Rite Aid, Wooster OH

The Rite Aid on Cleveland Road in Wooster is terrible. We had to call 3 times because they forgot twice to fill a prescription, then when we got there waited in line for 25 minutes just to tell us they still didn't have part of it done. 4 hours and 4 tries to fill 2 bottles of pills. How does this place stay in business?

Waited in this line, 10 cars deep to find out my prescriptions for my daughter 6 hours after her Dr.appointment were not ready because they were behind. Told me to get back in line again and maybe they'd be ready by then. I waited two hours in line total and to find out the 2nd time around that my prescription was out of stock. Mind you a had two young kids in the car who were not feeling well. Inside of the store completely closed. Associate seemed frustrated with me that I was surprised that my prescriptions were not ready?

The prescriptions for myself and my family are consistently late. I go to pick them up at the time instructed by the refill instructions and they are never ready. I waited in the pickup lane for an hour (because the inside was closed) only to be rudely instructed that I need to come back. I am going to switch to another pharmacy and I encourage everyone to do so as well. Not getting medications on time can be a serious matter. I am extremely disappointed in Rite Aid.

0 out of 10 definitely DO NOT recommend. Every time I have to pick up a prescription they NEVER have it I always have to call another pharmacy to see if they have it.

Was second to next in line at pharmacy. Was told that I needed to come back because they were taking lunch. What a way to treat your customers. Glad I wasn't at the Hospital ER. Was treated with no respect. Changing my pharmacy to Marc's. Rite Aid deserves zero Star Review.

Six times we've tried using goodrx and for some reason everytime we use goodrx for medication it doesn't go through. The right medication dose and type is selected. Price shown crossed out is "WHAT I END UP PAYING" NOT the discount price!

When questioned why it's that way. I'm told rite aids price maybe different than good rx. "NOPE" same price I'm seeing ross3d out is what I end up paying for medication.

Then I'm told to talk to goodrx they say talk to pharmacy. Each of you need to stop passing the buck and own up to the problem and issues with the app, system, what ever it is.

I can see a issue one or two times but six in a row.therrs a problem!

I love this pharmacy. I have been a customer of theirs for over 7 years. All of the pharmacists are so friendly and helpful. Shout out to Seth, Kandi, Mike and Austin the pharmacists. Keep up the excellent work.

Pro tip, go thru the drive thru pharmacy. They prioritize it over the interior customers even when there’s a 4-5 person line. Cheapest scripts in town but the pharmacy is slow af almost every time.

I am so beyond proud of these pharmacists! They are taking on a ton of volume with other local pharmacies not being great. They continue to have a smile on their faces and go above and beyond for their patients. The stress they are under from open to close is immense, working in customer service and it amazes me how great they are still! Thank you!

Besides the fact that they're always losing or outright shorting my prescriptions they violated my HIPPA rights in a huge way of which I have proof. When I seen the situation occuur the tech seemed shocked as she probably felt bad but simply said, what do you wat me to do about it? ! And when I asked who I could contact regarding this she gave me the worst attitude!

I wish I could give zero stars. Not even a store issue. It’s the pharmacy. Other pharmacies in Wooster do not have this issue. I shouldn’t have to wait almost an hour for a prescription when I am told it’s ready to be picked up. 15 minutes was just the employees scrambling around trying to find it. Absolutely trash service. Will be going elsewhere.

If I could, the Wooster RiteAid pharmacy would receive a zero. Each and every time I use it (have to per my insurance), we wait 30 minutes or more for a prescription that was supposed to be filled earlier. Today’s prescription for my brother it was to be filled by 1pm. When we arrived to pick it up, we waited 35 with only 2 cars in line in front of us. When we tried to pick it up, they said they didn’t have it. It was coming from Central Filling. When we asked what that was we were told it was their warehouse and it would arrive by Saturday. That wouldn’t work for us since my brother was leaving on a trip and wouldn’t be back for 4 months. Then we were told to get out of line and they’d have it in 15 minutes. What?

Can usually find what I need on sale, employees are helpful, and Rewards program helps bring costs down. The drive thru pharmacy is also a wonderful plus.

My daughter was seen by urgent care today, antibiotic RX was sent over around 3 pm. At 3: 30ish I arrived and was told to come back in an hour or two. Had someone go at 5: 30 and was told to come back in 2 hours. Called them at 7: 40 to make sure it was ready only to be told come in an hour or so. I have prescriptions that are on auto fill and I get the notice 2-3 days after I run out that my refill was finally filled and ready. I have never had an issue until a couple months ago. I will be switching pharmacies after today. Very disappointed.

I just felt the pharmacy staff needed a HUGE shout out today! I went for a vaccine, they were very short staffed and crazy busy. The staff, even with those circumstances, were above in their quality of customer service. They were all very kind, patient and attentive. I would recommend this pharmacy to everyone! Simply Class A+ Service.

My favorite place to go for the pharmacy. Rest of store I don't use as much but very clean and friendly staff.

The reason for the stars is the way the some of the pharmacy treats people the new pharmacist they got should know much better what's over the counters meds is are if they infected u at all plus they focus more on the stupid covid 19 pay more attention to them then customers thank u sorry for the stars as in for the store they greet u when coming in and when u leaving they deserve the all stars

The pharmacy gave me a prescription drug that was expired! Cyclosporine- an immune suppressant medication filled today January 13th 2022. Expired 12/21. No apologies made to me at all. I feel afraid for my well being and safety I'm just glad I read it before I took it. Not acceptable at all.

Ive been with Orrville Rite Aid Pharmacy for more than 15years I've never had an issue.
I ended up relocating to Wooster switching to Cleveland Rd. It only takes one bad experience to never come back. Extremely rude Pharmacy Tech!

I'll take the 20min drive to Orrville with better customer service
