This is an incredible, but small park that is well worth visiting, but first set your expectations appropriately. Within a few hundred feet of each other, there is a beautiful covered bridge, a mill that first existed in 1799, and a nice waterfall. Some people might see that list and think it must be a massive, expansive park with lots of trails. It is not. There are only a few hundred feet worth of trails.

And that is OK! It is more than OK. It is beautifully situated and is in the country (but is within 10 minutes of route 33!) and the county has taken the time to preserve its history and that is to be commended and appreciated. The park volunteers are knowledgeable and friendly. Everything is completely worth exploring and I will be frequently returning to this spot.

What a lovely find. The road that went through bridge is closed off. But off road parking on each side of approach is so nice. There is an old farm and it is turned into a lovely park. A few picnic tables and a scenic Porta potty. We watched folks taking their formal photos on the property. I hate the huge red road signs so tall they block the beauty of the bridge one direction. Plus, now access to the scenic lower river edge is no longer accessible. A shame. The old farms owners had to fence off due to bad tourists, I am sure.
