Rodeway Inn, Wauseon OH

Stop for a few hours of sleep. Paid with debit card several hours after originally paying for room i received notification card was being charged again for second. On way to office I received notification of a third try to charge card. Desk clerk asked me to prove it was him charging card. Hope i don't have anymore trouble.

Went there for a work trip was there for 6 days working 12 hour shifts 11am-11pm at the ohio fair, I would come back to the hotel after work my towels would still be dirty, then i would go up there after work obviously to get new ones they would tell me i need to come before midnight so i told him that he needs to change them while i’m gone like there supposed to. My sheets where changed one time my whole stay because i asked them to, Then as i was leaving i went to the gas station right beside there hotel and was met by him and another guy cutting my car off while i was pumping gas they both get out and start telling me i need to watch my mouth bc of a previous incident between us i kept getting loud with them trying to get people to look obviously, but they finally got in there car and left

The folks here were very nice. We had put in a long day on our motorcycle and the woman that checked us in gave us a very nice quiet room. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. This is an older drive up to your room motel that has been taken care of. We will stay again if in the area.

Old motel, it's ok, you get what you pay for. Beds are hard, really hard. Friendly staff

If you are on a budget this is a good deal for the money. No frills, no breakfast, no hair dryer, no fancy soaps, very old furnishings. Having said that, there is a great diner for breakfast within walking distance, the room was clean (we checked the bedding with a UV light and it was spotless), and the manager was extremely friendly and helpful. There was plenty of hot water and the water pressure was good. The AC worked very nicely, too. The room did not smell badly, either. We will return if we get to Wauseon again.

Awful, the guy was belligerent at the Priceline rep.for advertising his prices, refused to give her his name, the man had issues giving his name, snatched the business card off my hand for trying to give his name to Priceline so I can get my credit. Will NEVER go back there again

Great spot right off the tollway. Clean comfortable room. Great service. The operator possible owner went way above and beyond helping me locate my foolishly left behind wallet

Close to interstate and the Blue and White Cafe. Excellent food, good prices. I checked in about 1 am, left by 9. Check in and out gentleman very courteous. Clean room, comfy mattress.

Very clean rooms great parking and manager at front desk was very polite also noticed some newer renovations such as new floors very comfortable will definitely stay everytime I'm in town

My stay was just ok. If you are hard working, on a budget, and just need a bed to get off the road, this is a reasonable no frills option. Large parking lot helps with commercial vehicles like mine and they can accommodate a pet. I would suggest looking them up online in order to grab a deal with a booking agent to get a better price for the stay.

Booked on an app thought I was getting a good deal for two queenbeds rooms, at check-in was charged $20 additional fee told front desk I'll cancel and go across the street and magically the fee was reduced to $15. Unknowingly the app was set to two guests and we have three. No where in any documents does it say additional charge for a family member staying with you. Won't be returning plus loud road noise from turnpike. I won't not recommend staying here. Avoid at all costs

The manager was very nice and respectful. The room was clean, comfortable and well stocked. A very enjoyable stay.

Zero point zero! This was the most disgusting dirty hotel I’ve ever stepped foot in! I didn’t even get undressed or pull the sheets down. I don’t believe the sheets or towels were clean. The furniture was falling apart and the microwave should have been put into the trash several years ago. The fridge didn’t work. The room smelled like an ashtray and the smoke detector was missing from the ceiling with just the hanging exposed wires! This place should be condemned and shame on the executives at Rodeway for having your name on this fleabag of a place!

Terrible front desk. LED sign outside claims room price starts at $49.99 is a total lie. He said those rooms were all rented out while the lot was empty with only a car or two. Then told me the cheapest room he has is $89.99 plus tax while whole bunch of booking sites shows $57-59 rooms still available. First he said go ahead and book it if it’s available so I was booking in front of him at the counter. 5 mins later he said don’t bother, he doesn’t have any rooms at that price available anymore (?) even if I am able to book it he won’t be able to honor the booking. It was absurd.
He seemed just want to trick me into paying $100 ($89 plus tax) for rooms that could have been the same for cheaper rate. Greedy and nasty. So we left, went somewhere else.
He deserves a one star review.
