Roses Discount Store, Whitehall OH

Store is a mess. Employees work but don't put things in there places. When you see a price tag on something they don't give it to you at that price. Alot of things are out of place.

My son got a job only to be fired from this location because he had to call off. He called at eight thirty the night before and asked Tammy, who answered the phone, to give Antoinette a message. She said she'd leave a message with management. Because a new hire got him sick and he had to be sent home early.

He left at 6 am getting to work, by bus, just to be told that his name was out of the system. Was told to call back at 2 pm to talk to managers. They told him he was fired because he threw his shirts and name tag in the stores garbage and was a no show. He still has the shirts and tag! Which he told management and their response was, you’re fired.

They only hired people for the back area to clear it out because they had an inspection and needed the area clear for that reason. Afterward, they let people go after the 8 days straight they had to work.

They are unethical users of local minority labor in the community. Do not work there, especially for the 8 and a quarter an hour they pay. There isn’t any job security with there company, only high employee turnover, of local area ethnic employees.

I’ll NEVER spend my money to further the lifestyle of greedy, money grubbing, non african american pockets that inflicts usury on the community!

Awesome place furniture for great prices and they also do finance on furniture which helped my wife with living room set. Check it out and see the great deals they have will be back to get a bedroom set soon.

I found what I was looking for good prices customer service was good it was also at the end of the day people were still coming in the store was closing within the hour

I wasn't looking for anything special but as usual, I found a few special things!

I used to work here when it first opened.it has definitely gone downhill since then but I still like going here to find a fun deal

Don't apply for any job with this company they don't care about their employees especially if you get hurt because I you file a claim they will act like nothing happened to you they work you like a dog for 10 dollars and hour so please don't apply here

I love this Rose's! They have everything you may be missing. The night wear is nice but the DOVE body wash gots to have it y'all.

Unkempt the bathroom uugh! So sad when certain sides of town can't get the same attention. I did find a few items I needed, that was my plus. Before I go the cashier was very friendly

I always love shopping here. You never know what you will find and almost everything is deeply discounted. The only negative thing this trip was a roof leak directly onto a food display. Someone placed a bucket but didn't remove the packages of food.

It's a variety store. If yabsee it get it! They have some great brand name buy outs. Bebe, Hilfiger, Ocean Spray, Dove baby, Dove everything, Gain, Home Decore, etc. You don't know what you may find. In the summer it's a great place for sundresses, blouses, and shorts. They have some great wall, floor, room decore. They have accent furniture and large area rugs too. Just periodically stop by here! Nothing is forever! If ya bring it back there may not be an even exchange!

Great little discount store great prices on clothing and other little knick knacks. I am just a little weary about the electronics have not purchased any electronics from this place ever.

This place was unexpected. My first time going here I walked in the front door saw some washcloths bought some. Did not walk around. Went home washed the washcloths and they bled and I said I wouldn't go back. I did go back to pass time while I was waiting for my son to get out of work. I walked the whole store and I now love the store and can't believe I were so long without Roses in my like. I'll be going back.

I always find a good bargain here for different things for my house. The people that work there are friendly and helpful.

It was ok, the isles where the auto section was a DISASTER, I was looking at a comforter they wanted $30 where I work I can get one for $5. Other than that didn't pay much attention, know what I needed, went in got it and was out.

Boy I tell you, only 2 lanes open lines too long, no baggers floors had trash clothes broken toys I won't be going there anytime soon. I understand being short of help but the managers could've helped the cashier's more. The 2vof then did their job handling the long lines They're to be COMMENDED FOR THEIR EFFORTS.

Very nice pricing especially curtains and blinds. Stores in a bit of disarray but not bad really clear aisles for the most part. Sales clerk very efficient and helpful too.
