Rittenhouse Square Condos Association, Columbus OH

Starting to regret moving here. Struggling to get things into a decently maintained state is stressful enough after moving in when previous owner seems to have let things go a bit and all the fun expensive surprises that come up. Its not totally abnormal and I will contend with that for awhile as I can afford it. However the worse part is trying to get anyone to communicate with me about an issue I have in my basement with water and is first time I've really needed to cooperate with the association/Kathi Horvath.

They did get me a new sump pump after it started flooding once but I guess thought they were done with me after that and have ignored me about ongoing water intrusion issues in my walls and ground water.
Over the last 6-7 months I have yet to get any kind of reply when asking about it, no acknowledgement whatsoever.

I now have a large mold problem that I cannot fix until the issue underlying it is fixed, I believe a lot of it was already here when I moved in but was painted over. Once I got it professionally inspected by 3 different companies it is now a level 7/10 large area I need to treat. I can't really afford it once let alone to have to have it remedied again when it just comes back because the water issues are not being addressed so I am stuck with an unhealthy environment.

I have already had to remove one of my pets from my home which are basically my family as living here worsened his respiratory condition severely to where I nearly thought he would need put down as everything his vet and OSU tried to do to help him did not improve his condition. That made me suspect the mold and that it was worse than I thought and that I needed to have moved faster on getting it cleaned up, but is senseless to do so without the water being stopped.

They responded right away regarding something they wanted me to fix (my awning ripped around the time I moved in). Which I had already started taking care of by then but was waiting for it to be made/installed which was a long process for some reason. It just also hadn't been on the very top of my list with all the other things I have ongoing needing fixed.

I am stuck with an unhealthy environment while they ignore me. It is making me hate it here.

Nice property and it was nice to do some ornamental fine pruning in a beautiful little courtyard to help a new owner make the place feel even more welcoming:)

An amazing place to call home! My family and I absolutely love it here and the the residents all around are so kind and such a pleasure to have as a neighbor!
