The experience dealing with Linda was fabulous. Our situation was unique in that we were looking for a seasonal site. Linda was very communicative and willing to help. Although, due to an emergency, we were not able to book for the season and had to cancel our plans. Linda was extremely understanding. We are sad that we did not get to experience the camp ground. After touring it, we were excited. However, we hope to be able to camp there for a week this summer.

The owner, Linda and the camp host, Cindy, are very accommodating. You feel like you are part of a family. I highly recommend this RV park for a seasonal stay or weekend vacation.

Just finishing 2years as a seasonal campsite renter and I can only say great things about the park, and the events there. Best of all were the other campers. All were friendly, and fun loving. I’m sorry to be leaving.

Thank you for the opportunity to be a seasonal camper at your camp ground for the 2022 camping season. But I have some things I’d like to put out there for consideration and future seasonal campers! The price for your seasonal sites verses other camp grounds in the area and their amenities (I know it’s camping, but when you go with your family you want to have nice things to do and activities for the kids to make it a fun weekend) I’ll start with this, seasonal campers shouldn’t be charged to use your shower house, we pay enough money to be a seasonal camper and it covers the cost of water usage whether it be in our camper or in your shower house, it’s the same water. I can see charging the over nighters but the L row bathrooms have a key code and could easily be just for the seasonal campers. Consider installing a fenced area and having a dog park, most everyone there has a dog or two give them a place for us to walk them. This would avoid campers complaining about dogs going potty on their campsites. Give the kids a decent playground besides some beat up Little Tykes play houses and give them a real basketball area besides a home portable basketball hoop. Also, swimming in the lake is fine for some people but for people with small children it would be nice to have a safer cleaner option maybe install a pool. Not everyone has a riverside lot, have a section for shore fishing so everyone can enjoy fishing. There would be plenty of room if you weren’t busy creating campsites and cramming more people in, your making plenty of money! Use it to invest in your campground and make it a nice place. The amount of rules that were added as the camping season were unbelievable, you want to add rules wait until the new camping season, or talk to/ punish those people that do things you do like instead of those campers that keep to themselves. Also the amount of flooding when it rains! OMG this is terrible and needs to be addressed! The first time it rained while we were there we literally were flooded in! I hope this helps future campers thinking about camping at your campground and maybe give you things to consider in the future.

This review is meant for traveling RVers who are not accustomed to the seasonal camping culture in this area. In summary, the majority of this campground is occupied by trailers that remain in place for the warmer months of the year. It seems as though the seasonal campers have a very different approach to camping than most traveling RVers, and the culture of the campground can be pretty jarring for people not accustomed to it.

Our Riverview experience includes a few things I have simply never encountered at other campgrounds. A campground-sponsored DJ playing loud and pounding music until very late on a Saturday night? Why certainly! People driving golf carts while drinking excessively? Check! Children (reminiscent of the bottle kids from Trailer Park Boys - if you know, you know) knocking on the door of our trailer as a prank? Of course! Some dude passed out drunk on the ground next to his trailer? Just extra scenery to enjoy while walking the dogs! The "party" atmosphere at this campground was just not a good fit for us, and we found ourselves very eager to move to a different campground after a couple of days. It's such a shame because the campground is in a beautiful area filled with small-town charm and lots of easily accessible amenities.

All that said, we had truly excellent experiences with the park's staff. They were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and helpful at check-in and as we were departing. The staff are wonderful and this really isn't a bad campground - it's just not the best fit for traveling RVers expecting the same culture that is common at campgrounds that mostly serve RVers in transit.

