Rumpke Waste & Recycling, Greenville OH

We live on a rural route and have the automated pick up. The driver's like to leave the trashcan in the middle of the driveway, sometimes the yard, or tossed on it's side. Today our can is gone and I have to prove he took it. So I posted some photos of how there's been times our can has dropped into the truck. Usually someone gets it out. No it's not at my neighbor's as Elise told me it probably was. No it wasn't broken as Elise told me it might have been. No we didn't SEE him take as Elise told me is the only way I could know for sure. What I will tell you is that all the folks on my block, on a country road, are 100 feet from one drive way to another. That 15 minutes are pick up my can is gone. The people Elise said probably stole my can didn't take the old people's house or the can with no cars in the driveway. They took my can but not my 65gal recycling can? That doesn't make sense now does it.
We have had problems of not having the trash picked up, on the ENTIRE block. Yet I was accused of not putting my trash out early enough at 4a because it should be the night before. All of my neighbors do the night before and they weren't picked up either. I wouldn't call if I was so dumb as to miss trash day because honestly I do all the time. My can goes out every other week because it isn't full.
I think I'll be calling best way. It might be more but I don't care. The old lady next to me, the driver takes her can to and from her house, over 100 feet one way.

I work for a public entity and we have several dumpsters that get emptied twice a week. The drivers rarely put the dumpsters back where they came from and leave them a mess. Sometimes they’re not emptied all the way as well. Greenville doesn’t get the job done.

HORRIBLE! Our trashed as not been picked up as scheduled on MANY occasions. One week there was a 2 day delay in pick up! They often skip houses, sides of the street, blocks and sometimes the entire street. This week there was a excess amount of cardboard in a neighbors trash, they did not pick up on the scheduled day and to top that off it rained all night, you could only imagine the mess before they picked up the next day! I have contacted my City Council person.

Absolutely awful, never pick up the cans they are supposed to. They will pick up one and not the other and at one point dropped the can in their truck and drove off with it. It took over a month to get a new o e after a dozen phone calls.

I have been calling for two weeks for them to pick up my trash and was told to leave the dumpster by the curb they would be back later to pick it up.that was 3 days ago! Still out there and still full! Now I have trash setting in my house cause I have no where to put it! Very disappointed in Rumpke!

Picked up bags but left everything else. They have always taken items in the past but not today? Customer service was useless on the phone. Rules this and rules that but no explanation why everything has always been taken in the past. I was told that I must find a way to transport all the trash that was left to the Greenville dumping station. I always spoke highly of the company but no longer. I guess all the negative reviews were right. Only getting 1 star because I could not give a 0

Their rates have never stopped going up. The first reason was fuel cost, fuel went down nearly $2.00 per gal since then, yet their rate continues to increase. What a rip off this company is

One day they took my trash dumpster on the 20th before me due date 22nd. Then they told me to pick it up myself i told them i had no way to pick it up. I'm new in this town, and I do not know anyone. They want to charge extra for there mistake on picking it up from my home on the wrong date. I had the money to pay on tbe due date also. I told them a month before my due date i will have my bill money paid in full. If any one has problems? Make sure they add it to there notes and a confirmation number. Record all you can. It's all about the money, not helping people.

I have called Rumpke several times, left messages with customer service and they have transferred me to the safety department, where I also left numerous messages. I have sent emails never a response of any kind! I am sick of the property damage! We have lost almost 5 ft of our yard by damage due to the Rumpke drivers! We put in gravel and it continues to get worse! This needs to stop and someone needs to do something! I don't pay you to tear up my yard. I pay you to haul trash! Our property line went to where the 2 alleys meet.

I keep getting billed for Trash cans that were not even a part of my account. They were in an acquaintance of mine's name and account and somehow they added them to my account. I have been dealing with my trash can disappearing for the last 6 months. I call they say it's fixed, and then a couple weeks later I get another bill and my trash can comes up missing. I am tired of dealing with this harassment and fraudulent charges. By far the worst company I have ever dealt with. They need to get it together.

By far, worst customer service I have ever experience from any company I have worked with. They do not answer their phones, emails or call back. They will destroy your mailbox with their trucks and not take the blame for it when you watch it happen. They do not keep track of their billing or payments and continue to bill you after your service has been done with. If I had any advice for someone who wants to read a review, "DO NOT use Rumpke at any location".
