the other day and got helped by Myah she was wonderful! Highly recommend!
