Roads Rivers and Trails reviews
20 What a great store! I wish there was still something like it in Columbus. I was helped by a beautiful woman named Emma. She was so helpful; provided quick and easy to understand information.
Emma, will you marry me?
I went to Roads, Rivers and Trails to get a roof carrier for my kayaks. I had done some looking on the internet and was overwhelmed by all of the different options. The person who helped me was great! She showed me several different styles and told me the benefits and negatives of each. I had a lot of questions about how to strap them down and she patiently answered them. I ended up getting the Thule Hull-a-Port XT. While it was slightly more expensive than the off-brands, it was well worth it because it is much easier to put on and remove from the roof rails and much easier to load. Had I not gone to this store, I probably would have gotten some cheap model and would have been hating life. I just did my first drive with the kayaks loaded up and it worked perfectly. I was able to load and strap them down quickly because of the instruction I received. Great job RRT!
We were so happy to have found this store. We had been looking for Altras, and were having a hard time finding the size we needed, not only did they have the Altras, the also had the pair of Salomons we wanted as well. The sales people were knowledgeable and friendly. We will return.
My wife and I love this store! The staff is very friendly and super funny! As long as we live in the Cincinnati area, we will be shopping here for our outdoor needs.
I wanted to get out during Covid-19, and Roads Rivers and Trails hit a home run. I was able to get 2 kayaks, paddles, PFD’s, and everything needed for some water time. They were professional, helpful, and even drove my purchase down from Cincinnati to my home in Frankfort. You can trust RRT for your outfitting needs!
Friendly people and great products. They helped me pull out a sleeping mat, figure out how to pump it up, and I got to lay on it before buying it.
I love to shop local when possible, and the RRT shop has everything I’ve needed for backpacking, camping, and even travel (I almost bought one of their car top carriers). On top of great selection, the employees all have a huge knowledge base to answer questions and help get you in the right gear.
Friendly, well stocked outfitter, for your best dressed adventures; wherever they may take you.
Love the outdoors? Then you will love this shop in Milford. A must stop for accessories, clothing, books, equipment, shoes plus more for everything to enjoy our beautiful rivers & trails! Knowledgeable staff & great hometown service!
The people here, time after time, really know their stuff. They refuse to sell sub-par merchandise because they're routinely testing it by going on adventures. In my opinion, RRT, Brian, Emily, and Joe set the standard for running a small business and building a strong team around them.
This place is hands down the BEST outdoor rev store in the area. The staff is knowledgeable, polite, and an overall joy to be around. The inventory is top notch and diverse. I'm a huge fan of supporting local and this is my favorite way to do it.
Emily was so very helpful, patient & knowledgeable. Didn't make you feel bad that you didn't know what you were exactly looking for. Gave helpful advice. Store was arranged nicely.
Excellent products at reasonable prices, knowledgeable staff, active in the community. The go-to place for outdoor-oriented people in the Cincinnaticarea.
Stopped by here while walking through the area. They've got a huge selection of outdoor gear and the prices were surprisingly great. High quality stuff without the huge price tag.
Great staff and very friendly. Always nice to be able to support a locally owned business. Wide range of outdoor gear. Will return and highly recommend.
Good selection of hiking shoes and socks, incredibly helpful staff, a great place to go to prepare for outdoor adventuring.
Good prices and the staff are super helpful. They weren't just attentive but they made a suggestion that I didn't think through myself. Definitely going back!
Very nice, helpful staff!
they went above and beyond to help me out.will definitly be back!
RRT is a great little independent outfitter for all things outdoors. I have been a big fan since they opened up several years ago. If you're trying to get outfitted for the PCT or just a day hike look no further than RRT.
Great local store with an amazing selection of nearly everything you would need for backpacking, kayaking, hiking, etc.
