Terrible they will sell you a lemon and then act like it’s your problem! Within 60 days of having my vehicle and I paid 20 thousand cash they gave me the run around about fixing whatever was wrong with this vehicle! Please go to a better lot then this one! There crooks!

Just bought a car and traded my old one at Marhofer Chevy last week. Experience was fantastic and I’d recommend anyone to go see Rich over there. Very friendly and outgoing person without being pushy on anything. Enjoyed our conversation including when it wasn’t even about cars.

On a side note my parents have bought their last few cars from Marhofer on Main in Cuy. Falls and I would just recommend Marhofer dealerships to anyone.

Awful experience. I will not say Ron Marhoffer as a company is bad all together -because I had a good experience in past at their Cuyahoga Falls Collision location -but the Stow location -DO NOT GO! Horrible customer service - bad communication and lack of follow up! They need a new sales customer relations manager there-because Alan Shumaker was not customer service oriented and disrespectful. My 2017 Honda Civic they had starting end of April 2022 -I did not get it back until July 2022 and during that time there was lack of follow up and communication-but it gets worse. When I got my car back -on my way home -my entire car smelled like something was burning and smoke was coming from seams under the hood-in addition my air pressure light came on. After inspecting my tires there was an air bubble in my right front diver side tire. They did not want to accept they did it -even though I said it wasn’t there. Even my insurance after reviewing their pictures they took upon collision center getting my car showed no air bubble! They said I had to go back to place I got the tires because it was what they labeled a “manufacturer defect”. I called my tire place and they said if there was a defect they would have seen it once they put air in the tire when they put the tires on. Again excuses and lies! It gets worse -after having to fight to get a new tire -my car was finally finished again. I picked it up and it was shaking a bit -I took it to third party -Midas and they said the collision shop replaced one ball joint but not the other that needed to be replaced and was definitely obvious so it was causing play in my steering. They declined to fix this! Unacceptable - botch job! I called corporate location and left several messages with Chris Marhoffer explaining the situation/complaint and asking for assistance and never got a return call! I was significantly disappointed because I purchased a car from Ron Marhoffer in the past, used their Cuyahoga Falls Collision Center -worked with Joel at that location and had a good experience. However, this experience and service I received and lack of follow up of my concerns on managements end -they have lost me as a customer!

Our purchase experience was by far our best experience buying our new Camaro. We found the car on the internet website and called to confirm the car was available. Shaina answered the phone and was such a pleasant young lady confirming the car was available. We drove to Stow, Ohio (1hour 20 minute trip) and met with Shaina and bought the Camaro. All the people we met and worked with on the purchase was simply great! Awesome experience!

Modifying my review as a place holder. I will retype it once my entire interaction is over. As it stands I’m unhappy, but a handful of events have made me feel a bit better about the place as a whole. I will follow up hopefully when my car arrives.

Everything about the whole experience was great. Treated with respect and compassion, and we felt like Marquese really took time to listen to us and help us through any problems we may have had. Everyone that we met with on that day could not have more friendly and helpful. Overall, a truly great car leasing experience. Thank you! We love our new equinox!

We brought our truck here for repair and an on-site accident occurred resulting in further accidental cosmetic damage. Chris Marhofer worked with us closely to oversee and remedy the repair to our great satisfaction. Would bring our vehicle back and would purchase from here in the future. Thank you for your service!

We passed through Stow on a 90F degree day with my elderly parents and no A/C in my Suburban. Steve and the Service team rallied around fixing my truck and completing some services that were close to being due. They got us in a rental car while they were working and we were able to attend the family funeral that we traveled to the area to attend. This service team is nothing short of top notch. The service rate for all that they did was very fair, and they took great care of us with no more of a notice than a phone call. If I lived closer, this would be my service provider of choice. Thank you for taking care of us!

This was the second time that I brought my car in for service. I had to wait for parts to come in. As soon as they arrived, I scheduled to bring the vehicle in the following week. It was ready the same day and I was able to pick up that evening before closing. I am very happy with my experience.

I had a appointment for a appointment for oil change and tire rotation at 4: 30. I waited for 1 hour for the service to be completed. The lube tech that checked my tire tread said my tires were between 4/32 and 5/32. I just bought those tires 3 months ago. The lube tech did not set all my tires to 35 psi and did not check the brakes in the rear of my vehicle. He also left greased finger prints on the inside of my vehicle on the A pillar. The service advisor was the best part of the experience. He was very professional and courteous. The service advisor gets a 10 but the lube tech gets a 1. I worked in the dealership as a service tech for over 20 years, take pride in your work! One hour for oil change, tire rotation is unacceptable!

Shaina Tamminen was excellent to me. Very personable, excellent attitude, helped me more then I ever expected. I have bought many cars but I usually ended up going to a Marhofer dealership. Always kind and pleasant.

We ended up getting just an oil change even though we had questions about other things. They could have sold us things we didn't need, but they were honest and did not. That makes me want to use them again and tell others about them. Thank you.

I’m giving a five star rating to Zoe in finance and insurance. I purchased a vehicle in 2019 and unfortunately this year I had too many major problems happen with it and had to trade it in sooner than what I wanted. I had purchased the gap insurance and I was told I could be eligible for a refund. I had called a few times and no one called me back. On the third try I talked with Zoe. She was friendly and sent me the documents I needed to sign in a timely fashion. I appreciate her help.

Prices are extremely high. Got a tune up spark plug replacement and ignition inspection. $560! Got a quote from two places one of them Spitzer Chevrolet in canton. $310. I only tried this dealership because I moved up this way. 40 minute drive to save hundreds of dollars Is an easy choice.

TLDR: Charged for inspections on items I informed the service technicians that I was aware of. (Prior to releasing the truck to an auto technician)

The first time I took my truck in to have an exploratory look into my steering column connections to see what was knocking I was charged for a list of items I reported prior to turning my truck over at 125 a service hour. I reported the issues that they would encounter and said I was aware and to not bother with it. Once they found the knock in the extension of my steering column, associated with my lift, they fixed it and I have had no issues with the repair itself. However, I had to pay 625 for the items I was aware for service when I explicitly said to disregard. None of the items were safety related so there should be no reason for them to disregard my request.

Be very weary with what they say, and how they run sneak arounds. The quality of work actually performed by their technicians has been top notch otherwise.

Connor and Zoe were THEE absolute best to work with. They were extremely quick to respond, efficient and attentive which made me choose to buy a car out of state AND spend more on the car than I was originally anticipating. I worked with multiple dealerships right before finding them and had some horrible experiences. I am an operations director so I am always impressed when I see such great customer service! Keep up the great work!

This place will scam you if they can. If I could give a zero star I would. They tried to triple charge me for something and when speaking to the owner he completely disregarded what I said and still wanted me to get the service done at this location. I will never be going to this location again. The Akron Chevy is much nicer and does not try to scam you.

Stop offering or recommending services that were literally just performed. They always recommend the coolant flush or transmission flush. Literally had that done in March at that location and they’re telling me in July I’m overdue and should do it. Umm doesn’t that stuff appear on their service records with the vehicle. Outside of that they are usually quick and good work is done.

Everyone was great never pushy and got us into what we wanted color and all for our new car marquese was an outstanding salesman and made sure he could do everything he could to get what we needed for payments and Kyle got are financing quick and easy and didn’t push the extra stuff that we did not want! We recommend Ron marhofer Chevy to all our friends and will continue to come back there for all of our cars!
