Eric and Jeff were right on time and very professional and courteous! Terrific service, took the time to explain the whole process and cleaned up after themselves. We couldn't be happier with our new countertops and we would recommend Rocksolid Surfaces to anyone!

This review is a long time coming. I had about 120 square ft of quartz countertop installed November of 2021. It was ordered through Costco, and Rock Solid is the sole contractor for Costco orders in the area. The sales person came and measured and gave me a quote for what we picked out. Day of installation everything seemed fine, the guys did their job and went on their way.

A short time later I noticed a ton of scratches, so I contacted the sales rep to see what happened. Not only were there scratches, but there was a piece that had chipped and was filled prior to installation. And to top it off the edge profile was reversed on one piece so it made the seam misaligned when it was put together.

I have an island that is 10 feet long and in two sections. There are scratches the entire length of the island. There is a small 4 square ft section by the stove that has a scratch so deep I my fingernail catches on it. And I’ve already mentioned the chipped and filled piece that was used by my faucet on the rear of the farmhouse sink.

I sent pictures and someone came out to verify. I figured something could be done to polish out or fill the scratches, but I don’t hear back. I followed up a while later and was told someone would be in contact. I followed up again, and was told someone would be in contact.

Nearly a year later I called and they sent out the same person that originally came to take pictures the year prior. He tried to fill the scratch, and while I appreciate the attempted repair it only made it look worse. He was able to sand down the edge profile, so at least that was fixed the best it could be. The rep from the quartz company also came and took pictures. Now it’s nearly another year later and multiple follow ups and still nothing from Rock Solid.

I’m a patient person. I’ve give them multiple opportunities to contact me to discuss my options and have heard nothing. I signed the paper after install saying everything was done, but not realizing that I should have inspected every inch of countertop first. I honestly wasn’t concerned about the island, I really only wanted the piece with the deep scratched fixed and the small piece with the chip fixed.

At this point I don’t expect anything, and you shouldn’t either if any issue comes up after install. I’ll probably write Costco to tell them how disappointed I am. I hope whoever sees this learns from my mistakes. As soon as install is completed and before final sign off and payment you better inspect every square inch. Otherwise if there’s a problem you shouldn’t expect Rock Solid to fix it.

Just had our new granite countertop installed today by Jeff and Chris. Couldn't be any happier than I am today with their professionalism and their friendliness. They both were excellent workers and yet took the time to address my questions and concerns. Jeff took a lot of time explaining every step to us. The initial crew that came out, the daughter was very nice and did a nice job with the countertops, which are beautiful. The gentleman did an okay job with the seam but could tell I was not happy with it. He did not spend much time going over maintenance and care of it
Jeff and Joe came out after I requested some assistance. They were amazing. They showed up early which I appreciate, made my seam look almost non existent, explained to me not to clean the area for 24 hours, and how to care for the countertops. They were great!

Jeff and Joe just completed our bathroom countertop install. They did amazing work, cleaned up after themselves. It was quick and the countertops are beautiful. Can’t even see the seam. Thanks again for doing such a great job.