Been a seasonal camper here for 4 years, and unfortunately this is our last year. I’m a truck driver and I only come home every 3 months, so paying all that money to come camping 3 times a year isn’t worth it. As for the campground, it’s not as strict as some of the other campgrounds around the area. The docks don’t have electricity which sucks if you have a bigger boat that needs shore power. The campground is clean and well maintained. Paying to take a shower is a little extreme, but most campers have showers so that’s not a big deal. The bathrooms are clean, until some nasty people go in there and make messes. Everyone gets along with everyone, never seen an issue the 4 years I was there. There’s a boat ramp for boats, jet ski’s, and kayaks. The past year, it’s been getting cramped with campers, which makes it difficult to use a fire ring due to campers being so close. The drives in the campground are one way, and that’s due to dumb people that can’t drive and pass when another vehicle is coming from the opposite direction. You’re allowed to fish all along the Vermilion River, but not around the beach area, which is smart. Golf carts are allowed. Decks for campers are permitted, and I don’t believe there’s a size limit. There’s events most weekends, so if you’re a stick in the mud and want everything quiet ask if there’s anything going on the weekend you’re wanting to stay or you might get your feeling hurt. All in all, it’s a very good place to come for a weekend or for a season. Don’t let the bad reviews keep you away. Go see for yourself.

Great time at a great RV Park. Boots and the entire staff were welcoming and helpful. The park was clean, well kept and Boots did an unbelievable job decorating for Halloween. Plus, let they our group be the decoration judges.

Labor Day weekend we camped at Riverview RV Park and Marina in Vermillion Ohio. The owner Linda and the Park Manager are extremely nice and accommodating. They had Bingo Saturday night and a singers on Sunday night. They also had a crab boil, which we did not partake in. The sites area bit small, but our neighbors were all friendly. We'll be back next year!

Linda was very welcoming, kind, and helpful both in helping my partner and I get settled and departing. That’s the only reason I didn’t leave a 1 star review.

The Saturday night we stayed we had no idea there would basically be a rave held in the pavilion. The extent of the “activities” that took place during our brief stay here were not communicated to us before we checked in, at any part during the check in process and there was no way to get ahold of anyone Saturday night to ask if we could move to a quieter spot or find out WHEN the noise would end. I (incorrectly) assumed all the posted activities would be things happening during the day light hours for children. This was not the case for us.

Basically- there are 2 types of campers (in my own opinion as this is my review) - there are people who want a peaceful escape from the BS of city life, and there are those who insist on dragging the BS to the campground with them.

This campground is definitely for people that want to bring EVERYTHING with them from home, not simplify or get away from it.

If you’re a local looking for a fun place to party while camping, this is a great option to consider. Wouldn’t recommend it as a place to stay while passing through or if you’re in from out of town to visit.

This is a lovely old tree shaded rv park, quiet and clean. The people and staff were friendly and helpful! The only thing missing was a dog park for the fur babies to run free, but they enjoyed the stay as well! I would definitely go back if I am in the area again.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Having a concrete pad for our 25’ trailer plus truck was a real treat. They even have a pad for the picnic table. Bathrooms are clean. Couldn’t find the dumpster for garbage. Overall a very nice campground for our one night stay.

Linda and Cindy were awesome in the way they greeted us and made sure we felt welcome. The two spots we were on had new concrete pads and were clean and easy to park in. They checked with us several times to make sure we were satisfied. Clean and quiet park.

Our first year camping and I am so glad this was the place we picked. Everyone is friendly and very helpful. We had the best summer in a very long time. Very relaxing, peaceful and just good old fashion fun. Our kids, grandkids and our dogs love going to camp every weekend. Thank you Linda and everyone else for an amazing summer. Cannot wait until next year.

2nd year here and we have not missed a weekend yet. Lots of activities for the kids and the fishing is fantastic!

Wow, what a great experience! Linda and Cindy are 1st class and have the customer service game dialed in. The park is clean, residents are friendly, and there is a ton to see and do along Lake Erie! Highly recommended!

We just finished our first season and could not be happier (other than it is coming to an end for 180 days). This place is fantastic. Great scenery, great people, and great location (right on the river leading to lake Erie). The campground has live concerts and great activities, and the club across the river has some too which we can enjoy like they were our own. You cannot go wrong going to Riverview.

Update little over half way through year 4. I didn't read my old review but everything I said is still true. Still a great place.
