Rock City Church Polaris reviews
11I watched the service for the first time since moving to Columbus very nice young pastor can tell he believes in what he preaches will watch again
I was there for a Columbus Crusaders football game and can say I was treated very well. I was there covering the game for pafootballnews.com.
Very disappointing that Pastor Pete has left because the board at Polaris Church decided to merge with Rock City Church. Polaris Church will be called Rock City Polaris. They informed the membership that they will be streaming Rock City services to the Polaris location. To me this isn't church. Why would you come to a church to watch a service being held some place else? I want my pastor to be there live. So you can talk and discuss if needed. Very disappointing that the Polaris Church board did this. Now it's off to find a new place to worship.
I'd like to post this with no star's. Tried to get a job here the office decided not to hire for the position after I already quit my job. I had no job for over a month which made me very mad
Excellent sports fields. I have not attended service here but from their sports teams they love Jesus and are his followers.
Crusader ministry is fantastic and why I go to this location. They have a fantastic sports program. Football, rugby, flag football, cheerleading and more.
I visited this church that my daughter attends. They gave a very good Christian bible based message.
I wasn't sure at first, but I'll tell you this is one of the best churches I've been too. Just one sermon was all it took to know this would be our home church.
My wife and I were invited to our nieces baptism about 2 1/2 years ago. And we are still visiting. Very contemporary praise and worship music and some of the best Bible teaching I've heard in my short existence as a Christian. Challenging contemplation for a relationship with GOD. Not a religion. If your not a believer: Come and feel what Jesus' love may have been in the beginning of his teaching ministry of: GOD, forgiveness, redemption, self worth.eternity. If you don't leave with a little more joy than when you came in. Look for me, I'll buy you lunch
There are no 24hr churches anymore. God is only there when it's convenient for the pastor, not when you actually need him
When we initially set out to find a church, we promised ourselves we would try a few different ones. Polaris Church was the first we tried. Our first Sunday we screamed “We’re new here” with our body language, but everyone made us feel so welcome. Not just the greeters, but other families walking around saying hello!
When you’re trying to find a church with two toddlers, your biggest concern is them! I was worried about leaving them and if they’d like it. Much to my surprise after our first visit, they cried when it was time to leave!
Fast forward 10 months later and we are still loving it. We have met some great families, our kids LOVE their teachers, and in such a small world my husband and the lead pastor have a mutual chiropractic friend/colleague. We never did try any other churches and we don’t regret that decision one bit! It’s been amazing to experience Polaris Church and we couldn’t be happier.
